"That kid…" King Frederic looked on, fascinated by Luca's power. The tornado within the protective dome was so strong that the deafening noises caused by the tornado hitting the dome made it hard for one to speak at a normal volume.

King Frederic looked at President Presley, and after a while, he chuckled and said loudly, "Hey, Presley, why don't you just leave that Luca boy here after this? I'll take good care of him, and he can marry my daughter… He won't be ill-treated, I can promise you that."

Sure, Luca was a wind user, but that wasn't a bad thing. If he and Iris had descendants, one of them might inherit Luca's wind power in addition to the water power that every Atlantean was born with.

It would strengthen the country and make it easier for Terre D'eau to expand its influence and colonize other countries.

Just that thought made King Frederic smile in greed. It had always been his dream to conquer the whole of Atlantis, but his older brother, who was so complacent that he refused to build bigger troops, always ignored his advice, preferring to maintain the peace as it was.

"Father! There's no way I'm marrying any br--" Princess Iris protested as she stood up abruptly, but she quickly sat back down when her father shot her a warning glare. It wasn't that she wanted to sit down voluntarily, but the pressure that her father exerted on her made her knees buckle.

Even after her father looked away from her, she could still feel the pressure earlier, and her body responded by trembling slightly.

"Are you alright?" Crown Prince Renaud whispered to her ear as he patted his sister's hand. When Iris nodded, he added, "You know how father is. He hates to be undermined by anyone in public. You shouldn't spoken out the way you did."

Princess Iris' face turned red as she slowly nodded. Her father did not use to be like this… It was only after the passing of her and Renaud's mother that he started to change drastically, turning from a once loving father to a calculative man who care for naught but his position.

"So, what do you think?" King Frederic prompted President Presley again when the latter did not say anything.

President Presley laughed gracefully as he watched the tornado that was still moving in one spot inside the protective dome. "You can propose the idea to Luca, but I'm afraid that you might be disappointed," he said with a respectful nod as he looked at the king. "Luca can be headstrong…"

Based on the situation, Luca had the upper hand, and Juin seemed to be destined to lose against the wind user.

"Did I really get the wrong kid?" President Presley thought to himself as he kept his eyes on the raging tornado. The bearded man that was at the top of the tornado had disappeared from sight, no doubt currently in a battle against the teenager that he had captured. "Juin…"

The image of a magnificent man whose face was obscured appeared in President Presley's mind. He saw it in the house of a powerful Seer, who was haunted by the sight of the future that he could not help but draw the image of the "king" out. In the portrait, parts of the man's body as well as his face was covered by dark ink; even the man's weapon was obscured by the dark ink.

However, Presley clearly remembered that the man had two horns, one red eye, one blue eye, and that in the dark ink that covered his body and face, there were traces of red and blue. And the oddest part about the portrait was the chaotic background, which seemed to be a war scene.

Among others, there were ice arrows, bolts of electricity, raging flames, tsunami, and so on…

When Presley questioned the Seer, the latter refused to tell him. Instead, the Seer chose to end his life and protect the king that he knew naught by using a spell that completely destroy his own soul and body, until he was nothing but specks of dust.

But before he did so, the Seer had told Presley, "He would stop your evil plan, Vampire Prince from the Rift..."

The back of President Presley's left hand suddenly tingled, and he rubbed it subconsciously. The self-detonation of a powerful Seer would leave its mark on those closest to them when they activated such drastic spell.

And President Presley, who was in the room with the Seer then, did not manage to escape from the effect. The back of his left hand was cut by a shard as he escaped from the scene, and every time he thought about the king in the prophecy, it would tingle mysteriously, as if serving as a warning to him.

Instead of killing the king in the prophecy, he should have raised the king himself, and once the king was strong enough, he would manipulate the king to do his bidding… If he could not do so, he was sure that he could defeat the king himself and take over the king's power.

And right from the very beginning, President Presley had his suspicion on Juin being the rumored "king". While the prophecy about the king had been in the history of the supernatural beings from as early as 1200s, it was only in recent few hundred years that more and more Seers started to see more and more odd scenes, and these scenes got more and more vivid.

Then sixteen years ago, all the Seers that President Presley knew dreamed of the same thing, including James Thompson, the Seer who chose to give up his power later on after the birth of his daughter. And they all dreamed of a mysterious man enshrouded in a black fog, standing above all supernatural creatures.

From there, President Presley knew that the king had arrived on Earth, one way or another. And since then, he had been paying close attention to every odd supernatural happenings and recruiting those whose children showed signs of greatness.

That was why he tolerated Juin and accepted Juin's proposed conditions, as well as giving him one of the best Fire Elementalists in the Order. Age aside, all the mysterious things that happened around Juin had pushed him up in the ranks of possible candidates, surpassing even Luca and Wolfe Sterling, both of whom Presley had been paying close attention to.

However, if Juin could not survive this attack by Luca, then it meant that President Presley was wrong. In that case, there was no need to care about his life and death. But if Juin survived, then it meant that Presley could strengthen his suspicion further and conduct further testing.

Because of this, President Presley did not bother to try and do anything to save Juin. Juin had to prove himself… and to prove to Presley whether he would be the rumored king.
