As soon as Sera stepped into her room, exhaustion took over her petite body and she fell on the fluffy bed. It was soft, and comfortable hugging her to sleep. Within seconds her eyes fluttered close.
After taking a short nap of nearly an hour and a half, Sera was startled awake by a series of soft sounding knocks as well as the sound of her door bell chiming a tune.
"Uhm? Is it time already?"
Sitting up groggily, Sera stretched her neck and shoulders while mumbling to herself in doubt. She squinted her eyes looking at the clock in the room.
Seeing that there was still time, a confused Sera slowly dragged her feet and opened the door. She was greeted by a young girl in the hotel staff's uniform smiling at her.
Muddled up by the girl's appearance out of nowhere, and still sleepy, Sera quizzed with a raspy voice. She could feel an itch in her throat. Especially after talking plenty to all the guests at the event, her throat was as dry as the desert.
"Yes?"
Stepping back, Sera picked up the sealed water bottle on the small cabinet beside the door. She uncapped it, and gulped down more than half of it's contents in seconds.
Eyeing Sera as she drank like she was thirsty from centuries, the girl simply smiled and politely said.
"Sorry for the intrusion Ma'am. I apologize for the disturbance.. You have a delivery. This, it was sent to your room by a gentleman, please.."
She was holding a silver tray, on it was a small black envelope with gold and silver engravings and one velvet box with similar design.
Recieving the tray, Sera didn't think much as she thought of Lu Jinan as the probable gentleman the girl was talking about. She kept the tray on the cabinet.
"Oh! Okay, thank you.."
Standing upright, the girl asked with a genial smile plastered across her clean face. Her age probably same as Sera's, or even lesser.
"Do you need anything else, Ma'am?"
All of Sera's sleepiness cleared with her question as she was suddenly reminded of her outfit for the party. It was something special. And Sera was eagerly awaiting for it's arrival.
"Yes. The outfit for tonight's party will be here soon, I want you to send that to my room at once. It's urgent.."
Nodding her head, the girl bowed slightly and left the room.
"Yes, Sure Ma'm.. I'll be here at your service!"
Closing the door, Sera turned to glance at the suspicious looking tray and paused, lost in her thoughts. She was fiddling with the hem of her pink flaired skirt that she had changed into, before leaving the Lu mansion.
'Should I call brother and ask? What if he's not the one who sent it..? He'll surely be worried to death!'
'Hmm.. Let's check it out first! It might be Ethan Lee, brother, or even..'
Mildly excited in her heart Sera cautiously picked up the tray. Pursing her pink lips, she absentmindedly strolled forward and settled on the fluffy bed to scrutinize it's contents.
"Hmm.. What's this?"
Slowly opening the black velvet box, Sera was too shocked for words. Her eyes went wide in puzzlement.
"Huh? A mask?!"
Inside the box was a beautiful black lace mask covering only the eyes. Mysterious and attractive.
Placing the mask on her eyes, Sera happily admired it's design and the way it looked on her. She was quite satisfied staring at her reflection in the mirror. Smiling to herself she carefully placed it back inside the box.
Filled with curiosity about the sender, Sera rushed to open the eye-catching envelope and perused it's contents. Inside it was a letter. It was a handwritten letter. The handwriting on it was very beautiful and pleasing to one's eyes.
"My Love.."
Reading through the first few words of the letter, Sera's bright eyes turned blurry with big and hot tears. She instantly recognized the sender, it was none other than Lucifer.
Her voice trembling with the happiness of being recognized and praised by the love of her life. She was exhilarated.

By the time Sera finished reading the whole thing she was silently crying, her shoulders shaking. Her eyes were red, her face was stained with tears of joy, and her heart fluttering as though she was flying in the sky.

Without wiping her tear stricken face, Sera neatly folded the letter back to how it was. When she was about to take the envelope to keep the letter inside, she ended up flipping the folded letter. A few words written on the back caught her attention immediately.

'Don't cry, it'll be hard to kiss away your tears.. And if you're missing me so much, before the party starts come to the rooftop!'
Smiling widely, Sera hastily wiped her face and kept the letter inside her bag.
Shortly after, the outfit for the party was here, Sera fetched it with a big smile. She opened the luxurious looking red box and felt her heart jumping in her chest.
Inside the box, a black dress wrapped in a red satin cloth was peeking through. With a mysterious glint in her eyes, Sera kept the box away and slipped inside the bathroom doors.. Soon, the sound of water running could be heard.
