The people with Luo Ge hastily pulled him away. Nobody would be able to endure this kind of terror and they had shamed themselves back to their nanny’s house1 while the surroundings were livened up by cheers; for this person, the throwing knives had been nothing more than child’s play.

Lan Di had to invite Zou Liang for a good round of drinks; were it not for his intervention today, Lan Di would would no longer have been able to lift his head again. Who could have imagined that a priest could play with a knife to such a degree of skill?

“Ya Se, teach me how to play with the knife! I can even hail you as my master!” Lan Di said requested, full of seriousness.

“You mustn’t, you absolutely mustn’t. I only know this flowery technique, but if you want to learn I can teach you some variations. Truthfully, if that guy had used his Beast Spirit Transformation, I would not have been able to do anything.”

Ke Te and Lan Di clearly did not believe him. This priest in training was just pretending to be ordinary in order to eat the Tai Ge2.

“Many thanks, then!” Lan Di bared his teeth in joy.

“Bootlicker, it’s the first time your bootlicking has been used correctly. Ya Se, it’s really a waste if you don’t go and become a Shadow Hunter.”

“Hehe, the Bi Er’s body type isn’t suited for being a Shadow Hunter; in the long-term, being an Engraving Priest still has higher future prospects.” Zou Liang cheerily smiled. Drinking free wine with the addition of these pretty beast tribe girls casting flirtatious glances his way made his heart exceedingly happy.

Everyone could only nod. Although Ya Se’s knifeplay was not something one could critique, an occupation was not only about the present; a person needed to see five years or even ten years into the future to see the growth that would occur throughout that time. After those years Ya Se’s body type would show itself as crude and unsuited for the occupation of a Shadow Hunter, while the occupation of a Spirit Priest, on the other hand, was even more noble and safe.

Ke Te admired Ai Wei Er’s insight more and more. This Ya Se’s abilities were not just far from ordinary, but he could also judge things calmly; if he were to be honest, Ya Se did not fit the Bi Er’s character at all.

Ou Nisi Te to the side put a lot of effort into wildly eating. To him, those sexually3 attractive girls were not as appealing as meat, and he did not think too much about the admiration the people were holding towards his brother, either. Wasn’t this kind of outcome normal? The late old man had always said that his older brother an exceptional person!

“Would this hero care to gift me a drink?” a sexy, charming voice drew close. Just hearing it would be enough to make people feel limp and numb.

A sexy leopard maiden came over to their table. Of the beastmen, the Lai Bote tribe women were known to have the most beautiful and slender legs in all the Among De Beast God continent.

Perhaps it was because of the alcohol that Zou Liang had some interest. This girl before him was clothed in a sexy manner to show off her two legs, but because of her body language4 Zou Liang was not stupid enough to treat her like just another drinking partner.

“Most beautiful, another jar of the best alcohol for this table!”

“Not a problem, I can do a jar of good alcohol!” the boss replied, demonstrating the beast tribes’ favour towards the brave by offering the victor such excellent treatment.

The s*x appeal of a Lai Bote beauty was widely recognised. “You’re a priest?” she asked, her eyes glancing at Zou Liang in a provocative manner.

Zou Liang in fact had the heart of a wolf but the courage of a rabbit; he had a lot of “experience” in this area, but had zero in the practical sense. He would definitely not feel stage fright when he responded, “Ye Lu Samo priest in training.”

“Oh? Your dagger play is pretty good. Are you able to teach me?” The leopard tribe had numerous Shadow Hunters and all Shadow Hunters would be moved when they saw such skill, to say nothing of the conflicted feelings they would have upon realising the other party was an occupationless priest.

The beauty had asked him with extreme s****l enticement and Zou Liang’s gaze could not resist skimming along her bottom where her concealing art was weakest. Passing the obstacle of beautiful women was a difficult task for heroes.

It was even more difficult for Zou Liang who had not even affiliated himself as a hero. In fact, it didn’t matter what world he was in, he would not be an expert in refusing a woman’s advances; though he had many female friends, no girlfriend could be found at his side.

