The ladies arrived at the grand looking mansion. It was a large mansion with a garden, a fountain at the centre of the entrance and a swing on the furthest left side.
Sera was in awe by the beauty of the mansion, walking inside she was shocked to see a large crowd with familiar faces. It was a large scale event and almost all the famous personalities were present in the large room.
Sera was dressed in a modest looking white flowy dress with pearls and beads encrusted on the dress. Sera liked to wear little to no jewelry, she was not a fan of chunky or heavy jewelry pieces. Her hair was pulled up into a sleek pony and she looked mesmerizing, like a snow goddess.
Heads turned when Sera walked in through the crowd and made her way to the centre, standing opposite to the stage.
Zhang Lili, young miss of Zhang estate and the top socialite of the city was green with envy when all the eyes were on the beautiful and enchanting Sera.
Sera was dressed beautifully and carried herself gracefully, her face was clean with no heavy makeup her lips were tinted red and eyes glowed with light in them, So she naturally stood out from the crowd.
Zhang Lili was a very proud person and given her personality she was not at all happy with the outcome of Sera's appearance. Her appearance had pushed Lili in the dark and all attention was taken from her. She felt like Sera had stepped all over her and she found herself hating Sera without even knowing her identity.
"Who is this girl, I've never seen her before. What if Ethan takes a liking to her. No I can't let that happen, She has already managed to capture everyone's attention I can't let her take away Ethan from me", Zhang Lili was furious and was thinking of ways to eradicate her potential love rival.

A beautiful lady wearing a purple qipao with golden embroidery and slightly white hairs was seen walking down the stairs and everyone's attention was locked by this powerful entry.
Madam Lee, Sophia Lee was the matriarch of the Lee household and Anna Lu's best friend.
Anna Lu and Sophia Lee were childhood best friends, circumstances had forced them to go separate ways.
Years later when Anna married into the Lu family, she was reunited with her long lost friend. Anna's husband was business partners with Sophia's and thus they became closer than before.

"I welcome everyone present here, Thank you for attending this banquet please make yourself comfortable and enjoy yourselves", with a brief introduction the banquet commenced.

"Happy Birthday Sophia, May you live a long and happy life", after wishing her friend Anna gave her gift and stepped back.
"Thank you Anna Lu", Sophia gracefully accepted the gift and handed it over to her assistant.
"Happy Birthday Madam Lee, May you live a prosperous and happy life", wished Lu Shanshan and handed her gift.
Mr.Lu and Lu Jinan were also present there, they wished the lady at presented their gifts.
