In a very unusually low and hoarse voice, Lucifer breathed into her ears. His warm breath scatter across her skin colored a deep pink, raising fine hairs on the back of her neck.
It was uncomfortable. Her senses flooding with inappropriate thoughts. Her small face burning in shame.
'No! I cannot do this.. I have a lot of work to complete, and even Ye JiaYu isn't here to help!'

As though in a trance Sera's finger grazed them with utmost care. And he shuddered in response.

Shifting in the man's embrace, Sera met his gray orbs that'd normally gleam like a pair of rough diamonds, now shrouded with dismal darkness.
Leaning forward, she couldn't be bothered by his reaction and pressed her soft lips on his ice-cold skin, right at the corner of his left eye, much to his shock.
The lingering touch of her lips inflamed the cold flicker of whatever complicated feelings he was holding in, into a blazing fire that could cause ruins, devouring Lucifer's cold heart. And hopefully reviving it.
Before Lucifer could recover or react, Sera held him in a comforting manner, sharing her warmth without breaking eye-contact. Her smooth arms coiled around his waist in a hug.
".. Everything has been very different ever since I met you.. I hope it's the same for you, and I really wish that you could truly open up.."

Famished and exhausted from the earlier intense activity, Sera easily polished off more food than she'd normally eat.. Thanks to that, Ye JiaYu's extra portion was also eaten by the pair without wasting any food.
