After the Head Judge left the battle stage, Luca and Juin stood facing each other with their eyes narrowed.

"Not using your little pet?" Luca asked with a sneer as he glanced briefly at Cyrus and Tucker who were sitting behind Juin, in the special seats.

He walked around the battle stage slowly.

"I don't need to. After all, you didn't use yours…" Juin said, looking at Soren, who was sitting next to Lann in the special seats behind Luca's original position. Unlike Luca, he remained still on his original position, but he never took his eyes away from his walking opponent.

"Then… Don't regret it…" Luca warned as the air around them started to rumble.

"Be careful…" Lucifer warned from within Juin's Soul Dimension while Juin quickly took on a defensive position.

Juin had learned from listening to Lucifer about the fight between Saville and Caelian. Wind users had the ability to deprive one of oxygen. Hence, he had to prevent that from happening by creating an invisible shield around his body using his soul power.

Juin would have to spend a considerable amount of soul power in order to keep the shield from collapsing, thus giving a chance for Luca to strike him, but with his soul power reserve, he was not that worried about it.

At least for now anyway.

As the air began to visibly vibrate, Luca placed his hands up, raising them up to around c.h.e.s.t level with the palms facing up, where a complicated blue diagram appeared to be floating on each of his palms.

"Wind Cage!" Luca yelled as he pulled his palms back and placed them right in front of his c.h.e.s.t where one of the palms were down while the other faced up. The two diagrams then merged with each other, before exploding in a piercing blue light.

Juin quickly shielded his eyes to prevent himself from being blinded by the bright light. However, he never completely closed his eyes for fear of being attacked suddenly. Through his hazy view, he could see the Luca was still standing where he was earlier.

"Something's not right…" Juin thought to himself as he slowly lowered the arm that he used to shield his eyes earlier.

There was no direct attack on him. Instead, the water-air around Luca vibrated violently before being visibly separated, creating a somewhat huge round ball that was surrounded by "water-air". The ball contained Luca within it, and for a split second, Juin's lips could not help but twitch as he thought, "He looks like a hamster now…"

At first, the ball was only as big as Luca…

Then Luca looked up, meeting Juin's gaze, and he sneered, "Expand!", as he pushed his palms out to the side.

In a split second, the periphery of the cage suddenly glowed in blue before expanding in a lightning speed rate, engulfing Juin within it before the latter even knew what had just happened.

By the time he realized what had happened, he was in the cage… and his body felt heavy all of a sudden.

"The gravity…" Juin realized why he suddenly felt heavier than a second ago. Even though the Atlanteans tried to recreate an underground world that resembled the lands above the sea, they were still not advanced enough in their research to properly remove the naturally-occurred buoyancy in the water.

At most, they could only create enough gravity to stop people from floating up in the "water-air".

As such, the Earth people felt lighter when they first arrived here, and they could also easily "fly" in this type of air, such as what Juin did earlier.

"Juin!"

Lucifer's warning came abruptly, and Juin immediately got back to his senses, only to see a punch nearing his face.

BAM!

"Argh!" Juin g.r.o.a.n.e.d as he was flung back by the punch.

In a normal circ.u.mstances, Luca's punch would not have hurt that badly. However, Luca had used his power to accelerate, thus creating a stronger force in the punch.

Juin glared at Luca, who had jumped a few feet back, as he rubbed his sore arms wildly, surprised that the punch did not break his ulnas and radiuses. "That's cheating!"

"Cheating? The fight has begun a long time ago, yet you think that it's ok to daydream…" Luca scoffed as he rubbed his right fist in his left palm.

When Juin placed his arms down before he rubbed his skin off, his arms could not stop trembling from the pain.

The pain was causing his emotions to be slightly unstable as he created 10 balls of burning red flames around him. "Soul Fire!" Juin hissed as he pointed at Luca. "Go!"

The balls of flames seemed to burn even brighter as they shot toward Luca in a series.

Expressionless, Luca stood there as the 10 balls of flames headed toward him. His expression was as if the things that were heading toward him weren't balls of flames that could burn him to crisp but balls of cotton that would just bounce off his body.

When the balls of flames were half an inch away from Luca's body…

Poof!

Poof!

Poof!

A series of soft poofing sounds could be heard as the balls disappeared one after the other, leaving nothing that indicated that they existed once before.

And Luca was still in the same position that he was in earlier, and it did not seem that he even moved an inch since Juin started the attack. The only thing that was different on Luca was the smirk that was now on his face.

Some of the audiences gasped softly as they tried to figure out what had just happened.

"Did… you see him move?" someone from the spectator seats asked.

"N-No…" another person answered.

Meanwhile, at the special seats where Lann and Soren were sitting at…

"Ms. Lann," Soren said, "Do you think Master Luca will win?"

"Don't you believe in your master, Soren?" Lann asked with a smile as she kept her eyes on the battle in front of her.

"I do," Soren said with a solemn expression. "But we know nothing about that boy's power, so it's hard to say…"

"Ever since his defeat in Juin's hands, Luca has been training himself like a mad boy, creating and learning more spells in the last few months than what most people could in a lifetime… No matter what Juin has in his sleeve, Luca will be able to handle it, so don't worry about it," Lann said with a confident smile as she crossed her long, slim legs and leaned back in the chair. "Luca will definitely win."
