In his anger and annoyance, he felt to notice the snowflakes that were on the ground, which had been manipulated by Saville into some sort of glue.

"Do you really think that I would spend so much time talking to a mere pet?" Saville grinned as he watched Cyrus' face turn pale.

Cyrus quickly looked up, and he could feel the cold wind of the ice bat that was swinging down toward him. Raising both his arms up, he braced himself for the impact that was about to become.

He had no choice. He was a beast with no elemental power. His power lied in his strength and his speed. All he could do now was to maintain the confidence that with the strength in his body, he would be able to withstand the hit with minimal damage.

"DIE!" Saville's evil laughter rang in Cyrus' ears.

BAM!!!

HISSSSS!!!

The randomly scattered snowflakes and ice dust on the battleground were blown up by the movement of the collision, blocking everyone's view.

"No…" Tucker gripped onto the side of the chair so tightly that cracks appeared on the arms of the wooden chair. He narrowed his eyes, hoping to see through the ice dust, while praying for the safety of his only student. From his position, it was hard for him to see everything as the ice dust was the thickest. "Don't fail me…"

However, his frown soon disappeared, and a small grin appeared on his face. "He's finally retaliating…"

Meanwhile, President Presley, who had been watching from high above with a blank expression the whole time, suddenly crossed his legs and said, "Your Majesty, what do you think?"

"That new kid and his pet of yours are deadmeat… They are indeed too inexperienced." King Frederic said with a smirk. "Even if you are interested in him, you should have given him more training. Looks like I'm winning the bet."

"Really?" President Presley smiled as he picked up the cup of tea that was on the small table between him and the king. "Perhaps you're right…"

At the spectator seats, Luca frowned slightly as he mumbled, "Is he a punching bag? He has only been taking punches the whole time."

Lann placed an arm on Luca's shoulder, but she did not say anything.

"Oh damn…" Saville laughed. "I guess they are gone…"

He then turned toward the judges and said, "Just declare I'm the winner!"

The Head Judge nodded while wiping the sweat off his forehead. Looking up at the yeti's eyes, he shivered uncontrollably. Even though he was already quite advanced in age and had witnessed countless elimination battle, he had never seen such a skill before, nor had he seen such a giant monster.

"In this fight between Saville Roc.h.e.s.ter and Juin, I declare…" The Head Judge suddenly stopped and adjusted the glasses that were resting on his nose.

"Hey, old man, what are you waiting for?" Saville said an arrogant grin. "Are you blind? Can't you see that--"

"Shut up…"

It was soft, yet clear.

And it definitely caught Saville's attention.

Saville turned, still with the grin on his face, thinking that he might have heard wrong.

The ice dust was still heavy. It was slow to settle because of the unique atmosphere, but the heavy layer of ice dust soon became thinner and lower.

When the dust was half-settled, Saville's smile froze on his face.

Standing in front of him was a human… If one could even call him that.

It was more like layers of red flames that made up a human figure.

Yet this flaming human figure was holding onto the ice bat with one hand.

Drip!

Drip!

Drip!

The point of contact between the flaming hand and the ice bat was melting at a fast rate, and the melted ice dripped onto the floor with an ominous dripping sound that sent shivers up Saville's spine.

"How… How's it possible…" Saville mumbled as he finally recognized the flaming human figure. The grin gone, replaced by a look of disbelief. "Juin!"

He was right. The human figure wasn't made up of flames. Instead, it was Juin, who was fully covered in blazing red flames.

"It's impossible!" Saville muttered to himself. "He's not an Elementalist!" he thought to himself in alarm. Only Elementalists could do such a thing like wrapping themselves in the elements that they were blessed with. Otherwise, even if their tolerance toward the elements were unnaturally strong, they would still be hurt by their power!

Juin looked down at Cyrus, who was now looking up at him in disbelief. "I told you I would handle this battle…"

"Oh?" King Frederic sat up straight and looked down at the flaming Juin. "That…" He then glanced at President Presley and asked, "Did you know about this?"

"I know nothing about him…" President Presley admitted honestly. "But I know that he's someone with plenty of potentials…"

"How?"

President Presley grinned but did not say anything.

Behind them, Crown Prince Renaud and his younger sister were also looking on with a surprised expression. They did not expect the seemingly weak kid that jumped out to save a little slave boy would actually be this powerful.

As for Princess Cecile, her eyes were slightly widened, but other than that, there was no other expression on her face, as if she was just slightly interested in seeing a burning man on the stage.

...

"Stay far away from me…" Juin warned Cyrus before looking up at Saville. He had completely disregarded the yeti. "This is going to be hot!"

The flames on his body flickered a couple of times before turning blue, raising the temperature of the area exponentially.

"I can't believe it took you so long to form this spell…" Lucifer said with a roll of his eye.

"It's my first time forming it in a battle!" Juin thought defensively. He then shook his head and looked at Saville. "Let's fight, should we?"

He clenched his hand that was holding the ice bat, and as if it were made of tofu, the ice bat crumbled. Not only that, the blue heat continued to travel up the ice bat in the form of blue veins, melting everything upon contact.

"Sh*t!" Saville cursed and quickly got back to attention. He made the yeti throw the ice bat away before the blue veins could reach him.
