The course of destiny was never bound by a preordained path, as the threads of fate wove themselves unpredictably, defying any set plan.

As we each weave our thread of time, drawing nearer to another weaver entails the risk of entangling destinies, paving an alternative path divergent from what is preordained.

Clotho, Lachesis, and Atropos stood as among the first beings to create, destroy, and shape destinies. Now united, they reign supreme, overseeing the [Order] of Time. The [Das Sar] thread with caution when dealing with their [Order], while other factions spent billions of years delving into the intricate concept, contemplating the threads of fate, these three—the pillars of Fate, Destiny, and Karma—focused their entire lives on specializing in this singular thread.

“When was the last time a mortal severed a thread spun by a god?” Clotho inquired of the others.

“Not just any god. It’s Adam,” Atropos remarked with a smirk.

“Does that name hold significance for us?” Clotho wondered aloud.

“He was our most promising student a millennium ago,” Atropos added a hint of reminiscence in her voice.

They could have communicated telepathically, not because of being triplets, but because such a skill was child’s play. However, this was a deliberate display put on for the sake of the eldest sister.

Specializing in severing threads, Lachesis required constant reminders of past, present, and future events from the other two. She grasped the overt attempt to engage her, but instead of bothering to ask them to cease, she lounged back on the cloud, lazily twirling her emerald green hair, displaying her disinterest.

Her eyes emitted a faint, ethereal green hue, oscillating through various shades while her hair mirrored the spectrum of her eyes, attempting to synchronize. Within her eyes, a diamond within a diamond formed, capturing every angle of the intricate thread of fate, reflecting boundless possibilities.

A single thread becomes entangled with another whenever it acknowledges the other’s presence. While many gods assume physical contact or mental influence is necessary to form such an entanglement, Lachesis knows better.

With a blink, her vision shifted to capture the infinite threads surrounding the palace. The dull appearance of her sisters brightened as these infinite threads connected them to billions of followers across the multiverse.

They might be deemed triplets, were it not for their contradictory views and distinct aura signatures.

Clotho adorned an ocean blue pearl in her eyes, and her hair mimicked the gentle sway, attempting to mirror the profound depth of Clotho’s gaze.

Atropos’s eyes blazed with a celestial red ruby, her hair dancing to the rhythm of her emotions. Amongst the trio, only her hair perfectly mirrored every spectrum of her eyes. At first glance, observers assumed her hair was ablaze, yet they never witnessed Lachesis braiding it or yanking it hard when Atropos acted coy.

Lachesis adored Atropos’ bun and long hair. These small moments completed her life. It’s the little moments that make life, yet too often, they go uncherished.

With a heavy sigh, she shifted her gaze over the blazing strand intertwined with a crystal blue thread extending toward her. This thread connected her with her sisters. Among all the threads, she could never sever this one, even if it held her back from reaching new heights.

With a blink, her vision shifted once more, and she discerned the strand to be the thread of karma. With a flick of her wrist, the strand dissipated into nothingness, flashes of Adam washing away alongside the thread.

“Do not intertwine some brat’s thread with mine,” Lachesis remarked, her lips curling in disgust.

“He entered the Noor right after passing the academy,” Atropos reminded.

“I saw that,” Lachesis recalled a snippet from when she first crossed paths with Adam.

    “We all did,” Clotho concurred.

“This is the highest spot he will ever reach,” Lachesis remarked, following a thread connected to Clotho and Atropos. “Hmm. This day marks his downfall.” She eyes the others. “Keeping close tabs on him?” Her stomach churns at the mere thought.

“Keep following the thread,” Clotho giggled.

“Until where?” Lachesis questioned, not wanting to see anything inappropriate.

“Away from the hub and toward the Defyer,” both Clotho and Atropos spoke in unison with a snicker.

Lachesis recalled every relevant lesson about the [Thread] as she meticulously ticked off each possibility, searching for the [Defyer]. After all, even a slight error was enough for the [Thread of Defiance] to slip from even her sight.

Before life is created, a thread of fate, karma, and destiny weaves itself into reality. When these three are intertwined into a single thread, it’s called the [Thread of Time].

Many still follow ancient scriptures to conceive a child for this very reason. The actions of the parents in the past, present, and future affect their child’s [Thread of Time]. Not only that, but the aspects of time, from conception to birth and beyond, incorporate the karmic ties and grudges within the parents’ threads into the child’s thread before birth. This burden leaves the child with three threads from birth: one they weave themselves, and the other woven by their parents.

