The girl took an arrow that was in the bag she carried on her back. She positioned the arrow onto her bow and aimed the arrow at the assassin closest to the boy. After a whole year in the mountain, she learned archery and become good at shooting animals regardless of size and movement involved. Aiming at a human while they are being distracted is not so hard for her.
The girl released the arrow and then quickly grab another arrow and aimed at the second closest assassin. The assassins were busy going after the boy, they were not aware of the two arrows released back to back flying at them with power and speed. Suddenly an arrow pierced the heart of the assassins closest to the boy. The second arrow pierced right through the chest of the second closest assassin. Both assassins went down which caused the two remaining assassins to become alert. Could it be that reinforcement had arrived? They put up their guard and scouted their surrounding.
One of the two assassins left ran after the direction of where the arrow originated from. The girl got up and ran from her post when she saw the assassin approaching. The boy glanced over where the enemy was running to and when the girl got up and ran, he noticed that the person who helped him was just a girl. Afraid, she may not be able to fend the enemy, he then ran towards the girl but was blocked by the remaining assassin.
The boy then fight the assassin that blocked his way. He swung his sword forward as he charged towards his enemy. The boy now feel a surge of energy swelling up inside him. He started attacking more fiercely with more force. It could be because someone showed up and that had given him moral support or that he now have a reason to be stronger then he was before. He had learned swordsmanship and martial art since he was a lot younger. Though he may not be as strong as some people out there, he is strong enough to defend himself. He knew that his life is always in constant danger, so he learned the necessary skills to protect himself and survive the cruel world full of conspiracies.
The girl does not know martial arts. She learned how to survive in the mountain fending off vicious animals, but going up against skilled assassins who have learned fighting skills for years and been fighting most of their life would be too much for her. She is quite agile and have built stamina over the year but she is not strong enough to face skillful assassins. She was able to dodge the swings and thrusts of the sword but it would be only a matter of time before one of the swings hit her. Still, she was not afraid, she kept the assassin running around, and worked up. She continues to flee from the assassin and when she gained enough distance she shoot arrows at the assassin.
As the girl was running backward aiming her bow and arrow at the assassin, she tripped on a vine. She tumbled backward and down onto the ground. The assassin saw this as an opportunity to kill her off. He barged forward at full force and swung his sword down to cut the girl. She lift her bow up to block the sword but the sword cut through the bow and landed on her shoulder. At the same time, she used the arrow in her hand and thrust the arrow forward right into the assassin's abdomen area.
He was injured but not dead, he retracted his sword and took another swing. At the same time when the assassin retracted his sword and took the swing, the girl pushed herself off the ground, sped behind him and took out her knife that was strapped to her waist and stabbed the assassin in the spinal cord making him paralyzed instantly.
The last assassin noticed that he is the only one left. It is better to flee and get more reinforcement later. They have been paid a high price for this mission and they must complete the mission. So he took off and fled.
