Staring at the bulging veins on Lucifer's muscle which were about to burst out of his custom fit black shirt, Sera caught her erratic breath, while her eyes raked all over him.
The man's handsome face as he grit his teeth to deter himself from ravaging Sera, his gray orbs that usually resembled uncut diamonds were now as dark as a chunk of onyx, and his seductive lips slightly parted to catch his breath.
He looked even sexier than usual.
At this point in time, Sera felt that the pre-destined arrow was already placed on the bow, and nothing could stop it now. Not even herself!
Even like that, the fact that Lucifer was still holding back because he chose to respect her was like a stroke of luck for Sera. Her heart bursting with emotions she never knew existed. She was practically glowing with happiness that she never felt before.
These feelings were extremely new to Sera, never in her life did she imagine embracing this perfect man. She felt happy, exhilarated and lucky beyond words to describe.
Biting down on her swollen ruby lips, Sera extended her slender arms and encircled Lucifer's neck, smiling coyly, her glazed eyes fixated on his perplexed front.
It was a subtle sign from Sera that she was readily accepting him, including everything associated with him. The pain, the pleasure, the new step in their relationship, and most importantly Lucifer!
In a flash, Sera's body as tense as a bow melted against Lucifer's like a cold stick of icecream on a sunny afternoon under the blazing yellow sun.
Clearly feeling Sera's body relaxing in his arms, Lucifer was a little too shocked for his logic to work.
"Are you sure?"
A sceptical Lucifer quirked his brow as he inquired, his gaze held a tenderness that surprised her.
"Mm"
Smiled bloomingly, Sera nodded her head in affirmation.
"Just don't.. Don't hurt me"
After a beat, Sera's face turned pale as she softly said, her gaze hiding the fright she was trying to push back. He blinked at her request.
Dipping down, Lucifer pressed a reassuring kiss on Sera's forehead before kissing her red lips. Gently and passionately, caressing her, appreciating her beauty, her purity and the temptation that she was.
However, to everyone's surprise the little woman who had priorly given the go sign harshly pushed away the man on her, startling him greatly.
Puzzled by the sudden change, Lucifer simply glanced at the quiet as a mouse Sera, waiting for her to squeak out something.
"I think.. I, I got my period"
With her face bright red, Sera was beyond the threshold of embarrassment as she whispered.
Those oddly familiar words that Lucifer never thought he'd ever get to hear again suddenly dampened his spirits.
She sprinted inside the bathroom, holding her disheveled qipao dress in her hand as she left Lucifer alone in the bed. He sighed, laughing at the development in his heart.
'Just the right timing, heh!'
After taking a quick shower to replenish her tired and exhausted body's functioning, Sera slowly walked out of the bathroom. Changing out of the long qipao dress she had put on her warm and cozy pair of dark pink pajamas with cute bunnies in black printed on it.
Picking up his coat from the floor, Lucifer had taken off his shirt as he walked past Sera. His bare upper body was delicious to the eyes.
"Where are you going?"
Confused, Sera asked.
"Shower!"
By the time Sera could decipher the real meaning behind Lucifer's short answer, he'd already slid open the bathroom's door and disappeared.
After taking a really long shower, Lucifer was feeling quite a bit refreshed. Looking around, he saw Sera curled up on the bed. Her small face was scrunched up. It was tinted with the agonizing pain that she was experiencing right now.
Frowning, Lucifer threw the white towel in his hands aside and rushed to Sera.
"What's wrong?"
A pallid Sera replied in hushed tones with great difficulty, you could see tiny beads of sweat in clusters on her small forehead as she breathed.
"It.. It hurts"
Silent ensued in the air much to Sera's discomfort.
An expressionless Lucifer kept mum as he strode to the telephone extension beside the bed and whispered something. She could see his striking face evident with worry. Her heart melted.
"Are you feeling okay now?"
Thinking quick on his feet, Lucifer tucked Sera properly into the bed, and covered her with the comforter. He also placed fluffy cushions beside her for warmth and comfort. The movement of transition was so gentle that it required appreciation and applaud from all the women in the universe!
As if the man was afraid that he'd brake the fragile porcelain doll that he was holding in his arms.
"Are you feeling better? Stay under the covers like this and don't come out. As long as you don't get cold, everything will be fine by tomorrow"
She laughed mirthfully, her pale lips curled faintly at the strict instructions voiced by him.
"I know.."
Peering down at Sera, Lucifer watched her straight brows tighten in agony even as she smiled at him. He felt worse for almost forcing himself upon her.
The look of concern in Lucifer's gray irises warmed Sera's heart like a puddle of gooey mess of sweet marshmallows, with pink sugary hearts floating inside.
"I only have cramps for the first day, so tomorrow I'll be fine, really. So let's just sleep.."
Having no idea of Lucifer's guilt-trip, Sera naively thought that he was afraid that her pain wouldn't mollify and whispered.
Listening to her, Lucifer simply stared at her small figure with a frown.
In order to not make this man overly worried, Sera tried to relax her facial expression and pressed her lips together before closing her eyes.
"I am tired, so let's go to sleep now"
Feeling his gaze on her, Sera's tiny hand reached to grab onto Lucifer's big hand, her eyes were shut closed.. She couldn't have the man staring at her like that forever.
