Jason crossed his legs as he watched Jeremy brought two mugs of coffee and put them on the coffee table. Both actually did not go to work and gather at Jeremy's house.

In Jason's opinion, it was better to handle Jeremy and Ryn's problem before it got worst. And knowing this best friend of his, Jeremy would start thinking wildly again. He did not mention this to Mika, though, and preferred to handle this man to man.

"Your Americano," Jeremy said as he placed the mug right in front of Jason.

Jason reached for the mug and sipped the hot black coffee slowly. He enjoyed the hot drink while gathering his thought on this matter.

"Jeremy," he started after he put the mug down. He waited until his best friend lowered the mug and gave his attention to him.

"I think what the both of you really need right now is to see a specialist. You two really needs to see a counsellor in order to solve this never-ending argument," Jason suggested slowly, carefully arranging his words so Jeremy would understand what he meant without feeling hurt. He knew mentioning a specialist was a sėnsɨtɨvė matter for Jeremy as Mika has to undergo countless appointments for her problem. He has no problem with Mika seeing a therapist. It actually helped him to understand Mika more and strengthened their relationship.

He believed by seeing a therapist, would give a huge help for Jeremy and Ryn's relationship like it did to his relationship with Mika.

Jeremy looked at him speechlessly. What did he just hear?

"Look. I didn't mean that you have depression or something like that. What I mean is that maybe you two need to hear what a third party who is not involved emotionally with you two say. You know, sometimes another voice can clear the confusion in your heart."

"I am not confused at all," Jeremy denied quickly, still frowning.

"I am not saying you're confused. Of course, you know your own feeling," Jason started to get exasperated with Jeremy's stubbornness and denial. He should be more open-minded and able to think rationally. He should see how much those therapies helped Mika. And it was not something to feel ashamed of. Nowadays a lot of people seeing therapies as their way to improve their health mentally and physically. "It's just an alternative way to improve your relationship."

"I… no… We don't need our problem to be exposed to outsiders," Jeremy stated firmly.

"The therapist is under oath to keep everything confidential. Look at Mika. Don't you think she has improved so much and got better nowadays?" Jason tried to persuade Jeremy. Now it seemed like the problem was on Jeremy with his stubbornness to admit what went wrong.

This was going to be a long day for him, it seemed. He guessed he might need to cancel the lunch date with Mika if Jeremy still refused to admit his own weakness.

*~*~*~*

Ryn leaned against the pillow and stared at the wall blankly. She had no mood to move anywhere even though she was already having headaches for skipping her meals. She hugged another pillow tighter when she remembered to breathe.

It took her almost half an hour to finally calm down.

The first thing she did once she managed together her calmness was to go to the closet. She let out a sigh as she looked at how tidy Jeremy arranged her things. She realized how much time and effort he gave to do this. So, it was a bit… understandable when he was pissed off when he could not enter the bedroom after exhaustingly tidying everything.

She squats and let out a heavy sigh. Maybe she should be more understanding of him?

She spent about ten minutes there doing reflection before she walked to the kitchen. Her hand rubbed her stomach hungrily. She skipped meals and could not hold her hunger anymore.

Instead of making her favourite steaks, she ended up just having a bowl of cereal. But it did not taste like cereal at all. She could not taste anything as her mind was on Jeremy.

Finally, she reached for her phone and opened an app. She quickly typed a short sentence and sent it before she changed her mind. Once she did that, she put it down and let out a sigh.

Hopefully, he would not stay mad at her.

She washed the dishes and put them back to where they've belonged. Then, she walked back to the bedroom and sat on the edge of the bed. The phone was left sitting beside her. She let out a sigh as she stared at the wall blankly. Would he forgive her?

*~*~*~*

Then, Jeremy's phone made some sounds indicating a message came in. Jeremy glanced at it at first, thinking to ignore it before he noticed who the sender was. He quickly grabbed it and stood up.

Jason just ċȯċked an eyebrow to see Jeremy quickly climbed up the stairs to go upstairs. What was the message all about until he could not read or respond to it in front of him?

Jeremy quickly entered his room and sat on the couch right in front of his king-sized bed. Did she just apologize to him? He read the message again and again just to make sure. Then, he smiled.

It seemed like Jason was wrong. They did not need any specialists to help them. All they needed was each other and time.

Without wasting another moment, he quickly speed-dialled her. He knew she was waiting for his call.

"Hello, love," he called when she answered the call. He did not have to wait long for it. Just like he thought, she was waiting for his call.

"Hello…" her voice was low and long. She seemed to be uncertain about how to talk with him.

"I'm sorry too," he said quietly.

He heard her sigh.

"I think… we really need to speak more…" she said slowly. "I won't know if I do anything wrong if you don't tell me."

"Me too…" He stood up and walked to the window. He threw his sight out and let out a sigh. He guessed both of them realized their weakness was communication. They spent time together but preferred not to talk clearly with each other if they were having problems. He knew on his part, he let his ego ruled him again.

Who needed specialists when they could figure this out by themselves?

He scoffed at Jason. Jason knew nothing about relationships. Why did he even bother asking Jason when he could solve this with Ryn by themselves.

Ryn sighed. "I feel like we're always fighting since we got back together."

"I guess… we're still in the process of learning?" he suggested. He admitted rather reluctantly that this time, he was less confident when he was with her. As both of them have entered and experienced the real world, he was worried that she would fall in love with another man and leave him. He tried hard to conquer her, to make sure she would not go into someone else's arms when he was not looking.

He did not want to lose her again and tried hard not to repeat the same mistake.

She did not speak for a while. He too.

She was the first to break the silence.

"Do you…" she started, "Do you think we need time off?"

"No." It was a quick answer. A quick and filled with anger. Was she suggesting another breakup?

"We can't be like this, J. I'm tired."

"Maybe we're still learning. Why don't we learn about each other again? Treat this time as if the first time we're together," he suggested desperately. He did not want another separation. He could not bear not having her in his life. No again.

"Can we, J?" she asked slowly. She did not want to fill her days arguing with him or second-guessing if she did something wrong.

"Yes, we can. Love, don't give up on us. You know we belong together." He could not believe that she would give up right when they were just starting back. Why couldn't she be more understanding and patient?

"J…" she sighed.

"Don't be too quick to decide, love. Give us more times," he begged.

She did not answer. It was quiet from her side.

It actually made his heart pounded so hard. Was she giving up on them?
