"These two… are getting too close to each other," Juin mumbled with a shook of his head.

Lucifer who was floating down the stairs in front of him smirked and said, "Ignore them. Once they see you in battles, they won't dare to make fun of you anymore."

In addition to Tucker's lessons, Juin had been extremely hardworking during the night as well. He would practice whatever he learned from Tucker for a few hours, before practicing whatever Lucifer taught him as well.

Even though the last few weeks had been extremely tiring, his strength did indeed improve by leaps and bounds. He was sure that he would not be the weakest at the elimination battle. At the very least, he was confident enough that he would be within one of the top five teams.

"Did you bring your pills?" Lucifer asked when they were about to near the boundary of the ward.

"Yeah, 10, as per your instruction," Juin muttered. In order to train him not to rely on anyone and anything, Lucifer made Juin carry only 10 Soul Rejuvenation Pills. In addition to train his battle skills, he was going to train Juin in learning how to conserve his soul power, which was something that Lucifer himself had trouble doing so far. Hence, Lucifer found it important for Juin to learn how this.

"Good!" Lucifer nodded before disappearing suddenly.

Juin then heard Lucifer's noise coming from within his mind.

"Just in case there's someone who could sense me…" Lucifer said. "Let's go…"

Juin nodded and stepped into the boundary of the ward. Once he was within the 50-meter periphery of Atlas' grave, the view suddenly changed. Before he took the last step, the grave looked extremely desolated, with weed and overgrown grass.

However, after he stepped in, what he saw was a tombstone that was as big as a human. On the top of the huge tombstone, there were some Greek words that were carved onto it.

"Not just a ward to confuse, but also want to create an illusion…" he murmured to himself as he admired the real grave of Atlas.

There was a huge line in front of him, so while waiting, Juin stared up at the Greek words, wondering what it could be.

"Here lies Atlas Honduras, protector of Atlantis and Earth," a soft gentle voice suddenly said.

Juin turned his head to the left slightly and saw Luca and a beautiful woman with long, white hair that fell on her waist. There was a serene and peaceful expression on her face, as if nothing in this world could faze her.

Her deep blue eyes reminded Juin of the deep ocean, seemingly able to calm one from within the soul. And most importantly, when she smiled, Juin could not help but smile along with her.

This beautiful woman was Luca's teacher, Lann Aodha, a Wind Elementalist. And despite her youthful looks, she had already celebrated her 100th birthday.

"Ms. Lann," Juin greeted her with a polite smile. He then scowled as he looked at her student, who was also rolling his eyes at him. "Luca."

Lann smiled gently at Juin as she said, "You're new here, and I don't think you spoke Greek."

Juin shook his head. "Do you speak Greek, miss?"

Lann smiled and nodded.

"My teacher speaks 10 languages! Unlike your bumpkin teacher!" Luca said proudly as he looked up at his teacher.

"Hey!" Juin warned Luca by narrowing his eyes. Tucker might like to bully him, but no matter what, he was still Juin's teacher, so there was no way Juin would just sit by and allow others to say anything bad about him. "Watch it..."

"Luca…" Lann sighed and patted Luca's shoulder. She then looked at Juin apologetically and said, "Sorry about that… Luca was upset at Tucker because he cut my hair short when we last sparred."

Looking at Lann, Juin smiled wryly. "I have heard about that."

It was just a friendly fight from a year ago, where Tucker and Lann agreed to a full-on fight. To win, Lann had to steal Tucker's necklace from him while he had to cut a strand of her hair. Tucker won, but he accidentally cut too much, resulting in Lann having to get a completely new hairstyle.

It wasn't a big deal, since she could always grow it out, but Luca, as Juin found out recently, was extremely protective of his teacher… to the point that everyone could see that the kid was more than fond when it came to his teacher.

Lann took a quick glance around before asking, "How's your preparation going, Juin? Where's Tucker?"

