Ares told his wife to explain Edmond everything about her and whatever she need to explain inside and outside the house and the medicine she drinks daily also the things she need on her asthma. Athena gave him her schedule on her own concert and her rehearsal appointments.
Ares is having a sparring with his daughter inside the gym. Ares didn't take their fight serious and his defenses because he is exhausted. It's been one hour since they start without any breaking but she's still energetic.
"C'mon daddy!" She shouts furrowing. "You are so lame!"
"I am tired..." He said and he lay on the floor. Her eyebrow meets and she kicked his knee.
"Ah!" Ares shouts closing his eyes hard.
"I hate you." She mumbles walking out the gym. She meet the young man outside but she ignored him because she is so annoyed to her father.
"Gia," Ares calls.
"You are such a loser!" She shouts all over the floor.
"Okay, since today we are going back to Baguio you need to move here in house to guard her."
"Crystal clear." Edmond smiled wide thinking that he is going see her every minute or hour.
"I know how to be in love but you should know your limitations."
"Yes sir." He nods.
After she takes Prince in bath, she also takes a bath to get ready for their lunch with her parents. When she arrived in the dining room the foods are ready also her parents are settled in the table.
"Hi sweetie!" Ares smiled at Gia. She rolled her eyes and ignored him. She sat next to her mother. "Join us." Ares told Edmond. Edmond sat on the other side of the table in front of Gia. Gia stare at him for a while that make him uncomfortable.
"So you're my new body guard?" she questioned. He looked at her directly to her eyes. She has beautiful crytal-like eyes. He thought.
"Yes, Milady. Wilford at your service."
"Wilford? A family name?" She asked.
"Yes." He answered. She nods and picks the spoon and fork.
"Vitoria, since your siblings are in DIA and your father and I are going to be in Baguio for the student's training, he will be with you wherever you are." Athena explained.
"Yeah sure..." She said and cut the roast beef in her plate in tiny pieces. "When are you going back?"
"Just right before your concert in Philippine Arena." Her father answered.
"And about your debut we already had hired person's to design on your party." Athena said.
"Is it necessary?" She asked.
"It's your 18th birthday. It's important because it is just once in the life time."
"From age 1 to 17 it is also once in a life time right?"
"Yes but being 18 is different, you are going to be a young adult."
"Whatever." She shook her head. Edmond just watched her while eating. Athena can't help to draw a smile because of her daughter.
When her parents said their goodbyes and had gone to their work. She immediately rushed to her room and pack up some things.
"Gia?" Edmond calls. The door open unexpectedly and he peeks inside. She is packing some things and getting ready. "What are you doing?"
"You should get ready yourself too, we are leaving." She winked. He blinked trice leaving him clueless and still sinking her words. She's adventurous and hard headed. He thought to himself. "Then after a few things we are going to PAC for my rehearsal."
"But..." He stammers.
"No buts Wilford just get your things ready." She said.
"Are you really a control freak?" He asked bluntly.
"Yeah. So do what I say."
If she only knows whom she is talking to. She's bit annoying yet I love her.
"Yes Princess." He said closing the door.
Edmond put their things inside the trunk of their car. Prince is in front of the car watching them while his tail is wiggling. The dog whimpers and making a cute face like he's going to cry.
"Are you going with us, Prince?" He asked. The dog barks twice. He doesn't know if it means YES or NO.
"It means no, but he wants to go with us." Gia said throwing another bag inside the back seat. "Sorry, Prince but you're staying." The dog whines at her like he's crying. "No Prince we will be in dangerous adventure. I don't want to get you in trouble." The dog whimpers and covered his forefoot's wrist on his eyes like crying. Edmond was amused on the dog.
"Why don't we let him go with us? Look, Prince is crying." Edmond said. Gia sighed. She knows what her dog feels. "C'mon Prince." Edmond invites him and walks to the front passenger seat beside the driver's seat opening the door. The dog runs and hopped on the seat. Gia sighed again and calls the maid to get his food snacks and dog foods and some clothes of Prince. Yes he got clothes and things.
Edmond drives to Tagaytay while Prince is sitting on the passenger seat with a seatbelt and shades. Gia calls her employees to get ready her sports car and their accommodation.
"Check it all including the tires and the engine, also the brake."
"Yes Miss Vitoria."
"And don't forget to give them some good luck for me."
"Already, Miss. We had reserved two rooms for your stay in here."
"Thank you." And she ended the call.
"Vitoria, I was just wondering, who are those men who are about to kidnapped you?" He asked.
"They are just acquaintance of mine. Someone tried to lock me somewhere for me not to be in my concert." She said meeting his wide hazel eyes.
"Why?"
"I don't know... Insecurities, perhaps."
He just nods and keeps driving. She concentrates reading on the contract. He glanced at her every time and he loves watching her busy on something. That reminds him on how he stalk her when she was just young, for him to make sure that no one will try to marry her but him.
