Mrs. Paterson was waiting for the young lady in her bedroom. Joleen stepped into her room and approached her mother who was sitting on the edge of the bed.
"Mom, I'm sorry, please don't be angry with me". Joleen said kneeling on the ground.
"Do you know that John is not home yet?" Her mother replied quietly.
Joleen looked up with eyes wide open.
"I..I didn't know" She answered as she slowly lowered her eyes.
"You know that he hates Edward. God knows what would've happened if he was the one who saw you two in such an awkward situation after midnight'".
She said sighing.
"Anyway, don't make these kinds of mistakes in the future. I won't punish you by stopping you from seeing him, and I won't be mad anymore, but you'll have to promise me in return that you'll let me know before you do such things in the future". The mother hushed as she gently patted her daughter's head.
Joleen felt so relieved and happy. About to cry, she hugged her mother.
"I won't do such reckless things anymore, thank you mom, I love you".
"That's my sweet daughter! Now hurry to bed and get some sleep, These pretty eyes can't have dark circles now can they?" She said smiling.
The next day.
It was the day of Anna's birthday. Everyone was getting ready to join the prestigious party which was held in the famous Plaza Hotel. They were all happy and pleased, but unaware of the fact that misfortune was about to knock on their doors.
Before heading to the Plaza Hotel, Anna was so nervous. She was Impatiently waiting for Sophie. Suddenly, she received a call from her best friend.
^Sophie where the hell are you! You better come right now if you wanna keep on living!^ Anna screamed.
^ I'm almost there Anna, I forgot the stuff You asked for earlier so I had to go back to the house to get it ^ Sophie replied.

"Ugh I Can't believe she hung up on me" Sophie said as she threw her phone on the backseat of her car.
Moments later, the spoiled girl waved at her friend by the villa entrance.
Sophie was aggressively dragged into Anna's bedroom as soon as she arrived.
"Show me! " Anna said excitedly.
" Why don't you bring some ice bags first? My wrist is all bruised now thanks to you! You could've be gentler you know!" Sophie complained.
"Cut the crap " She said as she put her hand inside Sophie's pocket.
" Huh? These pills are so small ! are you sure they're effective?" Anna spoke in a serious tone.
"Of course, the guy who brought me these said they have the strongest effect so rest assured. But what are you going to do? You haven't told me yet ".
"You'll know once my plan is a success. All I can say now is that after tonight, I'll be happy again!" Anna said with an evil smirk on her face.
" Don't smirk like that! it freaks the hell out of me! Anyway, I brought my sexy gown so let's get ready to shine!"
"Yes, it's time to use some magic! let me put these in my bag first". Anna replied while putting the pills in her bag.
