They continued watching the recording as the hosts took turns to comment and ask questions at Ryn and Mika.

Ryn leaned back more and more as the video continued to the part where she tried to make them understand that she was not ready to buy a car.

"So basically you did not buy any car... no, you did not get any car as a present that day?" the male host asked when he saw Ryn managed to change their mind about buying her a car as a present.

"No," Mika replied unhappily while Ryn shook her head, hiding a smile.

"I have a confusion here. Why don't you let Mika to buy you a car? I mean... isn't it more convenient?" one of the female hosts asked.

Mika also gave a curious look at Ryn. She also did not understand why Ryn kept rejecting whenever she wanted to buy something expensive. The only thing that Ryn always accepted was food. Ryn only accepted clothes and jewellery from her if they came from the brand's collection and it was one of the peaks of becoming the brand's spokesperson. Hence Ryn, whether she liked it or not, just has to accept them as her privilege as the 'face' of the brand.

Ryn took a deep breath and let it out slowly. Then, she smiled.

"I just passed my test and I was still trying to digest it. I mean, Mika, you do know how hard it was for me to learn how to drive, right?"

Mika hugged herself and shivered. She remembered clearly how much suffering she and the driving instructor faced when Ryn was learning how to drive. She swore her ears were still ringing two days after that. She did not know how the driving instructor survived teaching Ryn on driving when she could not stand just for one day. He was truly fearless by keep holding on teaching Ryn how to drive. She did not think she could do it more than a day when Ryn screaming that loud.

The hosts frowned when they saw Mika's reaction. What happened during the driving classes? They only heard stories of Ryn's screaming during driving but took it just as a rumour or exaggerate only. They did not think it was that serious. Besides, everyone has challenges when they were learning something new especially driving. They heard a lot of stories from so many people about their experients so they did not think much when they heard about Ryn's story. Besides, her story was kind of weird so they thought it was mostly just an exaggeration.

"Why did you take so long before you start to learn how to drive?" another host asked in a puzzle. Usually, people would learn how to drive in their teenage years and would quickly apply for a licence once they reached the age requirement. So, it was weird to see this model just learning how to drive. Shouldn't she learn earlier in order to help her with her work?

"Actually..." Ryn reached for Mika's hand for support. Should she tell them about it?

"Do you want me to tell them?" Mika asked.

Ryn nodded.

"Ryn had a bad accident when we were younger," Mika started. "Luckily nothing bad happened but it made Ryn refused to be in a car for several weeks."

Everyone looked at Ryn in shock. An accident that traumatized her for so long? How bad was it?

"However, when Ryn was almost kidnapped that day, she finally decided that she needed to learn how to drive a car and be more independent," Mika explained. She knew the reason why Ryn finally decided to drive and she supported her 100%.

It was for her safety as well as giving her another reason to be braver and more confident.

Hence, when Ryn decided to finally learn how to drive again, even Mika's mother was excited and gave so much encouragement that Mika sometimes felt like Ryn was the true daughter while she was the adopted one. But Mika did not mind, though. She loved having Ryn in the family and could not wait for Ryn to really becoming her real family.

"You were not hurt during the kidnaping, right?" the male host asked.

"Luckily, I was not. But it made me realize how dangerous it was for a woman to be alone in a taxi without any defence skill or pepper spray," Ryn said slowly. She could still remember the helplessness she felt when she tried to free herself from him. She had nightmares night after night until she felt like she was useless.

"It is important for a woman especially when alone to bring something like pepper spray when going out," a male host commented.

"Yes. My sisters and I all went to martial art class when we were young. My father said it was for our safety," the female host added with a serious nod.

"My brother too sends his daughter to a martial art class even though she is only four years old," another host chirped in.

"It is better to start young," the female host replied.

"I agree," Mika nodded. "I do think it is still not too late for you to join one, Ryn."

"I don't think I can give commitments for that. I am too busy," Ryn hissed. She looked left and right and was relieved the hosts were busy discussing about the importance of learning martial art from young. "Don't give them any idea."

Mika rolled her eyes. She bet none of them even noticed their conversation. Why was Ryn so worried about about nothing?

"Ah... dinner with family-in-law?" A male host teased, breaking Ryn's conversation with Mika.

"It's a celebration dinner for Ryn passing her test," Mika announced.

"What... Ryn... you're eating... what... what a minute," the male host narrowed his eyes suspiciously.

"Oh no..." Ryn cried in horror as she covered her face. That day she really has forgotten about the existence of the crew and did... something that she thought no one knew and would know.

"Catherine...!" Mika shrieked when she realized why all the hosts all staring without blink at the screen. She whipped her head and looked at Ryn in shock. "Tell me you didn't do that."

"Wow, we really should pair both of them together next time. Her reaction is priceless," one host whispered at his colleagues as they watched Mika questioning Ryn. They did not have to do anything when Mika gave more interesting reactions to Ryn's activities.

"She already asked question that we want to ask," another host commented.

"Ryn, is this the reason why you didn't want grandma and mom to watch this episode," Mika c.o.c.ked an eyebrow.

"Err..." Ryn gulped. She rubbed her nape sheepishly as she tried hard to find any excuse.

"I can't believe you did that. How did you do that? Can we rewind?" Mika went forward and wanted to touch the buttons but she stopped herself. She looked at the host, "How to rewind this? I need to see the technique."

"Oh Mika," Ryn cried as she covered her face. How could Mika react this way in public? She should just ask a copy of the recording instead of... this...

"How did you do that without ruining your shirt or us noticing it?" Mika cried. She wanted to learn it so she could avoid eating food but seemed like she was eating.

"I..." Ryn looked at the hosts desperately, hoping for them to save her.

But they all were enjoying how Mika was questioning Ryn. They knew Ryn was helpless against Mika. And the two best friends reaction was perfect for the show, which they were told by the director from

behind the camera.

"Did you use the fork?" Mika asked suspiciously.

"Why don't you show us how you do it?" finally one of the hosts spoke but it, in Ryn's opinion,

worsen the situation. She gave him a glare but he just grinned.

"Come on. Don't be shy," another one said with a comforting tone.

The two male hosts quickly went to bring a table and a chair. Then, when the door was opened, the male host went to get a plate of food. To Ryn's horror, it was full with salad.

Why is that bunny food here?

"Yesss..." Mika quickly pulled Ryn to sit on the chair at the table as one cameraman quickly arranged himself to focus on Ryn.

"I don't think this is allowed to be shown to the public. I don't want to give bad example to children, you see," Ryn gave an excuse but knew it was a weak excuse when none of them even nodded at her.

"Let's start," the female host said after she handed the utensils to Ryn.

With a heavy sigh, Ryn reached for the chopsticks. She started to repeat back what she did during that dinner but refused to speak a word. She just let the rest of them commenting about jer action.

"She is really a top model. I feel like I am watching an advertis.e.m.e.nt of chopsticks brand," the female host exclaimed as she watched Ryn without blink. She knew Ryn was reluctant to do that but when she did, she was so graceful and calm. Not too fast and not

too slow. The pace was perfect, it looked like a beautiful advertis.e.m.e.nt of the red plastic chopsticks. And those cheap chopsticks looked expensive in Ryn's hands.

No wonder Ryn was the first choice for the brands.
