Several hours later she woke up. She sat up on the bed and stared at the wall blindly. She gazed at it without a word and it went on for several minutes. Then, she finally rubbed her eyes as she moved to stand on the thick carpet.

Time to start the day.

She looked around and covered her mouth as she yawned. She stretched her arms and turned back to look at the bed. And then shook her head.

No. She should not go to sleep again. Not yet..

She made up her mind and walked to the bathroom. Her bladder could no longer hold it.

A few minutes later, she returned back into the bedroom, still yawning. She already in another outfit, her usual outfit; a pair of sweatshirt and tracksuit. She stopped at the bed, gazing at it longingly.

"Who cares," she murmured and without thinking, climbing back onto the bed, pulling the comforter as she laid comfortably on the bed.

She totally forgot about the cameras that were recording her every single move. She was too exhausted and her bed refused to let go of its grip over her.

This time she slept for another four hours.

When she finally woke up, the sun was already high in the sky. She sat up and yawned loudy as she stretched her arms. Then, she blinked her eyes, trying to remember what day was today and whether she had to do something.

Three minutes were the time it took for her to remember that she has to check the hotel for the hen party.

She looked for her phone and found it still where she put it last night; on top of the nightstand. She reached for it and smiled to see it was fully charged.

Instead of sitting there checking the messages, she again stood up and walked through the door with the phone. It was already late and she still hadn't had her breakfast yet. In fact, she also missed her lunch.

She put the phone on the counter and went to open the steak freezer. She took out two pieces of uncooked steaks. Then, she busied herself taking out the spices she would use for the steak. She left them on the counter and poured herself a glass of water.

She needed to wait for the steaks to thaw first before she could cook her brunch.

She walked to the gym with her phone. But, instead of starting to exercise, she just sat on the floor crossed legs and scroll through her media social. She pursed her lips when she saw how many likes she had. And the comments.

It was so many she knew she would not be able to read and answer every single one of them.

She looked around, looking for inspiration for today's post. Then, she hit her head. How could she forget about her food? She could always take photo of what she was eating and it was enough for her daily task.

She continued by checking the messages. So far only Mei Li did not leave her any message. Jeremy was reminding her about the hen party, that she should not forget to book the hotel and the activities she planned to do with Mika. She also needed to remember to come for the practice but it was not at the studio or his home but at the orphanage house. She should start practice with the whole team.

Jeremy could not come to pick her up but sent a driver to do it. He did not mention that he was worried that she would be uncomfortable when filming in a cab or a Grab, hence, allowing the family car to be used as the mean of transportation while she was filming the episode.

Ryn checked the time and ġrȯȧnėd. She did forget about it and she should start her move or she would be late.

"But I'm hungry," she rubbed her stomach ruefully. She wanted to eat but at the same time, she had to head to the orphanage now.

Argh... she has too many things to do but too little of time. She ignored the fact that if she did not sleep again the first time she woke up this morning, she would not lose more than half the day just by sleeping! No. It definitely was not her fault at all. She was innocent in this.

She went to the kitchen and looked at the steaks sadly. But, instead of putting them back into the freezer, she started to mix the spices and patted the spices all over the meat to marinate both. Hopefully, once she was done with what she should do today, the steaks were already ready to be cooked.

She then returned to the wardrobe to her tracksuit to jeans. She also grabbed a cap and a backpack.

She was just packing her bag when someone rang the bell. Frowning, she looked at the screen for the camera outside and saw a man. She recognized the man as the driver for the Long family.

"Yes?"

"Good evening, Young Mistress. I am here to bring you to the orphanage," the driver explained politely.

"Ahh..." Ryn was shocked but quickly shook the thought away. At least, she would not waste time to wait for the cab. "I need another two minutes."

"Take your time, Young Mistress. I am just outside," the driver replied.

Ryn punched the buŧŧon to disconnect the 'call'. She quickly returned to finish her packing. It did not take much time as she only needed to grab her charger and power bank. She quickly put on her sneakers and went outside with the bag over her shoulder and her phone in her left hand. She used her hand to lock the door.

"Young Mistress, let me hold the bag." He offered and reached put to get the bag.

However, Ryn refused the offer. "No need. I can carry it."

Once she decided to act like nothing was out of ordinary, she really ignored the existence of the cameraman. Her attention was on the car.

"Let's go."

The driver quickly opened the door for her. He wanted to tell her about the cameras but when he saw her ignoring the cameraman, he decided that she knew and accepted these cameras around. No wonder Young Master Long told him to pick his girlfriend to the orphanage. It was to let the cameras being set up in the car.

The driver waited until Ryn buckled up the seat belt before he switched the gear and drove the car away. He tried to remember not to overtake the car in front of him. The van was filled with the crews from the series.

Jeremy was already there when they arrived. He was tapping his foot while listening to a boy playing a solo with his electric guitar.

Ryn's brows lifted to see how smooth the fingers gliding over the musical instrument. She found an empty seat and sat on it while waiting for the boy to be done.

Jeremy noticed her arrival but in order not to disturb the playing, he focussed on the boy carefully. It was a solo and quite an important part for the show. Hence, he kept making the boy repeating his part over and over again until he satisfied.

"Hey, you're here," he said as he hugged her with one arm. Another was holding a music score. After the greeting, he turned back his attention to the boy.

Apart from the three of them, the room was also filled with teenagers. Some were gathering around the piano while some were watching the boy worriedly. The rest was standing away from them, obviously practicing their part.

Although Ryn and Jeremy could be considered as celebrities and they were excited every time both of them came, today the kids were too nervous. They had practiced this a lot of times with their instructor but today was the first day Jeremy and Ryn came just to practice the songs. On top of that, they were being recorded for Young Mistress's episode. How on earth could they keep their composure? They were after all still young and not used with a camera or three recording them.

"Okay, take five," Jeremy said once he satisfied with the boy's performance.

The boy, once he heard he did not have to repeat again, almost staggered breathlessly. His legs almost turned to jelly but luckily he managed to find a chair to sit. He let out a sigh and closed his eyes. Wow, that was intense.

Jeremy finally turned his attention to Ryn. "Are you alright?"

"Can I say I'm hungry?" Ryn asked as she rubbed her stomach unhappily.

He chuckled when he heard her words. Then, he put his hands on her shoulders and turned her toward the door. "There is a buffet beside this room. I bought extra."

"The kids?" She asked with a frown. She did not want any of the kid did not get to eat.

"I bought for everyone except for the babies," he explained as he rubbed her cheek tenderly.

"Give me fifteen minutes," Ryn said and walked to next door to find something for her stomach.

Jeremy shook his head in bemused seeing how fast her legs brought her to the food. He turned and looked at the kids who already stopped and watched the 'drama' with their eyes twinkled.

"The show is over. I want to here the choir again," Jeremy hit his palm with the music scor to get their attention.

Most of the kids started to groan but nevertheless went to the position and waited for the cue.

Jeremy sat on the piano. The music came out once his long fingers running and hitting thr keys. With a nod from him, they started to sing in harmony.
