'So they have been revived. The fact that they are here means the magic item probably is also located underground.'
If I destroyed the revival magic item, their revival process would slow down quite a bit as the remnant of their souls searched for the nearby church.
'We can put them all in jail at once.'
Although I wouldn't get any information from inside their base, we could always interrogate them later. That would suffice. The higher-ups probably knew a lot of information related to their cult.
