As rays of light seeped in through the gaps of the ivory hued curtains, the girl sleeping on the bed frowned.
Her eyes fluttered open akin to a pair of butterfly wings. And her dense lashes quivered ever so lightly.
Attired in a pastel hued hospital gown, Su Yin appeared dreamlike, as though she'd disappear in the next instantly. A hint of rose can now be seen on her previously sickly pale face.
There was a familiar warmth surrounding her like a protective, warm blanket making her feel safe and comfy.
Raising her head sleepily, Su Yin was dumbstruck at the sight before her eyes.
Greeted with a face so familiar, her heart started racing. In a daze, Su Yin involuntarily reached her hand forward.
The smooth pads of her soft fingers carefully caressed the faint dark circles under the man's eyes. His warm, even breathing brushing against her thin wrist. Her heart clenched tight recalling the excruciating happenings of the night before.
The corners of Su Yin's beautiful black eyes soon reddened as tears dripped down her cheeks like pearls
'If I'm sad because I have lost a part of me, then this man, here, he has lost something too..'
Without wasting any time, Su Yin leaned forward to press a feather lite kiss on the man's forehead. He creased his brows into a slight frown before opening his eyes.
A pair of breathtaking oceanic blue irises came into sight. Bewitching!
Faced with Adrian's stunned expression, Su Yin mustered a faint smile and her petal like pink lips curled up.
She tilted her head trying to look cute like a harmless little bunny and mumbled.
"Good morning.."
Her low pitched, slightly raspy yet melodic voice brought Adrian back from his daze.
Pulling Su Yin closer, Adrian tightened his arms around her, as though wanting to melt her body against him. His eyes closed themselves while he tried to calm his palpitating heart.
It appeared surreal to him, her smile, her expression, her cheerful voice, everything!
The man was afraid it was a dream..
Breathing in Su Yin's comforting scent, Adrian finally parted his thin lips and replied hoarsely.
"Hmm.. Morning!"
Burrowing her head deep in Adrian's chest, Su Yin bit her lower lip. Her own heart drumming hard in her ribcage.
"Ad.. I'm.. I'm hungry!"
Nodding lightly, Adrian reluctantly released his hold on Su Yin's dainty little waist which had gained a little flesh over these three months of pregnancy. He didn't forget to kiss her lovingly before getting out of bed.
Leaning weakly against the bed, Su Yin's dimmed gaze lingered on Adrian's silhouette that moved busily around the room. After washing up, Adrian had changed into a clean white shirt, looking as dapper as always. The small sapphire buttons on his shirt sparkling in the light.
Adrian was helping Su Yin dry her face with a towel when loud raps on the door were heard.

Before Su Yin and Adrian could react, their ears were assaulted with the sharp and urgent cries of a man and a woman. The sound was rather recognizable.
The duo turned around with a jolt.

Standing by the door were the Lu siblings - Sera and Lu Jinan. They called out simultaneously in a state of shock, immediately after seeing Su Yin on the hospital bed. Not only that, she was also acting intimately with someone!
