Jeremy sent Ryn home after the meal. He still needed to go to work so she had to wait until he was ready in his work attire. Jason brought Mika back to Long's mansion so she could continue her sleep before he too went to work.
Ryn went straight to the bedroom to continue her sleep. She was still tired from yesterday's excitement.
After five hours or so, she woke up in the darkened room. She rubbed her head unconsciously as she stared blankly at the wall.
Then her stomach made a loud growl.
Instead of going to the kitchen to fill her stomach, she went to the bathroom first. She took a shower and washed her hair. She went to the kitchen with her hair wrapped in a towel.. She put on her sweatpants and tank top.
She was still sleepy so she only made a quick stir fry for her dinner. She ate it with some bread she found on the counter. She guessed either she or Mika left it there. No matter who left it, she was glad because she was too lazy and impatient to cook rice.
She finished her dinner quickly and washed the dishes. Then, she leaned on the counter and stared at the wall. She sighed.
Suddenly she felt alone.
She lowered her head and looked at the counter. How she wished she was still living with her parents. Despite the never-ending nagging from her mother about her eating habit and her job as a model, she knew she was loved by them unconditionally.
After a while, she walked back to the bedroom. Instead of lying back on the bed, she walked to the corridor and sat on the lounge. Her eyes stared at the black night sky.
Another sigh slipped out of her parted lips.

She put down the plate of fluffy pancakes drizzled with maple syrup and a lot of berries on top of the dining table and went back to the kitchen. It was the morning after and despite the late-night she had, she did not feel sleepy at all.
She poured a glass of milk while silently cataloging the food she still has and planning what she needed to buy.
She ended up needing to buy more than twenty items. Her eyes widened at the realization but later on, admitted that she always neglect this responsibility because she was either too busy with her work or too sleepy to go out to the shop.
She finally ate her pancakes; all five of them. Then, she finished the whole gallon of milk. Then, she quickly cleaned everything before returning to the bedroom to clean herself.
She changed into jeans and a white top. Her long hair was braided loosely and covered with a cap. At first glimpse, she looked like a college student.
She used a backpack and put the notebook and pen into it as well. She quickly walked until she reached the gated entrance to the community. She smiled and waved at the securities in charge of the gate and headed to the bus stand not far from the entrance.
She did not wait long before a bus finally arrived. As she already did her homework regarding the public transport around the area and knew which bus to take to bring to her destination.
Although she needed to buy groceries for her home, the first stop was not actually the grocery but a car shop. She entered through the glass door and looked around. It was not one of the shops Long family brought her last time. Those shops were among the top ten exclusive cars in the country and only rich people could afford them. This shop sold cars that ordinary people bought. The price range was more affordable.
A man quickly approached her with a smile. Although she looked like a college student, he was trained not to judge the book by its cover. Every person who came into the shop would be treated as their valuable customer.
Ryn could not help smiling when she received such an enthusiastic welcome from the man. She allowed him to serve her and follow him as he described the new arrival. She looked at each corner of the car as she listened to him.
He also brought her to check other cars when he realized she did not show much interest in the latest design. He spent more than half an hour with her, doing his best to grab her interest to buy a car, just any car.
"If I were to choose white, do you have it in stock?"
The man blinked his eyes at her. He almost gave up but right now... what did he just hear?
She smiled when she saw his reaction. It was a bad habit of hers, not allowing her true feeling on her face. Yes, she was smiling but what she was truly thinking was not on her face.
Silently she felt sorry for the poor guy. It was not her intention to 'bully' him.
The man hurriedly brought Ryn to his desk so he could process the purchase. He took a couple of deep breathes to calm down as his hands reached for the documents.
"Erm... which bank do you want to apply for the loan?" he asked. It was not a strange question to ask because all of the customers here would apply for a loan to buy a car.
Ryn smiled as she opened her backpack. She did not plan for any loan. Instead, she planned to pay everything at once as she hated owing money to anyone. Blame it on her parents. Her upbringing under their loving care made it hard for her to borrow and owe money from anyone. Hence, the reason why Jeremy and Mika always treated her things was because if they did not offer it, she would not ask from them.
When Ryn calmly told the man that she wanted to pay for everything at once, the man was shocked again. Ryn waited calmly for the man to get back his rationale before handing her card to him.
The man's shaking hand held the card carefully and invited Ryn with him to the payment counter. He watched as his colleague processed the payment calmly. He also watched Ryn calmly sign her signature on the receipt. Then, he returned to his desk with Ryn, gleeful at the thought of the commission he would receive from this purchase.
"Please wait for a while as we will bring your car right in front," the man said. He already informed another colleague of his to get the car she just bought. As everything was done so fast, even he could not believe everything went without any problem.
Ryn nodded. She went to sit on the couch and crossed her leg comfortably. She took out her phone and checked her phone. She did not mind waiting as she had already taken her sweet time choosing a car.
The car arrived in front of the entrance and the salesman quickly invited Ryn to go with him to check the car. As Ryn was not picky about the car plate, she did not even look at the plate but checked every other corner of the car before she gave her approval.
Ryn sat on the driver's seat and took a deep breath, breathing in the smell of a new car. She could not stop smiling as her hands touched the steering.
Just in case, the man was getting into the car as well for the test drive. This step was important just to check the performance of the car. He was just pulling the safety belt when, at the corner of his eyes, he saw her taking out something from her backpack.
His jaw dropped at the sight of two 'new driver' stickers.
"Can you help me put them up?" Ryn asked with a smile.
He accepted the sticker before he could even think. Then, he quickly pasted one to the front and one to the back. Wow, a newly licensed driver just bought a car without any qualm. Even though it was not as expensive as the exclusive branded car, this new driver was something.
He then returned to sit beside her but this time, he grasped the seat belt tightly. Would she be okay driving a new car without any of her family members? A new car was a bit different than a car that was already used daily and this customer might find it a bit weird and uncomf-
His wild mind went blank when she easily switched the gear and drove the car smoothly. It did not seem like a new driver was driving a car nervously but an experienced driver. Of course, this new customer was following every single rule and law of the road.
