All of a sudden, Lucifer's private phone in his pocket vibrated making his brows knit together. Apart from Sera only Adrian and Ethan Lee knew of this number.

He shot a brief glance at his friend and girlfriend before going out to answer the call.
Just as the man took his leave to answer his 'important' call, Lu Jinan popped out of nowhere.
"Brother!"
Glaring unkindly at Ethan Lee who was leisurely sipping on his drink, Lu Jinan strolled towards Sera who hasn't had a single drop of alcohol due to her body's weak disposition.
The doctor had strictly advised Sera to refrain from unhealthy lifestyle and to eat proper, balanced diet after she'd suddenly collapsed at the art gallery.
Thereafter, under Ethan Lee and Lucifer's stern supervision, Sera could only bow her head like an obedient child and sip on her fresh plum juice. It was sweet, and refreshing.
Not just Sera, even Xia Ruo Lan was prohibited from touching alcoholic drinks after her previous drunk episode at Callista's welcome party.

Pouring himself a glass of water to soothe his parched throat, Lu Jinan settled on the seat beside Sera where Lucifer was seated a while ago.
"Grandmother is already asleep in her room.. I just came here to inform that if you're tired you can snooze out too, I'll manage here.."
Ruffling his sister's hair affectionately, Lu Jinan voiced out his genuine concern for her. His gaze warm and filled with doting.
"As you can see, the party is almost over. Most of the guests have already left, and only some of our friends are here.."
Sweeping a glance around the great hall, Lu Jinan's face turned ashen at the sight of a tipsy Xia Ruo Lan whose face was a deep red, and he stopped speaking.
The girl's flushed face was blushing as she happily grinned at Lu Jinan like a freshly bloomed velvety red rose making him gulp in horror.
Although it was an incredibly mesmerizing sight, Lu Jinan felt a sudden bone chilling sensation on his back.