Before Zou Liang could even agree, a handsome Fu Ke Si walked over with an ugly expression on his face. “Little Na, what are you trying to learn that impractical showboating for? I’ll tell uncle when I get back to pass down a few Shadow Hunter Guild techniques to you!”

The Fu Ke Si youth was also in priest attire, but he was not one in training and was instead an authentic priest. Even though it was only one grade of difference in the system used by the temple, to be promoted from a priest in training to a full-fledged priest required not only enough time of service but also a prestigious enough background and some supporters. Even Zou Liang’s large contribution hadn’t brought news of a promotion from Tuo Ma Si, though this was because the reward he’d received had already been large enough; Tuo Ma Si was afraid of spoiling him.

Ji Na’s (Jī Nà) expression was not very good either as she replied. “Luo Sibo (Luó Sībó), could you not follow me? There are many people here, so go wherever you like to go!”

“Little Na, your father told me to attend to you. There are many villains on the outside, and even more s*x fiends; I can’t not keep an eye on you. Besides, we are engaged….”

“That was my father’s decision, so go and marry my father!”

Zou Liang could not hold in his laughter anymore after seeing that this place still had such a thing as arranged marriages. The beast tribes’ customs had yet to be improved.

“What are you laughing at? You, stand up!” Luo Sibo commanded. Though he did not dare to offend this beautiful woman, this did not mean he did not dare to offend others.

“Why do I need to stand up?” Zou Liang cheerily inquired. It was a strange thing that after coming to this place, the angrier another person was the less angry he himself became.

Luo Sibo gave a self-satisfied smile. “Do you know that a priest in training must salute a priest? Not only that, but I am one of the top ten most outstanding priests in the holy province this year!”

…… F**k, this was possible? How could he even be close to the outstanding youths’ top ten?

In this kind of crucial moment, Lan Di—considering Ya Se as a brother that he would share life and death with—came to his aid, “Luo Sibo, your merits are probably from your Head Priest uncle.”

Luo Sibo seemed as though he didn’t mind this at all; in fact, he was actually very pleased and would be concerned if others didn’t know. Luo Sibo’s uncle was the Head Priest of the second holy city and part of the leadership of the holy province. His uncle even possessed enough influence that it was reported he had the qualifications to become a Shaman, and even if he was to fail he was still a well-reputed, highly influential character of the holy province; even Shaman Sibalu had to give him some face.

Since this Head Priest did not have any heirs himself, he treated the nephew like the treasure of his heart and Luo Sibo had been registered as a priest in training during his youth. It was a rare sight to see a priest who was not even yet twenty years of age in the holy province.

“Do I have to salute?” Zou Liang quietly asked Lan Di.

Lan Di was puzzled since this was not something that fighting could resolve. The problems of other occupations would be easy to resolve since competitiveness between territories was very strong and each city was not attached to each other in any way. For the temple, however, they were all considered the Beast God’s servants and bound by a strict hierarchy.

“Hurry and salute me, else I will make you unfit to wear the gown of a priest in training any longer!” Luo Sibo happily demanded, glancing at Ji Na in a pleased manner. The people that attended to the front lines were inferiors waiting to be killed; only the priests had any real nobility.

“Luo Sibo, don’t be too excessive!” Ji Na spoke in anger.

“If you follow me back, I’ll let him go,” Luo Sibo replied under his breath.

Zou Liang stood up, however Ke Te—unable to resist himself—immediately interrupted, “Ya Se, this is their affair; you don’t need to get involved.”

Zou Liang very elegantly waved his hand. “This one has never seen a person force a girl. Don’t you know that you have to salute someone with this?”

Zou Liang flipped his collar. On it was pinned a very glamourous medal, and immediately the once-lively pub all quieted down.

Not only Luo Sibo, but even the expressionless Patelisi rubbed his eyes.

The Beast God’s Medal of Honor!!!

The act of receiving shame in Chinese is “throw”, thus they were thrown to their nanny’s home.  Luna Note: He’s pretending to be “normal” in order to take advantage of people who let their guard down.  Censored  Censored, so I tried my best