Any action, choice, or affiliation tugs the thread toward another thread, compelling it to merge with another being’s [Thread of Time]. Over time, many other threads weave themselves into the [Core thread]—the thread that belongs solely to the individual.

These foreign threads are forged through interactions with other threads. Whether the individual is born in seclusion, in the desolate realm of the void, or amidst the most populous hive of [Xenophyte Swarm], their [Thread of Time] is woven before birth and becomes entwined with numerous other threads as their journey unfolds.

The most common threads to join the weave come from one’s parents, friends, enemies, and loved ones. The deeper a thread is intertwined with your own, the stronger your bond is to that person, and the greater your willingness to sacrifice to keep that person safe.

These threads are invisible to the naked eye but are like blazing beacons for the third eye.

Every action creates a fluctuation in energy, and the third eye can discern different fluctuations throughout time, allowing one to follow this thread and trace out their entire family tree.

Deities used this technique to either eradicate or escape from their enemies. It’s a tedious process that spans billions of years, but since gods are immortal, they utilize their vast lifespan to seek revenge or evade retribution.

The art of studying these threads is called [Fate Tampering], and those capable of manipulating these threads are known as [Foreseers].

The triplets were the first [Foreseers] and creators of [Fate Tampering]. The core thread is too thin for even the third eye to capture, but as the thread weaves itself with others, it grows thicker, making it easier to track an individual’s energy.

With deeper knowledge of the thread, one can perceive the weaver’s past and future. The thread was traditionally seen as an individual strand branched out based on one’s choices in life, but the triplets added, or imagined, three strands to better understand and study the thread.

It’s a deduction performed on a cosmic scale.

Based on a person’s habits, past choices, and connections, a [Foreseer] anticipates their destiny. Here, destiny is a [Hub] where the core thread is tested against itself, pitted against the numerous threads it carries, or against various other threads, where each requires a single component the others possess.

This forms a cocoon of conflict which mortals call destiny and immortals call a [Hub]. At a Hub, various threads vie for dominance or survival, and regardless of the outcomes, the threads that endure the ordeal are never the same.

Amongst the infinite threads that collide at the [Hub], only a select few weave a path to greatness, while the rest perish to join the true source. These [Hubs] are unavoidable in the grand scheme, as they provide a missing piece of the puzzle that every weaver lacks in their path of creation.

The triplets studied their own [Thread of Time] to comprehend the intricate weave of the thread. Using their threads as a guide, while simultaneously studying other threads, helped them figure out the next [Hub], be it forced or natural.

The triplets gain control of it before the cocoon is formed because being able to find a [Hub] before it’s formed is a basic step required to ascend into godhood and demands uncanny control over the third eye.

The third eye grants insight into energy, but one must deduce the intricate pattern to control fate. For instance, a person with a genetic disorder running in their family tree has a high chance of inheriting the same disorder. There is also a slight chance that they never do, or they may develop a worse variant. By studying this thread and connecting the weaver to their closest family member, a [Foreseer] can predict the child’s fate.

The deeper their knowledge of the thread, the more accurate the reading becomes. By already knowing one’s destiny/hub, one can circumvent the problem. In this case, branching out the family tree and marrying into stronger genes, incubating the child and extracting the default genes, or taking an extreme path to choose death over life are all potential strategies.

The triplets can delve deeper into these threads and perceive the child’s next Hub, all the way until their journey ends. Of course, one must maintain a constant vigil over the Thread to identify the slightest fluctuations of destiny, but people or gods seldom change for their destinies to have any drastic new outcomes.

Finding one’s [Natural Hub] is as simple as reading one’s actions and spirit. If one parent smokes, the child might or might not smoke, but by studying the child’s perspective, encounters with other threads, and the distance between the various [Hubs] in the child’s timelines, the triplets can write a story before the seedling is even born.

The [Hub] isn’t so perilous that one has to choose between life, death, or mediocrity. Various choices lead to various outcomes. Breaking away from a set path is challenging because one must constantly introspect to understand and break the patterns that bind them to erroneous threads.

Traveling does strengthen the core thread with multiple layers, making it nearly impossible to break as it acquires infinite possibilities to spread. Yet only the true thread can lead one to greatness.

One must pave a new path or risk being stuck in the shadows of others, never reaching their true potential. While others may add various branches to your thread, it also weighs down and stains the core thread, and only a refined core thread can soar to greatness.
