Dorian was able to return to the abandoned mansion without a problem this time. Although he was annoyed he was attacked, he didn't fear repercussions.

The City Lord wouldn't attack him. Since the arrival of the Red Scorpion Gang, Dorian was the only one able to kill the Stingers, so even if Dorian went against the laws and killed a few people, as long as he didn't cross the line that separated the Lord's interest and the rest of the world, then he wouldn't attack.

Once at the mansion, Dorian went in the kitchen and searched for a bowl, and a wooden stick. Then, using the snow outside he washed them as well as he could.

When he found them clean enough, he put his herbs in and started crushing them with the stick, until they became a paste. Then, using his dagger, he dropped a drop of blood in the paste.

Now finished, Dorian took the snowballs he had prepared earlier, which now had hardened a little, and using his blood he drew small runes on them. Even if there were five snowballs, the runes he was drawing were the simplest reinforcement runes to make the snowball more solid and make it harder to melt, so it didn't need much blood.

Once finished with the five snowballs, Dorian walked in the house and got down the cave, with a big metal bowl he had found in the kitchen.

There, the two Sadunites were in the middle of crushing the pieces of armors and the weapons into shards. They stopped when he arrived and asked "Will this be enough?"

Dorian nodded and took a shard, and inserted it into in snowball. He felt resistance because of the rune he put, but he was strong enough for it not to really make a difference. He put the runes to make sure they wouldn't fall apart when he inserted the shards rather than really making it harder.

Dorian put tens of shards in each snowball, with the two Sadunites helping him. They were a lot slower because it was hard to put the shards in for them, but it still allowed him to save time.

Once finished with the five balls, Dorian said to the two "You said the water here was scalding hot, right?" The two nodded, and so Dorian walked to the edge of the earth he was walking on and used the big metal bowl from earlier to take water.

Dorian felt curious as he looked at the water, it was calm like the water from a lake, it didn't look hot at all. So he decided to put his finger in. It was indeed hot.

Dorian clearly felt his finger burn, and yet when he took it back there was no trace on it. But he had suffered damage as his health bar had decreased.

He looked at the pot of water and said "This should be enough. Now, before I summon the demon, Jok'ii, teach me telekinesis."

Jok'ii nodded and waved his hand, making the dagger Dorian had given to him appear. He said "Focus on the dagger, will for it to move. Ignore my mind's influence."

Dorian nodded and fixed the flying dagger, commanding it to move in his mind. But he felt nothing, his mind wasn't reacting.

So he closed his eyes and entered the meditative state. He then separated a part of his white flame. Like when he used Mind Invasion, Dorian pushed this white flame out of his mind.

This time, his mind didn't leave his body because the main flame remained in his mind, but he had the weird sensation of being able to feel everything around his flame outside.

The wisp of white fire approached the dagger, and tried to touch it. But a force was separating it from Dorian's fire.

Then, a small red flame appeared and helped his flame touch the dagger. But even when his flame touched the dagger, Dorian felt he didn't have control over it, he needed to strip it from the red flame.

Dorian's white fire flared up, be it the part inside and outside his body. It consumed the red fire and Dorian finally felt himself being able to control the dagger.

He opened his eyes, and looked at the approaching dagger. With his naked eyes, he couldn't see the white flame burning violently around it, but he could feel it.

Dorian smiled and skillfully made the dagger fly in the air. He moved it to Jok'ii, and took back his flame when he felt Jok'ii try to take control of the dagger.

But he did not immediately take back the wisp of fire in his mind, and instead moved it to the big bowl with the water in it. By accident, the flame grazed the water, and it immediately sent back the part that touched it to Dorian's mind.

Making sure he was more careful, Dorian tried to take control of the bowl. He felt the same resistance as earlier, and this time it was bigger than with the dagger.

At first he had thought it came from Jok'ii mind, but it seemed that it instead came from the object itself. Dorian took out a bigger flame out of his mind, fused it with the part outside and took control of the bowl, making it fly a bit.

Only then did he take back the flame. Looking at his status, he had received a new skill, Telekinesis. But he was surprised to see that his ability Throwing mastery had leveled up to the first level [Adept Throwing Mastery].

It also allowed his Pure Agility attribute to reach 17, so his Agility was of 19 with his boots. Moreover, his [Adept Mind Magic] to level 3, and his Intelligence to 21.

Dorian smiled and said "I'm now ready. Anything to say?"

Jun said "We will help you kill the demon. What should we do?" Dorian replied "Can you act on his mind?" Jun nodded "Barely, I should be able of stunning him when he first crosses through space. But after that, I fear his mind will have rebuilt its defense and I won't be able to do anything."

Dorian asked surprised "I thought Low class demons can't use magic?" Jun nodded "And that's true. But this isn't magic, it's simply a natural talent demons have. They literally live in Hell, they need a strong protection for their mind."

He then looked at Jok'ii and said "As for you… Can you go past its defense?" Jok'ii replied "If I use a dagger then no, its skin will definitely stop my dagger from advancing. But if I use a heavier weapon then I may damage it, I'm not sure."

Dorian nodded and asked "If I throw my dagger at you and you don't have the time to stop it with telekinesis, can you stop it?" Jok'ii nodded, and Dorian continued "Can you make it bounce back?"

He nodded again. Dorian smiled brilliantly and said "Great. When the demon will appear and Jun stuns it, I want you to create a barrier around it that will make anything that touches it rebound."

Jok'ii said "It won't stop the demon." Dorian replied "It's not for it. Can you do it?" Jok'ii nodded.

So Dorian said "Come on then, let's take care of those spirits. Deactivate the arrays to let pass the spirits, then put it back."

The two nodded and walked up the cave with Dorian. Once there, they sat on the ground in front of the tunnel leading to the house, and the ground lit up under them. Dorian asked "Are you sure they won't attack you?"

The two nodded, so Dorian entered the house. The family of spirits swarmed it as soon as he stepped in the house, as if they forgot how he destroyed them every time they met.

But this time, he didn't do anything to them and instead started running in the tunnel.
