Tucker thought for a while before giving him a shrug. "No idea. Theoretically, an immortal weapon requires death. And not just any death. As the highest-ranking weapon, an immortal sword would require the death of either a powerful being or even tens of powerful beings. Some would need to be forged in blood, while others become immortal through killings…"

Juin thought for a while before asking again, activating a small area of Silence, "How strong is my dagger?"

Tucker gave Presley a quick glance before lowering his voice. "Your dagger is Rank S, just one rank below immortal, but I believe it wouldn't be long before it turns into an immortal weapon."

Raising a brow, Juin gave him a curious glance. "Why do you say so?"

"Your dagger has a soul in it. Even if the soul wasn't a natural-born soul and was inserted into the dagger by a spell, activable only in the event of a specific trigger, it still meant that the dagger was strong enough to carry a soul. The soul would slowly feed the dagger, and once you kill enough living beings with the dagger, it would develop a soul of its own."

"A weapon with a soul…" Juin mumbled. He then thought of the Sword of the Daemon King. That sword had a soul in it too. A dragon no less. 'Does that mean that I'm in possession of an immortal weapon?' he thought as he watched the merge of the fan and the whip. His right hand subconsciously pressed into his left palm, where his Dimensional Pouch was placed at.

BOOM!

An explosion of light and sound suddenly happened in midair. Thankfully, Presley had prepared for all sorts of outcomes and had enveloped everyone in a shield the moment he noticed something wasn't right.

"What happened?" Wolfe asked loudly as he rubbed his ears. Blood was leaking out of both his ears. All he could see was the bright white light before his ears were ȧssaulted by the loud noise, so he did not manage to put on a shield. It didn't help that he was wearing his earphones.

Once the dust settled, everyone looked at the point of explosion, and they saw the folding fan while the whip was nowhere to be seen.

"Shadowmoon!" Luca gasped out in heartache when he realized what had happened. "No!"

"No…" Lann muttered in shock as she stumbled back slightly.

Tucker immediately held her and whispered, "Hey, it's alright…"

"Luca, wait!" Presley said as he narrowed his eyes at the floating fan. "Maybe this is a good thing…"

He made Luca look at the folding fan.

Luca frowned as he stared at the newly transformed fan. "Shadowmoon!" He reached out his hand, upon which the folding fan dashed towards him. As he closed and open the fan, a small smile slowly appeared on his face. He could feel the strength of the fan, and a huge part of him wanted to fan something just to try out its strength.

If he had seen Lann's pained expression at the moment, perhaps he would not have looked so gleeful. But at the moment, he was acting like a boy his age who had just gotten his hands on a new toy.

"I didn't expect the Eightwind Fan to be this strong. The Elysium family would flip once they found out about this," Mr. Sterling said with an amused expression.

"Someone must have cast a spell to hide the fan's true power…" Presley agreed as he nodded. His eyes landed on the folding fan in Luca's hand as he sighed inwardly, regretting that he did not realize it sooner.

"It's Shadow Wind now," Luca said with a smirk as he kept the fan in his Dimensional Pouch. "And I don't care about the Elysium family."

"It's too bad my son's ability is sorely limited," Mr. Sterling said as he glared at his son, who promptly looked away. Wolfe chose his weapon, but it was just a pair of black gauntlets that could raise his strength. Before Wolfe learned how to fully control his Soul Power, most weapons would be useless to him.

If not because this battle would be Wolfe's last chance to participate, Mr. Sterling would not have pushed him to go for it. Of course he loved his weakest son, but as a werewolf, Wolfe had to learn to grow. His parents and his older brother would not always be there for him, neither would his younger siblings.

With a sigh, Mr. Sterling then said to Luca, "I will have to rely on you and young Juin there to bring him back."

Luca shrugged. "That depends on his own behavior, sir."

"Enough," Presley said with a polite smile as he shook his head. He then looked at Juin and signaled him to come forward. "That was a nice surprise, but now, Juin, it's your turn to choose."

Juin stepped forward, but when he looked at the weapons lying on the table, he did not feel any affinity with them. After a while, with a forehead that was creased with deep frown lines, he gave up and threw his hands up. "I can't… I really don't feel anything with these weapons."

"Wait!" Wolfe suddenly called out from the ŀȧptop. A few seconds later, Juin's phone rang, and when he saw Wolfe's number on the screen, he raised a brow at the boy who signaled him to answer it.

"Err, yes?" Juin answered it after taking a few steps away from everyone else.

"One sec…" Wolfe muted himself on the video call and went to another room, where it was heavily padded, to avoid his father from listening in. "You need to choose something."

"But I don't know which one to choose…" Juin whispered into the phone.

"Just get something. It doesn't matter what. Even if you don't use it, you saw what you could do with it. You can always merge it with another weapon later on. Or sell it! These are offered by the Elysium family. They aren't any Tom, Dick, and Harry's weapons. These would be worth quite some sum!"

"That's true… Alright then…" Juin said, ending the call and walking back to the table. He gave the weapons one last glance before reaching out for one of them. "I'll take this one then."
