At the same time, in another place…

A familiar ringing bell echoed throughout the busy room. A blonde man with a chiseled face came inside the shop. The man had a displeased expression at the ringing bell beside the door. However, that expression was instantly swept by a bright smile.

The reason for that change is because of the people's gaze that fell upon him. The entirety of Silver Wing's second floor fell into a hysterical cry due to a high school girl.

"Ack!! Mr. Ryan Kramer. It's really him."

"Please give me your autograph. I am your huge fan."

There are those who didn't openly show their surprise and gratitude. However, the murmurs didn't stop.

Adam was not a fan of those popular celebrities as he made a displeased expression as he cooked. Jake's cafeteria's traffic is quite heavy as Adam rarely got time to rest. In fact, he felt a bit tired doing all the work by himself. Fortunately, Akiko was there to help out with the customers.

As for the dishes? Adam was still in awe at the amazing technology Jake introduced to him. He just placed the dirty plates inside a small high-tech dishwasher looking box and it came out clean and dry in just 5 seconds.

Ethel was sitting in Kana's favorite seat. Her actions were extremely similar to Kana as she stared at her laptop the entire time, typing or clicking on something on the interface.

The focus was disturbed by the sudden cry of the high school girl. She was someone who prefers peace and silent when working, so naturally, she was pissed by the disturbance.

Those feelings were further enhanced by the sight a familiar but unwanted figure, standing next to the cafeteria's door.

Ethel was not unfamiliar with Ryan as she met him in her office. Ryan, an independent hunter and party leader of <Justice Knights>, suddenly volunteered to join the <Hunter Association> was a huge surprise for the masses. Since he was known to be the son of a conglomerate and was expected to build his own guild using the conglomerate's influence.

The relationship between them could be described as being not too close. Ethel was in charge of him in his welcoming party. They exchanged a few words but that's it. However, Ethel's intuition was telling her to stay away from that person. It was such a strong intuition at that.

And now, that very intuition told her that it was not a coincidence that Ryan appeared in the Silver Wing's cafeteria.

Ryan had a smile on his face the entire time as he signed and compelled with every single request of the customers.

"Everyone, thank you for your support. But let's not make it any more difficult for the young miss over here."

Suddenly, everyone's gaze fell onto Akiko, who was struggling to squeeze herself towards Ryan to welcome a potential customer. Akiko didn't know who Ryan was but understood that he is some kind of public figure from the crowd's reaction. However, that didn't stop her from doing her job.

Akiko maintained her professionalism and politely spoke.

"Good afternoon sir, how many tables would you like?"

Ryan didn't answer immediately. His eyeballs moved around the entire floor, seemingly in search for something. His face lights up with a smile as soon as he found what he's looking for.

"Oh, it's okay young miss. I saw an acquaintance over there. So, I'll join them."

With that as an excuse, Ryan walked over towards Ethel's table with Akiko following behind with a menu in her tiny hands.

Ethel, the person in question, pretended not to notice Ryan's approach and continued on with her work.

"Ah~ Ms. Ethel. It is a coincidence to see you here. I haven't seen you much in the association. I thought you fell sick and was a little worried."

Ryan casually pulled out a chair in front of Ethel and sat. Akiko didn't say anything and hand over the menu to him, waiting for his order.

It seems that the invisible communication between woman was real. Akiko didn't comment on Ryan's action on Ethel as she quietly waits for his order. She could read Ethel's displeasure by looking at her small change in expression. It is quite a feat since Ethel didn't usually show her feelings on her face.

"Oh? Fancy meeting you here, Mr. Kramer. I'm honored that you even remember a small figure like me."

"Please, call me Ryan. I don't really like it when people call me by my last name."

"As you wish, Mr. Ryan."

"Hahaha, as rigid as always I see."

Ethel returned Ryan's words with a smile. Since she was not a talkative person, she decided to not bother too much with Ryan. It was not in her job description in entertaining this man outside of the Association.

Ryan's face twitched slightly as he browses through the menu. It was obvious that he was not impressed with the dishes served in the cafeteria. In the end, he ordered one portion of <Fluffy Omelets> and <Watermelon Juice>.

At the very least, no one could mess up with making an omelet to a terrifying degree.

The table's atmosphere took a turn to a weird fashion. The envy and angry gaze from customers were like a sharp sword as it pierced right at Ethel. However, it didn't work towards the cold Ethel. She just ignored the gaze and continue her work from her laptop. It is the bare requirement for her to take a leave from the <Hunter Association>.

From time to time, Ryan tried to initiate a conversion but was cut by Ethel's uninterested answer.

"Psst! Akiko comes here."

Adam motioned towards Akiko to come over. Thanks to Ryan's appearance the workload increased considerably. So he can't stop cooking. However, there is no way that he would not gossip about something like this! It seems that today's victim is, once again, Akiko.

"Don't you think there's something fishy going on there?"

"Huh? Between Sis and that Ryan guy? Hm… I don't know…"

Akiko replied innocently. It is exactly this reaction that motivated Adam to gossip with her. The teenage girl showed interest in almost everything he told them. It is fortunate that Adam didn't have a thing towards a younger and undeveloped woman.

"What do you mean!? It's very obvious. Look here. Pay attention to them, okay."

Akiko did as Adam told and started to pay attention to the two. Their gaze was masked by the other gaze so Adam thought that Ethel won't find out if he gossiped a bit about her. At most, he'll just get scolded a bit. In fact, it is not a rare occurrence.

"Look. When that guy talks, he will have that smile and expectant look. So, I'll say that he is interested in Big Sis. However…"

Akiko nodded her head in enlightenment. The scene playing in front of her is exactly as Adam described. So, it is natural for her to agree.

"Big Sis didn't like that guy at all. She might even despise him. Look! She only replied shortly and then the conversation died out. It is definitely the case!"

Adam had the look of a winner as he saw Akiko's fascinated face. He even started to wonder about where and how Akiko was raised before she came here.

In the usual case, Akiko's age was around the time where a girl is at the mischievous phase. However, Akiko didn't show that at all. She felt more like a 7 or 8-year-old kid who knew nothing about the world but it is definitely not the case.

The two continue to gossip from time to time when they were a bit free. The small time frame of Akiko walking pass the bar was enough for Adam to say a word or two about Ethel and Ryan. However, that soon came to a stop.

"Hey, Akiko. Look here. Big Sis is going to— Ack!!"

Adam almost lets out a scream when he made eye contact with Ethel. Her eyes were fierce as she found out that Adam was currently gossiping about her with Akiko. She knew that he is joking around so she only sends him a deathly glare to warn him to continue with his job.

However, the message that was delivered to Adam was completely different.

'Ahhh… Help me, Jake! Come back soon! Big Sis is going to kill me!"
