Vulkhan used his Battle Stance. He drew his sword and started to move. He wasn't preparing to attack yet but instead, trying to read my moves. He may not be as fast as me but I know that he has more constitution and strength than me which made him tougher and stronger. I'm still not sure about his intelligence though. A simple mistake could cost my life.
"They started to use their Battle Stance. That means they are preparing to attack and we will see soon who will land the first hit!" Aika commented.
Vulkhan decided to charge at me carrying his giant sword. His sword is not normal. It was infused with fire magic which means if I get hit by that, even with Shade's passive, I will receive damage and because he is one of the strongest, that will hurt like hell for sure. Avoiding his attack is my only choice.
"FLAME SLASH!" It was just a regular slash technique with fire magic. I already predicted his move before he released his attack. I dodged it on time and hopped backward but while I was in mid-air... Huh??
"FLAME WAVE!" He connected a combo! The first move was just a start! A wave like the Red hooded girl used when we fought, is flying towards my direction!
"DARK SLASH!" I deflected and broke the wave of flame but what the heck?! He was already above me! The second move was just a diversion!
"FLAME OVERHEAD SLAM!" This time he used an attack that will force me to hit the ground! It was a push technique to knock your opponent down. But it will not work! I twirl my body mid-air in the right direction to avoid the slash and countered with a kick! But the force of his swing was too hard that it forced me to fall and failed to attack! Damn it!
It was like the combo of Zeth but this time this is more powerful because of the flame enhancement! After his third attack, he dives down to hit me again! I will be having a hard time evading the attack because I'm falling and can't move or change my direction!
"FLAME SLASH BARRAGE!" He slashed the air multiple times creating flame waves! The waves are flying towards me! It was like raining fire!
"Vulkhan used one of his signature moves! The FLAME SLASH BARRAGE! Is this the end of Scythus?! Let's see what will happen!" Aika excitedly said.
I used my fire boosters to increase my falling speed and not get hit by the flame waves. The moment I land the arena I used one of my special moves.
"DARKNESS!" In an instant, the side of the arena where I landed was covered in Dark smoke. It was to hide my presence and at the same time avoid the attack.
"Wow! That's the infamous dark smoke he used when he escaped the Order of Light City when they are chasing him!" Aika excitedly said.
*BAAM BABABAAM BAAM!* The flame waves hit the whole area where I was in but because of my fast movements, not even a single wave hit me.
"Tsk..." He clicked his tongue. He didn't expect that I could dodge all of his attacks.
"That was a nice combo but now, I will show you what I can do," I let him attack me earlier, but now I am going to attack.
"Phantom Blade..." I whispered. My sword was infused with dark magic. The effect of the spell is to ignore physical defenses.
I swiftly charged to him and prepared to attack. As soon as I enter his range, he tried to attack me with his sword swinging it sideways.
*SWOOOSH!*I jumped upwards to evade his attack while releasing darkness and the moment I landed, I swiftly slash his back. My sword passed through his armor and rips his flesh inside to his waist. He failed to defend or evade my attack because his vision was hindered by my darkness spell.
"Damn you!" He's pissed!
He swung his sword towards me but that was what I expected. I ducked below avoiding his sword and once again slash his left leg and rolled away. My attacks didn't end from that. After rolling I sneaked behind him and landed a powerful attack on his back leaving an obvious wound!
"PHANTOM ETHEREAL BLADE!" I landed a massive attack!
"AHH! You're really pissing me off!" He didn't die from that. It looks like I was right about his constitution. He's really tough. No wonder he's the third God.
"Scythus' attack was very effective! Is he really going to win against the Third God? What do you think old... Guild Leader?" She almost called him the old geezer. Haha.
"Aheem. From what I can see right now, is that Vulkhan is really holding back and trying to test what Scythus is capable of." Are your eyes really that poor?
"I'm trying to save my moves for later when I get to have a chance of my revenge to Zeth but you are really pissing me off. I'm gonna kill you this time!" His eyes are filled with anger.
Is this the attitude Drake was talking about? He should really calm down. There is no need to be that angry. His body is still covered in his own blood from my previous attacks. That would really sting a bit. Ugh... It seems he is using his monster's soul! I can feel it!
