Before the battle began, Zan Fu and Shu Rong's enemies threw a strange piece of paper onto the ground and a strange colorful field surrounded them.

"A World Guarder? Very impressive." World Guarders weren't uncommon to see in a battle between cultivators. They were special talismans that created a barrier or field around a wide area in order to not cause any harm to the surrounding building or mortals.

It's super convenient! And with this barrier set up, they could fight at full strength without worry.

The leader of the group immediately launched forward with some sort of brass knuckle like object on one of his hand. He thrusted his fist out in an attempt to punch Shu Rong while she just dodged to the side and moved away.

Immediate regret overcame her as she realized that she left Zan Fu behind without any way to defend himself. She turned around in a panic to see if he was still fine and found a shocking sight before her.

Zan Fu stood there with both of the leader of the group's fists in his hand. He turned to her with a smile and shouted out, "Don't worry, I have these guys. Be careful with the rest."

A strange light surrounded him as he suddenly flew away with the not only the leader, but two other people, who he grabbed, as well.

They flew off in to the distance while everyone else just sat there and watched frozen in shock.

Shu Rong smiled back while looking at the four people in front of her. "I should be able to handle these guys." The other people from the Shadow Guild brought out their own equipment in the form of spears.

"Really? Are you really going to use a spear? No one uses those types of weapons anymore."

As a snicker popped onto the corner of her mouth as she raised her fist up. The four guys charged at her all at once. One of them swung the spear toward her head while the other tried to stage her legs.

Shu Rong lightly jumped up and spun in place while they stabbed the air above and below her. Once they pulled back, she lands and kicked them in the chests. The other two on the other hand waited patiently and once they saw and opening charged in while trying to pierce her.

She quickly stepped backwards while stepping from side to side in order to avoid the tip of the blades. As soon as one of the Spears passed her right side, she grabbed the shaft and twisted around using all her strength.

This caused the wielder to immediately flip mid-air and crash back onto the ground. He released a lungful of gas as the air was knocked out of his lungs.

"Haha, easy peasy!" A proud laugh came from Shu Rong as the man struggled, and failed, to immediately get back up. But just then, that laugh abruptly ended due to the raging fire that appeared in her side.

Her mind became blanked as it was completely filled with pain and she looked down to find the head of a lance sticking out of her. She quickly grabbed the shaft of the weapon and ripped it out while jumping away before another attack struck at her.

Looking at where the spear came from, Shu Rong found one of the men sticking out of a shadow in the ground. The man stepped outside of it and said, "Don't forget what are specialties are. We are assassins."

She stumbled back, grabbing at her side while glaring at the man. The man looked back with his comrades, who had just stepped up right beside him.

"Great job Ni Hai! We finally got her." One of the creepier looking men laughed out while pointing his lance forward.

Another man looked her over once before licking his lips lustfully, "Hey, isn't she kinda cute? Maybe before we finish her off, we can have a little fun?"

Digits and disdain appeared in Shu Rong's eyes when she heard the person's words. She couldn't believe that such people will still existed in this day and age.

The man they called Ni Hai held his weapon in front of his comrade while a blank look covered his face. "Focus on your mission fool. Don't forget that she wasn't here by herself."

"Why should we worry, Li Ruo can handle that mortal."

"You must really be stupid, a mortal who can not only stop Li Ruo's attack but DRAG two of us away with him is not a mortal. Use your head for once, that boy was much stronger than he appeared. We need to finish this battle quickly before it's too late."

Ni Hai nodded at his other friend's comment, "He is right, we need to kill her off now!"

The four people brought up the spears and looked over to Shu Rong. She looked at them with her vision blurred from pain.

As the four began to walk toward her, they heard a laugh come from the half dead girl, "Hahahaha!"

"Hey, what's so funny huh?"

As soon as this question was asked, Ni Hai stopped his steps. Shu Rong was looking directly at them with a strange, blank look in her eyes. Not only that, but an aura of killing intent was flowing from her body like a never ending fog.

She brought up her own hand in front of her face and smiled, "You are right, I shouldn't forget what you all specialize in. But neither should you forget what I specialize in."

The nails on her fingers started to grow and sharpen into fearsome claws, while her presence began to fade away.

The sun slowly rose up in the sky and for a split second, while everyone was watching her, it blinded them. Their loss of sight was for less than a second, but once they regained it, they shocking discovered that Shu Rong was gone.

"What the- ARGH!" Suddenly a scream burst out as a hand was shoved into the perverted man's chest and bursted our the other side with his heart in hand.

The other three ran back in shock but this didn't help as Shu Rong moved quickly around them and scratched one of their backs.

With speeds quicker than their eyes could see she slowly began to give them cut all over their body. No matter what they did they couldn't get her off of them and eventually one of them was cut down.

The last two stared at each other and Ni Hai closed his eyes and began to focus.

"Ni Hai, what's going to happen to us?"

"Quiet down, I need to concentrate."

He listened closely for a hint at anything and brought out his sense of touch to its maximum capabilities. With this he could feel every single vribration given off in the air.

Time passed slowly and a scream rang out and Ni Hai's last friend had fallen. And with that, he slowly opened his eyes as he said, "Found you."

He swung the handle of his lance backwards as hard as he could and felt a powerful impact against it.

Shu Rong flew backwards and coughed out a mouthful of blood as her vision began to fade. As darkness encroached upon her sight, she heard a voice call out just before losing all of her consciousness.

"I think that is enough."
