The phone on the bedside table was ringing constantly before a slender hand reached out groaning in sleep, searching for the source of nuisance.
"Hello..", a hoarse sluggish voice was heard as the ringing ceased.
"Hey! You, still sleeping?", Su Yin inquired quirking her brow from the other side packing up her stuff.
"Uh-huh! Yinyin.. Why aren't you sleeping peacefully instead of ruining my sleep?", Sera whined sitting up straight with her messy bed hair.
"I'm coming back dumbo!! Pick me up at sharp 4 in the evening..", she trailed off, folding a pretty pink cashmere sweater.
"Oh! Okay.. Love you! Bye..", she hung up in a hurry without letting her respond before throwing back the phone beside her bed.
With her eyes still half-closed she looked at the time. It was half past nine right now.
She started stretching lazily, cocking her head to either sides. She remembered that there were no meetings for her to attend today since Xia Ruo Lan was injured. It was too boring without Su Yin by her side and no work to do.
"I don't have her number..", she mumbled looking out through the balcony. The tree leaves were swaying with cool breeze entering through the curtains.
It completely slipped from her mind and even Ethan didn't bother giving her Xia Ruo Lan's number.
She mentally made a note to call Ethan later and retrieve Xia Ruo Lan's number to ask about her ankle and other important things.
Sera absentmindedly started combing her tousled hair with her fingers. All of a sudden her eyes shot open and she stood up with a start.
"Lucifer!", she squeaked in a loud voice.
Darting her eyes all around the room Sera started searching for Lucifer.
She had such a good sleep last night after a long time, her head was so light and she felt so energized.
Alas, in all that she forgot about Lucifer. Pouting, she went to the bathroom with a sad face. Feeling a bit guilty for forgetting the most important person amongst other irrelevant things.

"Oh My God!!", she whispered. Her voice was choked in her throat as tears were threatening to fall from her eyes.
"I'll miss you loads.. You should miss me too!"
Lucifer had handwritten this on her bathroom's mirror with her red lipstick followed by a flirty wink and a blazing red heart. The sight was enough to melt her heart.
Sera had been so insensitive while Lucifer had already predicted that she would feel disheartened after not seeing him the first thing after waking up. Thus all this effort to make her smile.
Her heavy-heart from all the remorse was washed out from his love for her as she smiled brightly with tears in her eyes.
"Lucifer.. Why, you?", she mumbled biting her lower lip.
She was feeling so happy and so loved right now that her heart was swelling just like the tears welling up in her eyes.

A groggy Sera stirred in her sleep raising her hand, a light slap landed on Lucifer's face and the man jerked awake by the small stinging on his cheek.

Lifting his heavy eyelids he glimpsed at her sleeping face nuzzling against his shoulder. A gush of warmth surged in his chest as he vowed in his heart to always protect the calm and beatific expression on her face.
"Morning milady!", his hoarse sexy vibrato resounded.
Stroking her face and brushing the stray hair behind her ear followed by a chaste kiss his deep gaze lingered on her pink cheeks.
As though it was a natural response to his gestures Sera smiled looking adorable as a doll but still sleeping.
Low chuckle echoed in the room along with the cool and fresh breezy air. Slowly moving her body off him, he slipped out of covers and went to freshen up.
It was roughly six in the morning. The whole Lu mansion was soundless with just a couple of servants running around doing their chores paying no mind to other things.
Coming out of the bathroom he smiled faintly, flashes of her brilliantly smiling face surfaced through his eyes as he thought about the little surprise. He pressed a kiss on her forehead filled with longing.
After washing up Lucifer left quietly albeit a little reluctant. He had to go back and settle some things.
"Hello Ad..", Lucifer called Adrian on the way out of Lu mansion's gates.
"I'm fine.. Just, something important!", he paused before turning back to look at Sera's balcony as he spoke curling his lips in content.
"I'll be in my home.. Oh! Okay.. I'll be there!", he said opening his car door.
Lucifer wanted to change his clothes and tidy up before meeting Adrian. Coincidentally this blue eyed brother of his was already present at his penthouse waiting for him.
Adrian was so worried that he had spent a sleepless night yesterday.
Lucifer just disappeared without a word after working around the clock for two whole days which was rather odd.. Thus Adrian couldn't be at ease with Su Yin still at the back of his mind, he was a mess.
