Chapter 569: This is going to be a crazy day

"This is going to be a crazy day," Ryn murmured when she arrived at the location for the photoshoot and saw a small tall tent build right there. She guessed it would be her changing room during the shooting. She and Mei Li quicklu approached the photographer for greeting as well as discussing what he had in mind for the shoot. Then, Ryn entered the tent. She already handed her bag to Mei Li for safekeeping. She did not think her bag would be safe from being thrown everywhere during the changing of the outfit.
She chatted with the stylist as the hairstylist and makeup artist started to do their magic. The hairstylist and makeup artist chirped in, making the atmosphere quite light. Then, once the hairstylist and makeup artist announced that they have dobe, she took the first bathing suit. The three people left her to wear it alone before only they came in and helped adjusting everything.
Mei Li was not with them. She was with the crews as she watched everyone got ready.
Ryn finally walked toward them with the stylist, the makeup artist and hairstylist following behind. She went straight to the photographer. She listened to the last instruction before she took a deep breath, gather hear thought and put herself in the character she thought suitable for the theme. Once she was ready, she walked slowly to the water and at the signal by the photographer, she started to pose.
Just like she expected, it was crazy. During the shooting, it did not feel it but once the photographer announced for the next outfit, she rushed back into the tent. Usually the stylist was already in it holding the next bikini for her to wear. She quickly changed into it and let the woman adjusted it. Then, the two women went back outside. Before she went to her position, the makeup artist and hairstylist made sure everything was good and on point.
It was dark when they were done. Ryn even shot under the bright light held by the crews. Once they were done, she almost jumped in relieved. This was exhausting. The changing pace and the stress of having to rush in order not to waste any time.
Although she was wrapped in a fluffy thick bathrobe, the night was quite cold and she even lied in the water for the shoot. She was freezing.
They walked to the hotel nearby. The crews actually booked one room for Ryn and Mei Li, which they stayed once they arrived at the island. Ryn quickly went into the bathroom to run the hot water in the bathtub before she started the shower to wash off the sands off her hair and body. Once she was done with the quick shower, she checked the tub and sighed to see the water level was enough. She poured the bath salt and bath cream into the tub. She lowered her body into the hot water and sighed in relief. Her body all ached and once her body in the water, the aches gradually went away. She closed her eyes with another sigh.
Mei Li was busy checking the schedule. She gave half an hour for Ryn to take either shower or bath while she updated the schedule as well as to post the pictures she took earlier. She did not take any photo of the outfit but only the makeup and also the beach. She managed to take a few pictures earlier and chose what suitable to post in Ryn's account.
Ryn did not take long for the bath. She only spent about twenty minutes there before she came out, wearing a fluffy bathrobe. She rubbed her back as she walked to her bag. She took out a pair of jeans and shirt.
"You have another ten minutes to get ready," Mei Li reminded. She already brushed her hair and tied it into a neat bun. She also added a denim jacket to protect her from the cold of the night and the air conditioner.
Ryn nodded dumbly. She quickly changed into the outfit she chose and as her hair was still wet, she tried her best to dry it. However, instead of tying it into a ponytail just like her usual style, she just let her hair free and even did not put her favourite cap. She also put on her sweater.
"Let's go," she told Mei Li.
They arrived at the same time as the photographer. Mei Li chatted cheerfully with him while Ryn just smiled behind them. She was too lazy to talk about the business. Mei Li was actually trying to ask him if he had other future projects that suitable for Ryn. Despite the craziness today, the photographer was quite nice and very helpful. Not once they saw him losing his cool, not even when the wave crashed into Ryn and ruined the moment he wanted to catch. He did not even scold the crew who was stumbling when he needed a brighter light.
The crews were already at the table outside the restaurant. They were having their meal while having the night wind blowing them. Enjoying the beach at night while having a meal together could make the exhaustion went away. Everyone was tired from the shoot and was relieved that they finished the job perfectly. It was hectic and stressful but once they were done, they felt their shoulders lighter.
Once the photographer arrived, aka their banker arrived, one of the crews called the waiter to take their order.
Ryn did not take long to choose. However, instead of her favourite steak, she chose seafood. Mei Li, on the other hand, took a few minutes to choose. In the end, she chose chicken salad. She was not on a diet but it was getting late and she did not want to end up so bloated the next morning.
They had a blast chatting about so many things. They even asked Ryn about her study and was shocked to know she was actually going to do her practical in several more days.
It was almost two hours later before they went back to their room. Both Mika and Mei Li declined to have any alcoholic drink as they had early flight tomorrow's morning. They waved their goodbye and walked together into the room.
Mei Li was the first one went into the bathroom. Ryn, yawning loudly, went straight to bed. Man, she was beyond exhausted and tomorrow she had to wake up early.
Just the thought of it made her more exhausted.. She wished she did not let Mei Li to accept the next job.
