Argul POV

Argul just had the best idea for a name she had ever had. She would call the tree White Isolia. There was something to the name that just sat right with her. She smiled and used her identify.

So there were 4 different blossoms and not three. Argul kinda wanted to know what they did, but she had to test that out later as the system didn’t seem fond of sharing that knowledge.

The thing about the intent was also interesting. Right now intent just amassed more and more in Lotusriver and she already worried about possible consequences, but that there would be organisms that used intent was kind of obvious in hindsight.

Argul was still sure that they wouldn’t be enough to balance out intent use and production, but they would at least give her more time to think of a possible solution.

She took a look at the Isolia and smiled. What a nice tree. Argul would like to sit under one of them for a bit, but she had work that was still unfinished.

The next thing she wanted was some kind of moss that was fluffy and so, without any further details, she used her skill on one of the limewood trees. As a result a pink moss with short leaves grew on the trunk of the tree, there wasn’t much fluff around yet however.

Once the moss had finished growing it started to create some sort of pink cotton-like fiber above itself. The layer of fiber grew to around the thickness of a fist and then stopped. Well, Argul knew it didn’t stop and the growth boost of her skill had just run out. This did have a lot of fluff potential and Argul wanted to know why it was doing this.

She gave the plant the name pink cotton moss and identified it.

Argul would smile if she could right now. The moss was kind of cute and would definitely bring fluff into her deep forest.

It would likely cause pink clothes to become normal in the future, but that wasn’t something Argul was really concerned about. You would still be able to buy painted clothes, so she wouldn’t have to wear pink herself.

Argul went over to one of the White Isolia’s for her next plant. This time she wanted a small flower that glowed warmly in the dark, to make this floor even more inviting.

The flower she got looked like a snowdrop with a yellow blossom instead of a white one. The only thing special was that they grew a lot larger in the cotton of the pink cotton moss so that their blossom is always outside of the cotton.

Sadly it was daytime at the moment so Argul couldn’t experience the glow of the flower herself. She took a look around the area instead.

The image of a deep forest that was inviting instead of scary was coming along nicely. Argul had basically covered most of the things and the only thing that could do with another plant was the underwood. While there didn’t have to be too much around it would just be empty if she let things grow for a while.

To do something against this Argul created another small plant. This one was a root or rather that was its main body. It did have a few small fern-like violet leaves above ground. She couldn’t say for sure if it didn’t do anything as long as she had no idea of alchemy, but it wasn’t magical in its normal state for sure.

With that Argul had created all plants she had to to finish this floor and was now ready for the creatures. She had to admit that it was a lot more fun to be able to fill a floor without having to wait in between.

For the creatures the plan was to have nice animals that worked well with the plants so no horrors here. Hopefully…

For an easy start Argul decided to go with a bird first and a flock of small songbirds grew into existence. Their wings were black and the rest of their feathers were of a lavender violet color.

They took off into the air and started to chirp happily, disappearing into the treetops of the limewoods.

Argul followed one and noticed that they were oddly similar to a scarlet tanager, just violet so she decided to name them like that.

She would declare that as a success. The birds shared little with the real tanagers except for their looks, but Argul wouldn’t care about such nitpicking. Important for her was that she had created a nice animal that fit right in with this floor.

Argul listened to the bird's song for a few moments before she focused back on her task. The next animal she would create for Mia, even though she would never tell the girl. She would create a flying squirrel.

The squirrels she got were around the size of a fist and rushed on the trees that were around. Their fur was purple and looked like it was really wooly. They were pretty cute so Argul named and identified them.

They took the part about being playful seriously and began to chase themselves up and down the trees. One of them jumped into the pink moss and disappeared for a second before it peaked its head out of the cotton. Damn, that look made it hard for Argul to introduce a predator, not that she had a choice in this.

She wasn’t really sure what to create this time and decided to let herself get surprised. The only thing she had added was that the creature had to be able to eat meat. Nobody said that her predator couldn’t be able to choose if it wanted to eat meat or plants, right?

Argul activated her skill and watched spellbound. Her predator turned out to be something that had similarities to a bear, only that it was about the size of a koala. They had bluish violet fur and small round little ears.

One of the Fluffels spotted them and ran in their direction. The bears observed the Fluffel for a moment and then with a leap- nah, kidding. They turned around and ran away.

Argul identified them to find out why though.

Argul sighed. She had just created the most introverted animal, it was just like she had been in her last life.

She patted the blue bears in her mind in condolence. It will get better, just believe in you and try.

With that Argul had finished her floor. The only thing left to do was checking her status, then she could watch her new creations for the rest of the night.

Argul rolled her eyes. She had already anticipated that Alyra had done something when her daughter had patted her shoulder that one morning.

Got dammit that was one hell of a reward. On one side Argul wanted to be happy about it, on the other hand this didn’t help the problem at all and made it even worse.

Though the skill was kind of there to prevent her from killing masses of weaker people just because she could or at least it would show those weaker, that they didn’t have a chance in the first place. She could still kill them afterwards so it was more to stop her from killing just because someone annoyed her.