"His preparation is going well," Tucker's voice suddenly came from near them. "And I'm here…"

"You walked too fast," Tucker said with a frown and was responded with a roll of the eye from his student. He then nodded at Lann and asked, "How about a bet? My student will end up in a higher rank than yours."

"Still not done with your betting habit, Tucker?" Lann asked with wry chuckle.

Tucker laughed. "Live long enough, and life gets bored without some bets every now and then… How about it? My student against yours. It'd be fun. He's my only student, after all."

Lann looked at their students for a few seconds before nodding. "Alright then. What do you want to bet with?"

"That weapon that you got during your last exploration. It's a dual element A-ranked weapon, right?"

Lann frowned slightly, yet her frown did not marr her beauty even a little. If anything, it made everyone else want to beat up Tucker. "That's…"

She knew what he wanted. He had been bugging her for a while now, but she refused to give it to him no matter what.

"Don't bet with him, Teach! I'll win no matter what!" Luca said while glaring at Tucker. "There's no need for such a childish bet!"

Lann looked at her student, and after some hesitation, she smiled. She then looked at Tucker and nodded. "Alright then, I'll bet my Raptor with your Fallen Wind."

Juin leaned closer to Tucker and asked, "What's Fallen Wind?"

Tucker ignored him and stuck out a hand to Lann. "Deal!"

Lann shook upon it.

"Next, Ms. Lann and Young Master Luca!"

Upon hearing their names, Lann and Luca then nodded at Juin, Tucker, and Cyrus before walking to the front of the tombstone. Juin watched as they stood in front of the tombstone, and once they declared their names, the tombstone glowed a little before a portal opened up.

The moment they stepped through, the portal closed by itself again.

"So… What's Raptor? And what's Fallen Wind?" Juin asked after they were gone.

"Raptor is a claw weapon. It's an A-rank weapon for fire users. And Fallen Wind is, as its name implies, a wind-based weapon. Also A-rank."

"Oh, why do you want an A-rank weapon?"

"Are you stupid?! For you, of course!"

"Me?" Juin pointed at himself curiously. "But I have my dagger!"

"Your dagger's special ability is too dangerous and not suitable for most fights, not unless you want to seriously damage your opponents. Unless you aim to kill, you need something less murderous and soul damaging," Tucker said with a serious tone.

He then placed a hand on Juin's shoulder and said solemnly, "Lann has a few students, but Luca is her favorite. If I were you, I'd do my best not to let him win the Fallen Wind…"

Juin raised a brow. "Why…?"

"The Fallen Wind is a weapon that I 'obtained' from another dimension that's similar to Earth, but is highly advanced in weaponry. One of the supernatural beings who resided in that dimension created the Fallen Wind for a wind user who was involved in a prolonged war against the humans. This A-rank weapon was created for assassination purpose. It might be small, but once activated, it can locate its target from miles away, and it can shoot out a wind bullet from miles away, effectively killing its target without leaving any evidence behind."

Juin had so many questions, especially when Tucker made the quotation sign when he said the word "obtained". He realized that whenever Tucker mentioned he "obtained" a weapon, Juin could not trust the guy that the weapon was obtained from the right channel.

"Anyway, you and that Luca boy have some sort of a war going on, right? If he obtained the Fallen Wind, I'd say your days of quiet living would be gone."

Juin gasped. "Why did you bet with his teacher then?!"

In his mind, he was yelling, "I didn't even want to bet!!!"

Even though he was confident of his strength now, but he had not fought with Luca ever since that time the guy attacked him at his old high school, and even if he had gained tremendous strength since then, he was sure that Luca would as well.

As such, the bet was rather risky, especially since no one knew Luca's strength at the moment.

Unfortunately, his teacher was someone who liked to bet.

"Because I have confidence in you," Tucker said with an evil smile. Also, he really wanted that claw weapon, Raptor. If Juin really did not want it, for an A-rank weapon, Tucker could still sell it for quite some money. Patting Juin's shoulders firmly, he said with an innocent smile, "So, don't slack off during the battle later."
