After a night of crying, wailing, going crazy in hatred and scheming against Zhang Lili and Sera, the crazed and delirious Liu Li was back to being normal.
"Dad! Why is that slut Zhang Lili getting all the publicity as Lucifer's girlfriend?.. You know that I love Lucifer, right?!!"
Perched across her father, Liu Chenmin, in his private study was a scowling Liu Li as she complained in a whiny tone. She was dressed in the latest Chanel collection with a bright red lipstick on her pale face caked with heavy makeup. Her wavy shoulder length hair recently dyed in a strawberry blonde were different from her usual nut brown hair. She looked extremely eye-catching.
"Liu Li, relax.. You know why I'm doing this. It's the big boss's orders, and we ought not go against his words. And you know the consequences of disobeying the big boss's orders.. You understand what I'm saying?"
Sipping on his hot cup of tea, Liu Chenmin was attired in an ash gray checkered suit. His astute face stained with helplessness and worry after listening to his daughter's complaints before a rigid coldness flashed in his dark eyes. The only thought across Liu Chenmin's head was that the big boss was terrifying.
"Yes, but.. But I don't like the sight of Zhang Lili sticking to Lucifer with that annoyingly sweet smile of hers.. She's just a bastard child! What right does she have to be with my Lucifer..!"
Terrified, Liu Li's gaze on her father, Liu Chenmin shook for a second before she remembered Zhang Lili's pictures online with Lucifer. Liu Li's blood boiling at the recollection. Her fair hand slammed itself on the desk with a loud sound as she spat her venomous words. Her gaze blazing red with suppressed anger.
'You think that bastard Lucifer is any less than Zhang Lili?.. He's not Alex Chung's child but a dirty bastard from the stinky, old sewers of K Country..'
Curling his fingers into a tight fist under the table and away from Liu Li's dark gaze, Liu Chenmin thought inwardly. Even his facial features scrunched into an ugly scowl that was scarier to look at.
"Enough!! Don't spout nonsense.. What if someone hears you?"
Schooling his expression at once, Liu Chenmin turned to glance at the incensed Liu Li with urgency in his tone.
As Liu Chenmin still had a use for Zhang Lili, he cannot let anything negative effect her mind or else it'll be difficult for him to manipulate her. It was Liu Chenmin's last chance to redeem himself in front of the big boss.
"Hmph! But it's the truth anyway.. And my saying anything wouldn't change the fact that Zhang Lili is a bastard.."
Crossing her fair arms around her bust, Liu Li turned her head with a frustrated harrumph as she said.
The girl was infuriated yet she didn't dare meet her father, Liu Chenmin's furious gaze. Still, the strong feelings of resentment and indignation that Liu Li felt for Zhang Lili and Seraphina Lu for coveting her love, Lucifer, needed a source of outlet in one way or the other! Thus, Liu Li couldn't help but vent out her frustration in front of Liu Chenmin.
"Liu Li!!"
Enraged, Liu Chenmin glowered at Liu Li while hollering. His body shaking in rage.
"I hate her dad! I just hate the sight of her.. I hate Zhang Lili, I hate that girl, I hate her mother for seducing you.. I hate that bitch!! I hate you too, I hate everyone.. Everyone!!!"
Influenced by Liu Chenmin's over-the-top reaction Liu Li lost her senses as she screamed in agitation. Her layered blonde hair swaying with each nod of her furiously dancing head. She was irate. Her emotions all over the place.
Flustered, Liu Chenmin was thrown off balance by Liu Li's outburst, his face paled and eyes popped out of his skull. Liu Li's miserable, unhinged condition laced with her extreme anguish was something the man never wanted to see.
The fretful man hurriedly poured a glass of water, pulled open his desk's drawer and retrieved a vial of medicine. He emptied the transparent liquid into the water, and mixed it. Trickles of cold sweat could be seen on the sides of his creased forehead.
"Relax, Liu Li relax! Calm down! Just calm down. Drink this.."
Throwing away the vial of medicine under his table, Liu Chenmin passed Liu Li the glass shakily while trying his best to calm her.
Grabbing the glass with both her hands, Liu Li hazily gazed at Liu Chenmin who smiled stiffly with raised brows urging her to drink, her chest heaving up and down.
Reluctant, Liu Li took a small sip under Liu Chenmin's persuasion, her eyes red with tears. Shivering from the aftermath of her outrageous behavior, Liu Li was covered in cold sweat.
Seeing that Liu Li was obediently drinking the water, Liu Chenmin secretly heaved a sigh of relief.
"Liu Li, your emotions aren't stable at the moment.. How will Lucifer react after he sees you in this state?!.."
Holding the bottom of the glass to help Liu Li drink without leaving a drop of water, Liu Chenmin said.
"..If you're like this do you think Lucifer will want you? Will he love you?!.."
Feeling groggy, Liu Li sleepily nodded her head to Liu Chenmin's words before dozing off on her chair. Placing the glass away on the table, Liu Chenmin heaved a deep sigh before brushing the strands of hair away from Liu Li's face.

Shuddering in disbelief, Zhang Lili stood at the corridor with her face ashen and feet glued to the ground.
Having overheard the entire conversation between the father-daughter duo, Zhang Lili felt her world crumble to pieces. She could feel the solid ground under her feet slide.
After experiencing Liu Li's out-of-the-blue cold indifference in these few months that she'd been staying at Jade Manor, Zhang Lili had some idea that Liu Li more or less hated her.
Thunderstruck, Zhang Lili's eyes went wide as waves after waves of utter devastation hit her when she spotted Mr Bai. His glare icy cold. It was bone-chilling.
There was something in Mr Bai's dark orb hiding behind his spectacles.
Petrified by Mr Bai's dark glare, Zhang Lili wanted nothing but to runaway from there, and she did just that. Zhang Lili turned on her heel when the man suddenly seized her arm making her gasp, and dragged her out from the hallway.
The next second, Zhang Lili found herself pushed against the cold walls of the guest room. Her straight brows knit together in a frown.
The push was rather harsh.
A sharp pain shot through her back and a broken whimper escaped from Zhang Lili's trembling lips.. And large tears gathered in Zhang Lili's glistening black pools making her appear like a tender little lamb caught by the hunting tiger.
