Mika was chatting in the camera cheerfully as she skillfully put on her makeup when Ryn entered the room. She paused and turned to look at Ryn with a smile.
"Your dress is on the bed," she told Ryn before turned back her attention to the camera. She continued her chatting as if she was not interupted just now. She chose another small brush and brushed it over the eyeshadow palate. She chose a very light pink to apply over her lids.
Ryn walked to the bed and pursed her lips at the very light pink dress. Luckily, as Mika already knew how she did not like pink that much, the colour was not that obvious. Ryn took hold of the hanger and brought the dress into the bathroom, along with a set of underwear she already prepared earlier. She did not know the style of the dress but she asked what type of dress it was and whether it was one shoulder or strapless style. Being a model, she could guess an appropriate set of underwear to wear underneath.
When she returned back wearing the dress, Mika just finished her recording. It seemed like it was a record one, not live. If it was live, Mika would immediately explained to her viewers when Ryn came into the room. Ryn put the bag with her used dress and bikini into a bigger woven bag they brought along. Then, with a wry smile, she went to Mika, handing herself completely to her best friend for the makeup and hairstyle.
"I'm going to record this," Mika announced as she ushered Ryn to sit properly so that both of them fit into the frame of the camera.
She knew it, Ryn muttered under her breath. Seeing how much Mika recorded so far, she had the feeling that her makeup and hairstyle would be recorded as well for Mika's YouTube channel.
"Don't you want a drink first? You must be thirsty," Ryn said right before Mika pressed the record button. She remembered that she brought along Mika's drink with her into the room and quickly went to retrieve it.
"Oh, sure. Thank you," Mika said gratefully. She realized that her throat was dry and she started tonfee uncomfortable. She took the watermelon juice and drank it happily.
Ryn sat back on the wooden chair the way Mika wanted her to. She ran her fingers along her long hair and frowned. Then, she grabbed the hair brush and brushed her hair, untangling those hair.
"Now, where were we?" Mika asked once she was done. Her throat felt better now and she was excited to record another video... or two.
Hmm... during the editing, she would break the videos in two, just like the video she made earlier for her makeup and hair.
She started by greeting loudly at the camera before introduced Ryn and informed what they would do for the video. Then, she started by taking the brush from Ryn and brushed Ryn's hair as she chatted.
An hour and a half later, both of them went downstairs. The men were chatting at the lounge while the others were waiting not far from them. The women quickly approached the men.
Mika twirled a bit to show off her dress to her fiance while Ryn just took the glass of water Jeremy offered and took a sip.
"You are so beautiful, Ryn," Jeremy praised. His eyes could not stop from staring at her up and down. Of course, for the sake of the shooting, the makeup was quite thick to ensure it would show in the photo.
"Thank you. You look good too," she praised him back.
He also changed his outfit. It was a white cotton shirt with black jeans. He deliberately let 3 buttons untouched. He looked handsome in a rugged way.
He smiled. He wanted to kiss her but she stepped back, "Careful with the makeup. I don't want you to ruin it. Mika will be furious."
He turned to look at his little sister with a frown. Even when that girl did not speak, she could still ruin his loving atmosphere. He should do something to ensure no one could come between him and his Ryn.
The four of them went outside the motel. The crews followed behind. During the time when Mika and Ryn got prepared, Jason already talked with the photographer of what he wanted for the shooting. They discussed and agreed with the poses. One of the team even went to check the location and ran back, informing them whether the idea could be done or not.
As they were going to shoot at the beach, the dresses were not long, just over the knees. Ryn and Jeremy walked hand-in-hand together just like Mika and her fiance. The men even helped their partner to walk slowly on the sandy beach, making sure they did not trip or fell down.
"First, we will take the couple shot," the photographer said once they reached the exact location. The sun wasn't setting yet so the climate was not yet to be caught. Right now, they were going to take a few of couple shots and also with the bridesmaid and the best man.
Ryn as the bridesmaid helped arranging Mika's hair and dress before she went to stand behind the camera. The photographer quickly snapped a few frames as he praised the couple. He even helped instructed them for poses.
Ryn also gave suggestions to both the couple and the photographer. Jeremy smiled watching her being 'chatty'. Despite her laidback attitude in life, when it was something that she was good at, she would share her knowledge without keeping anything.
"Ryn, when are you coming in?" Mika asked, gesturing her best friend to join in the set.
With a smile, Ryn went to the couple. Without even asking the couple, she started to arrange them and Jeremy before herself and smiled at the camera. It did feel like she has the talent to direct people.
The photographer who held the same thought clicked his camera happily as Ryn arranged the poses.
"Why don't we both take a photo, a silly photo?" Mika suggested after a while. She held Ryn's hand and gave puppy eyed look at her best friend.
"Just once. The sun is setting," Ryn agreed after she checked the sun. The main photo would be of the couple kissing and making a few poses with the sunset as the background.
She gave a few suggestion after looking around for inspiration and Jason and Mika quickly agreed. It was silly and funny and in a way describing Ryn's friendship with Mika.
After few shots, Jeremy stepped forward to join in, thinking it was ashamed that he was not included in the shots when he was the best man. He also was a bit jealous seeing how Mika was conquering Ryn but Ryn was done. Before he could position himself into a pose, she stepped away from the shots. She went to the photographer and indicated he should start taking the sunset shots.
"J, help me, " Ryn said as she gestured her boyfriend to come closer to the photographer. At the lens, she placed her right hand in the shape of half love. Despite there was no explanation, Jeremy could guess what she had in mind and held out his hand to form another half of the love. So when the photo was taken, it would look like it was taken from heart-shaped hands.
The photographer was happy to be lead by Ryn. He quickly snapped a few pictures from the heart shape hands, asking Mika and Jason to make a few poses, which they gladly did. Mika even giggled when Jason suddenly scooped her into his arms and spun around.
Then, once Ryn and Jeremy pulled back their hands, Ryn again started to give more instructions and ideas to the couple before again joined the couple in the same frame. Jeremy did not waste any time and followed behind. He refused to be left behind again.
The shooting ended after almost an hour later. Everyone was exhausted but satisfied with the result.
Ryan thought that they would all have dinner together but the team quickly bade their goodbye. They planned to have dinner at the hotel they were staying in and then went to bed. They were too exhausted to think of anything else. Besides, having dinner with the bosses (Jeremy and Mika)? Their guys were not that big. They would rather have their dinner without under the scrutiny of the bosses.
Luckily for them, the siblings not Jason insisted for them to join. They quickly went to the van the company rented and went straight to the hotel. For this trip, everything was covered by the Long, even their meals. They were given a credit card to use during this trip.
"I guess only four of us are having dinner together, " Jason said with a shrug.
