The red-haired girl nodded. "Yes, Young Master Juin," she said politely. "We are about to be late for your first class with Mr. Tucker. Please follow me."

Juin nodded and quickly walked behind her.

"I wonder if that Soren and her did something last night…" Lucifer said with a smirk, causing Juin to tumble slightly.

"Are you alright?" the female servant asked worriedly.

"Yes, I'm fine," Juin said with a slight blush on his face. "I just tripped over my own foot…"

When they continued walking, Juin glared at Lucifer and signaled him not to say anything weird, which of course, was met with a middle finger, a gesture that Lucifer learned from one of the mangas that he read "with" Wesley.

"Oh yeah, what's your name?" Juin asked as they walked, picking up the pace.

"It's Josephine…" the red-haired girl said.

"Ah…" Juin nodded. "That's a nice name… Are you also a supernatural human?"

Josephine nodded. "Everyone who works here has some supernatural background. My ancestor is an Adarna, but unfortunately, I didn't receive much of his strength."

"But you can heal. I saw how you fix Soren up last night."

"I can only heal the superficial wounds…" Josephine said with a sad tone, as if she were wishing that she could do more. "Anyway, we're here…"

She turned the knob, revealing a room that seemed bigger than the mansion. When she saw Juin's surprised gaze, she explained, "This room has been warded for practice purposes, so don't worry about breaking the house during your training."

She took Juin's backpack, bowed, and said, "I'll take my leave."

Juin nodded and watched as she walked away with his backpack. He then looked into the room warily. The room was completely devoid of any furniture, except for one swivel chair in the middle of the room, where someone was sitting there with their back facing him.

All Juin could see was that the person had bright, red hair.

"Juin!"

Juin looked back and saw Cyrus running toward him; his tie completely loosened. The servant who brought Cyrus over looked tired for some reason.

Juin figured that the little beast probably gave him some trouble on the way over, so he mouthed, "I'm sorry."

The servant picked up the tie that Cyrus dropped on the floor before bowing and walking off.

"Let's go!" Juin said before stepping into the room with the little beast.

BANG!

The moment they were in the room, the door automatically closed behind them with a loud bang, causing the two to look back out of reflex.

When he stabilized himself, he saw Cyrus staring up ahead with a grim expression, and he also saw a charred mark on the door.

"At least one of you is fast enough," a voice came out from the person in the middle of the room. The person stood up and turned around to face Juin.

"So typical!" was Juin's first thought when he saw the man. Tucker Lee had the features that one could expect from a fire Elementalist. His hair was red, his eyes were red, almost unnatural like. Standing at about 185 cm, he was at Lucifer's height.

The man looked over and pointed at Juin, "Prawn…"

He then pointed at Cyrus. "Shrimp."

While the two kids were looking at him with slight annoyance, the man sighed and said, "Why do I get a prawn and a shrimp… I was hoping that my first student would be someone tall and big, but instead…"

He then sighed and waved his right hand, upon which 10 fireballs appeared in midair.

When Juin saw them, he immediately went on alert mode.

In the blink of an eye, the fireballs disappeared from where they were and appeared right in front of Juin.

"So fast!" Juin thought as he ducked.

The fireballs shot past him, and when he looked back at them, he saw the fireballs made a turn in midair and was now heading back at him.

"Sh*t!" Juin cursed and immediately conjured up a shield in front of him.

BAM!

BAM!

BAM!

Juin cursed as he was pushed back by the force. Before he could even take a breather, he heard a warning from Lucifer.

"Behind you!"

Juin quickly dodged to the side, and just when he thought he succeeded in dodging the fireballs…

BAM!

"What the f*ck…" Juin cursed as he pushed himself up from the ground.

He could see Cyrus dodging the flying fireballs with ease, and he could also see the contempt in Tucker Lee's eyes.

"Weak… That shrimp is better than you!" Tucker Lee scoffed.

Juin did not argue since he agreed with him. "Again!"

Tucker Lee smirked and sent a dozen more fireballs at Juin.

For the next 30 minutes, all Juin did was to run and dodge the fireballs that were coming at him from multiple directions. At one point, he even took off his uniform, which was soaked with sweat and burned in some parts. Right now, he was running around the room in only a pair of pants that had been burned in multiple places, making him look rather pathetic.

Compared to him, Cyrus barely broke a sweat. Since it was obvious that he had extreme agility, Tucker Lee stopped sending the fireballs at him 15 minutes ago. Instead, he focused solely on Juin the whole time, sending more and more fireballs at the teenager every time the latter succeeded in dodging or blocking the fireballs.

"Alright, stop…" Tucker Lee suddenly said, dispersing all the fireballs that were chasing Juin. He then sat down on the chair and crossed his legs as he stared at his new student.

When the fireballs disappeared, it took Juin five seconds before he dismissed his shields. Glaring at his weird teacher, Juin barely had the energy to even stand. His legs were trembling from the overexertion, and one of his knees buckled in, causing him to fall on it as he panted heavily.

"Not good enough," Tucker Lee said with a sigh. "I'll tell Spencer to add another extra hour of endurance training to your schedule."

Juin did not complain. Instead, he stared at Tucker Lee with eyes that were filled with anger.

"What?" Tucker Lee raised a brow. "Want to hit me?"

"N-No…" Juin hissed.

"Come on, I'll let you hit me… Show me what you've got," Tucker Lee said, standing up and kicking the chair away with one swift kick. "Show me that you're worth my time…"

Juin glared at him, not knowing what to do. It did not seem right for him to hit his teacher, but after their first encounter and how the man had been taking him as a fool for the last 30 minutes, he really felt a strong urge to attack this man.

"Come, come…" Tucker Lee spread his arms open as he said, "I won't retaliate, don't worry. I just need to know where your strength is at now…"

Juin glanced at Lucifer, who was floating next to him. When Lucifer nodded, Juin also nodded. He took a couple of deep breaths before standing up. It was time to test out one of the new spells that Lucifer taught him.
