Chapter 147

While he was out, Wu Zhiyun called out the young miss.

The young miss’s tone was as it should be what was expected. “If he wants to produce a song, of course, it should be released. You go contact the music department and find the best production team.”

Wu Zhiyun hesitated and asked, “What about the copyright issue?”

Xu Zhaixing explained, “According to the contract, all rights will be given to him we’ll only take 20% of the profit commission.”

Wu Zhiyun: “…this seems more like charity. Otherwise, you might as well not take the 20%.”

“How could I do that?” Xu Zhaixing, holding the phone with her neck as she brewed coffee responded. “If we don’t take anything, it’ll raise suspicions.”

Wu Zhiyun agreed, “You’re right, I’ll take him to the company tomorrow.”

Thus, the next day Xu Zhaixing appeared at Chenxing wearing overalls and dressed like a simple college girl.

The young miss usually arrived at the company in a delicate and formal style, claiming it was to intimidate people and yet now she suddenly reverting to a cute little sister she once was and making everyone uncomfortable for a while.

Xu Zhaixing, on the other hand, paid no heed to them and happily made her way to the thirteenth floor to buy coffee.

She hadn’t seen Cen Feng for a while, and despite now being friends with her idol (?), she still adhered to the fans’ principle of not disturbing or crossing boundaries. Apart from necessary workplace occasions, she rarely used her status to find him in private.

Even when Cen Feng left the country, she asked You Tao not to disclose his whereabouts. She was afraid that if she couldn’t hold back, she would run over to create a chance encounter.

Alas, her yearning grew stronger, so she devoted herself to work when lovesick, attempting to push thoughts of his aside.

Her idol loves his coffee sweet, so right now Xu Zhaixing debated between more sugar or less sugar, but in the end decided to choose less sugar for the sake of his health.

At that moment, Cen Feng, wearing a hat and mask, stepped out of the elevator into the music department when he spotted the little girl he hadn’t seen for a long time, leaning against the wall with a cup of coffee and yawning from boredom.

Halfway through the yawn, she halted upon seeing him, her eyes glistening with tears as she sprung up to him like a little rabbit. “Brother! I bought you coffee!”

Wu Zhiyun emerged from behind, and Xu Zhaixing greeted him with a smile, “Hello, Uncle Wu.”

Wu Zhiyun rubbed his nose uncomfortably and told to Cen Feng, “Brother An will arrive shortly. You two can chat while head to the conference room.”

With that, he boarded the elevator again and departed.

Cen Feng gazed at the smiling little girl before him, his heart melting. He lifted his coffee, took a sip, then raised his eyebrows teasingly. “No sugar this time?”

“Brother, you should cut down on sugar. It’s not good for your health.” Xu Zhaixing pursed her lips as she advised with goodwill in her tone.

A warmth filled Cen Feng’s eyes and he played along. “Hmm, then let’s drink coffee with this sweetness from now on.”

She nodded happily.
