After a brief introduction, the prince took them to the palace. As they walked toward an unknown destination, the Crown Prince of Wisterion said, "Do you know that Wisterion used to be the biggest kingdom?"

The boys and Juin, who was carrying the unconscious and tied-up Cyrus on his back, glanced at each other.

Without waiting for anyone's reply, he added, "It was a long, long time ago. At that time, our kingdom's reach included this place as well. Of course, back then, this was just a desolate place and Terre D'eau didn't exist. Who knew that with the passing of time, the great kingdom of Wisterion could be reduced to such a small kingdom."

There was an awkward silence until Luca said, "But the Kingdom of Wisterion is still a fearsome one. Otherwise, it would have swallowed by the other kingdoms."

The Crown Prince glanced back at him and smirked. "Yeah, we are a fearsome kingdom. But like every other kingdom that has been existing for a long time, we are rotting from the inside."

Before any of them could ask a follow-up question, Master Shawn, who had been walking in the front, said, "We are here."

He then signaled the only other two Water Hunters that he brought with him to open the door to the royal library. Once they walked in, he told the two Water Hunters, "Stay here and guard the door. No one is to come in."

He then closed and locked the door behind him. Taking out a map, he then continued to lead the group.

"Where are you taking us, Your Highness?" Luca asked.

"Just call me Warrick," the Crown Prince said. "I'm not a prince of this country."

"Warrick," Juin, who had remained silent all this time, asked, "Where's Cecile?"

The Crown Prince, who was walking in front of the three boys, stopped, and turned back. "Why do you ask?" he asked before walking again.

"The allegations weren't allegations, right? Cecile and you are in this together," Juin said.

"What makes you think I would pair myself off with the disposed princess?" the Crown Prince asked as he stopped right in front of an empty area in the middle of the room, with bookcases surrounding it in a circular form. In the middle of the tiled floor was the emblem of the royal family of Terre D'eau.

And the eyes of the heavily bearded man that was the focus of the emblem seemed to be staring at them, demanding to know why these strangers were in this place.

Staring at the bearded man's eyes, Juin murmured, "Everything fell too neatly into place. It's too much of a coincidence. Your arrival, the explosions, the evacuation of the entire city that allowed your people to sneak in and conquer the city easily without meeting any resistance… Plus Cyrus was supposed to be guarding the royal jail, so you would have found him there. The princess should be there as well… So, where is she?"

"You didn't think that she could have been killed by the old fart?" the Crown Prince asked with a brow raised. "I could have arrived late. I mean, your battle with the lovelorn Renaud was quite a spectacular view."

"Cyrus would have saved her, or he would have done his best to fend off the attackers. But there's no wound or even any sort of dust or dirt on him," Juin said, glancing at Cyrus' face briefly. "That means that he didn't even fight at all. He was knocked out before he could even make a move. The king, even if he wanted to kill the princess, would never do something as reckless as blowing up the entire royal prison. After all, there were other people in the royal prison, people who he could have used for future purposes."

He then gave Cyrus to Wolfe before saying to the Crown Prince, "And I suspect the reason Cyrus was knocked out was due to the explosion."

"You, or your people, probably set up explosives in or around the royal jail. To avoid being found out, you must have cast some spell on it to prevent anyone from finding it out, which means that Cyrus couldn't avoid it at all."

The Crown Prince smiled. "Smart… But you missed out on something."

"It's not you," Luca said in a calm voice. "It's the princess who planned everything."

Luca's words made the Crown Prince laugh out loud.

"I can see why you managed to win the Elimination Battle," the Crown Prince said.

Luca thought about it for a while before saying, "It's easy. You are a foreigner, you wouldn't have known where to bury those explosives. In addition, your people wouldn't have been able to move around the royal jail without avoiding any attention. You could pay for someone to do this, but the risk of failure is too high. If you could pay someone, someone else could also do the same. So… The only ones who could get near the royal jail are the royal guards and the servants."

From there, Juin connected the rest of the dots and added, "And the servants used were the slaves. The royal guards would think of them as weak, powerless individuals, thus they would treat them as invisible."

Luca glanced at Juin, slightly surprised that Juin could think as far as him. After all, he had always thought of Juin as an idiot who got lucky.

Hearing their words, Crown Prince Warrick could not help but laugh, but he did not say anything about it nor confirm their speculation.

He then stood up and pushed the bookcase aside. The bookcase that was built from the ground to almost reaching the ceiling was easily moved to the side, as if it weighed nothing.

Master Shawn then found a lever underneath the tile that was hidden underneath the bookcase. He then pulled out a small trinket from his pocket, conjured a spell diagram using the trinket, and lowered it down on the lever before pulling it, upon which the floor with the Terre D'eau's royal family emblem on it, which was in the middle of the library, opened up in thousand pieces, revealing a hidden floorboard underneath that had a huge spell diagram on it.

"Do you boys know what is this?" the Crown Prince asked.

Obviously, none of the boys knew, so the Crown Prince said, "This is a Teleportation spell diagram. And the thing that Princess Cecile hated the most."

"Why?" Juin asked.

"Because this was how Frederic managed to kill his brother," the Crown Prince said with a wry grin. "Among the royals, no matter which kingdom one comes from, the fight for the throne has always been the same; cruel and one that disregards things like kinship."

"The previous king and queen were away when they died suddenly," Luca said with a frown. "I have always found it weird, given that King Adam was strong enough to protect himself. For him to be assassinated so easily… Something must have gone wrong somewhere."

"He was made helpless…" Juin realized something. No matter how powerful someone was, there must be something that could make him or her weak. And in King Adam's case, there were at least three living persons at that time that could be used against him. "Am I right?"
