Lily stared at the new worker, ignoring the tugging from her friend, Leah. She wanted to pressure this new worker to quit so she would not have another rival for Jeremy. She would not allow anyone to get close to him.
Despite saying that she was his big fan, she did not know that Jeremy already has a girlfriend and that girlfriend was the supermodel Ryn who was sitting in front of her. Maybe because of her belief that he would one day belong to her, she did not read anything about him relating to the relationships. It was as if she closed an eye whenever the news was about his girlfriend or she directly could not see any picture of a girl with him.
Her mother tried to persuade her to stop her obsession and find a boyfriend but she refused to listen. She believed that her hard work would melt Jeremy's heart and he would fall in love with her.
Ryn was about to object to the accusation when she noticed someone so familiar walking into the building. She stood up and grabbed her handbag and notebook.
"My ride is here. Excuse me."
Lily blocked her way when Ryn tried to walk away. She crossed her arms and glared, ignoring the look from others who stopped to watch the drama. Those who were in the same department as Lily shook their head helplessly. This crazy woman has done it. She actually attacked her colleague because of her craziness over their boss. One of them recognized Ryn and sighed. It seemed like Lily's day in the company has come to an end. How could she do not even recognize the model Catherine whom their boss has introduced as his girlfriend? Even if he did not introduce her as his girlfriend, how could Lily not recognise her as someone who is close to the siblings?
Lily has finally met her match.
They silently lit candles to their crazy colleague.
"Excuse me," Ryn ċȯċked an eyebrow when the woman kept blocking her way. This was so childish. Was the woman thinking that they were in a drama fighting over a man? So childish.
"I suggest that you should hand in your resignation letter. He is mine," Lily warned. She pushed Leah's hand away irritable. Can't Leah see she's warning this new girl?
Ryn almost laughed. This woman was crazy. She could see those who were watching kept snickering, shaking their heads in bemused or pity while whispering to their friends. Only this crazy woman was oblivious to how people saw her acting right now.
"I'm sorry but you have gotten the wrong person. Excuse me. My ride is here," Ryn maintained her calm composure as she tried yet again to get away from the crazy woman but again, Lily blocked her way.
"What is going on right now?" a woman's voice surprised Lily and she turned around to see a young woman crossing her arms with her brows knitted together.
"Miss... Miss Long?" Lily choked out in shock.
"She's married," Ryn pointed out dryly. "Sorry for making you come in. As you can see I've met an obstacle."
Lily was still blinking stupidly at Mika that Ryn's words were not marked into her brain.
"Someone works in here?" Mika asked before frowning, "Get out of my way."
Lily automatically stepped aside to give way to Mika. She actually did not know what she was doing. Her body immediately followed the order from Jeremy's younger sister.
"Why didn't you call for the securities?" Mika asked as she took the ID hanging on Ryn's ċhėst. "Who chose the picture?"
"Who else?" Ryn shrugged. "Do I have the time to go home?"
"No. Your dress is already ready in the boutique. I've prepared everything already so just follow me," Mika rubbed her hands excitedly. Her eyes gleamed suspiciously.
"Fine. Let's go," Ryn sighed as she started to walk to the door. She ignored Lily and the rest. After the whole day trying to cramp everything into her brain, she was exhausted.
Mika gave a warning look at Lily before she hurriedly followed behind Ryn. She paused at gave a narrow look at the security. Her brother did not pay them with air but a lot of money so they should know what they should do, not just stand at the door doing nothing. Hmph... They did not think that her elder brother would not know about this. Hmph, later Mika would make sure that she would tell everything to her elder brother and let's see whether those lazy securities could work here anymore.
One of the securities tried to say something to her but cancelled his plan. He gave a desperate look at Ryn but Ryn pretended that she did not see it.

Mika pulled the safety belt and glanced at her best friend. "Are you okay?"
"Yes. I'm just trying to figure out why that crazy woman thinks that she can order anyone to resign."
"Who is she?" Mika frowned, "I don't think I've seen her before. Which department she is in?"
"You ask me? Today is my first day working here. How do I know?"
Mika pursed her lips thoughtfully. She reality ly could not remember who that woman was.
"Let's stop talking about that woman," Ryn said, "Let's talk about the event tonight. Why do I have to go when you have a perfect husband?"
"I've told you he has to do overtime tonight. Mother and mummy did not want to come," Mika shrugged. She did ask her mother and mother-in-law but both women said they wanted to stay at home. They told her that they have been attending charity dinners since they married their husband and now they happily handed the responsibility to the youngsters to do it.
"What event is tonight anyway? Are you going to give a speech or something?" Ryn asked. She did not remember whether her best friend has given her any information about the event. She did not remember anything except that Mika would pick her up after work so they could have enough time to get prepared.
"A magic charity dinner?" Mika answered.
