The dragon was the only beast who was unaffected, and not because it was only a soul. It was because dragons and phoenixes were on the same level. It glanced at the Crown Prince, who was looking at the phoenixes, and using its power, it put a barrier around the Crown Prince.

"Huh?" Crown Prince Renaud looked down at his hand, and he could see the ripple of a translucent barrier. He then looked at the dragon and said, "This?"

"That kid is indeed a unique one… To be able to use a power of a phoenix, and one with such a strong aura to boot… He's either a direct descendent of a powerful phoenix, or the demon within him is a phoenix itself… Given the impure color of the phoenixes… Perhaps a demonic phoenix," the dragon said to Renaud solemnly.

The dragon had seen a few phoenixes in its long lifetime, but the last time he saw one was more than hundred thousand years ago, and that was a phoenix from a different dimension.

"Can you win?" Renaud murmured as he stared at the phoenixes surrounding Juin. This was the first time he saw a phoenix outside of books and drawings, and they were even more beautiful than he thought. "We don't have much time."

"Just sit still and let them kill each other…" the dragon said in a lazy manner as it coiled itself around the prince protectively.

Luca's eyes widened when he saw Juin bring out those arrows and bow, and he, like everyone else, could feel the aura and strength of those arrows.

"If I were hit by even one of it, I'd be obliterated immediately…" Luca thought to himself as he formed a spell diagram in his Soul Dimension. He wanted to call upon one of the wind gods, but in the end, he decided to use his soul power instead. After what happened to Boreas, he was a little worried about unleashing other gods on Juin.

Luca's brown hair flew around as he threw out his hands. Two diagrams with purple silhouettes appeared on his hands. Tiny tornadoes appeared on his palms and grew until they hit the protective dome above them, before spreading out along the dome until they covered the whole of the dome.

Luca then pushed his palms forward slightly, upon which the tornadoes moved forward smoothly, falling onto the ground.

"Rings of Wind…" Luca mumbled as the air pressure around him increased suddenly. When the two tornadoes landed on the stage below…

BAM!

BAM!

Two deep fissures were created on the battle stage where the violently rotating columns of air landed, breaking off more small and sharp fragments that were now moving around the columns of air.

The two columns of air were aptly named, for the wind generated around it seemed to create ring-like afterimages.

"Air Pressure Manipulation…" Luca mumbled as he placed his hand out on his side, palm facing downward. The purple diagrams, which were now under his palms, flashed brightly as they shifted into different diagrams.

The two columns of violent air moved even faster, and not only could the fragments that broke off from the battle stage hurt one badly should it hit a person, but even the air around those fragments had the power to cut through things.

"This…" Presley's attention was now on Luca.

"Are they more… solid?" Tucker thought as he looked at the tornadoes. At this moment, the two teenagers had attracted everyone's attention. No one could have foreseen them to have such strength at their age.

However, Tucker wasn't worried for Juin's safety this time. He was only curious about Luca's power. Afterall, he could tell that Luca's tornadoes, while strong, were still of a lower rank than Juin's Phoenix Arrows.

"But…" There was just one issue. Unlike Juin, who was normal, as an Elementalist, as well as being the one heavily favored by the gods, Luca required much less soul power whenever he used his wind spells.

And this could be seen clearly by the fact that Juin's expression had turned slightly pale.

"I never like you…" Luca suddenly said loudly as he narrowed his eyes on Juin.

"Me neither!" Juin replied as he placed the arrows on the bow and aimed it at Luca.

And at the same time, they sent their attacks toward each other.

When Luca sent the two columns of deadly air over to Juin, the columns moved in zigzag, completely destroying everything in their paths, before converging into one that threatened to tear one's body into a million pieces.

The sound itself was already painful enough, even to those who were seated outside the protective dome, and they had to cover their ears as they anticipated the coming collision. Most of them had already fully activated, and enhanced, their soul shields just in case the collision would create damaging effects on their senses.

"So cool…" Princess Iris' eyes glowed brightly as she watched Juin. His posture, his strength… It took her all she could to not get on her knees and beg her father to ask for his hand in marriage.

Had it not been for the chill generated by Luca's tornadoes, as well as the unique water-air atmosphere, the temperature inside the dome would have been equivalent to a furnace.

"AHHH!!!!" Juin roared as he released the flaming arrows.

The moment the arrows left his fingers and the bow, the three phoenixes darted along the trajectories of the arrows that were moving at an incredible speed, to the point that it was almost impossible for the n.a.k.e.d eye to follow their movements closely.

The arrows were getting closer to each other, whereas the three phoenixes had converged to form into one larger and even more magnificent phoenix. The phoenix's body left a flaming crimson afterimage behind, burning deeply into the minds of those who were lucky enough to see it.
