Rumi explained to me that the government was scrambling to find someone to replace my Uncle as the new symbol of peace. That would've fallen to Endeavor or Hawks since they were the two top heroes, but the government didn't seem to trust them that much. As for me, the government convinced my Uncle and Rumi that I should be the new symbol until they can find someone else, should I still no longer want it. Rumi used the event to show me the country and world.

I didn't join the hero ranks thankfully since I'm not considered a full-time pro hero. Though the whole country considers me the top hero now, just not on paper. The government tried to convince me to go back to being a full-time hero, but I warned them should they keep forcing me I'd stop being a hero in general. This left me to keep my job at U.A. and just now be known as the number one unofficial hero of Japan. Everyone in school now looks at me differently after I came out as the chosen hero of Japan. Most people now look at me in awe and respect, even when I walk around now people run up to me for autographs and pictures.

When I showed up at U.A. today after dropping off Eri at her school, Shota told me his class will be having an emergency response drill today. The students are unaware of this, so I would be overseeing the drill, and class 1-A will be fighting Nejire Hado and Tamaki Amajiki as the villains. While trying to save some civilians in the process, the civilians are other volunteer staff and Mirio Togata as he is now considered quirkless. As I'm waiting with the staff and top three students at the site used for the drill and overlooking it from atop one building, the alarm goes off signaling the start of the drill.

"Everyone go to your posts," I say to the staff and three students who nod and run off.

"Nejire and Tamaki," I say before they run off, they stop and turn to me.

"Make sure you don't hold back. Push the class to their limits and if they fail so be it, you can always learn from defeat. At least if you live after the defeat," I say to them and they nod before running off.

I then stand at the edge of the building watching as class 1-A comes running into the area. Shota had made his way to me to watch over the drill.

"Seems they have split the class up into squads," I say watching as the class breaks apart into groups.

"Good, means they aren't completely hopeless," Shota says with a tired yawn as he stands next to me watching the drill.

Seems the scouting squad is made up of Anima, Earphone Jack, and Tentacole, to investigate the situation. As they are directing the rest of the class where to go for the problems across the drill area. With this information, Creati uses her Quirk to create a wheelbarrow and then Ingenium forms a firefighting squad. Shoto, Tsukuyomi, Sugarman, and Can't Stop Twinkling join him. Then Anima tells them something else making Froppy and Grape Juice join the firefighting squad. They all get on the wheelbarrow, and Ingenium uses his Engine Quirk to get them to the place as quickly as possible.

Deku, Uravity, Pinky, Creati, Invisible Girl, Tailman, and Cellophane, seem to form a rescue squad and follow behind the firefighting squad on foot. As Bakugo, on the other hand, takes Chargebolt and Red Riot with him in the opposite direction, looking for the villains it seems. The group of three heads towards a deserted car. With Earphone Jack, Anima, and Tentacole stay behind to relay new information to the teams.

The firefighters squad arrives at the scene of the fire and Shoto uses his Quirk to generate a large amount of ice that covers the building to extinguish the fire. Meanwhile, Froppy reports that the person who is being swept away is Mirio, who plays a civilian in distress. Seeing him approach a collapsed bridge, risking damage from the debris, Froppy and Grape Juice respectively ask Sugarman and Tsukuyomi to throw them towards the bridge with their Quirk. Grape Juice uses his Grape Juice super move to stop the falling rubble while Froppy rescues Mirio with her tongue.

"Ha! Ha! I'm in danger!" Mirio says with a laugh as he is slowly being swept down the river.

"This kid is special," I say with a shake of my head since we have mics on all the staff and three students in case they really do find themes selves in danger and need to be assisted immediately. Shota just nods his head in agreement with me as we watch them try to say Mirio and prevent the building from collapsing.

With the situation seemingly under control, Ingenium calls the reconnaissance squad to ask if they have detected the presence of any villains. They tell back that no one has been detected yet. The class representative asks them to remain alert when a second explosion goes off by the building. Shoto is surprised his ice wasn't enough. We can overhear class 1-A too, as their comms come through to us since we are overlooking the entire drill.

The rescue squad reaches the place, and to prevent the fire from spreading, Pinky, Uravity, and Cellophane work as a team. Uravity touches Pinky to make her float with her Zero Gravity and Cellophane snags her with his tape, launching her toward the fire. Once in mid-air, Pinky generates a large amount of acid with which to create a ditch around the flames. Can't Stop Twinkling uses his Navel Laser Quirk to make the damaged building collapse on the fire to deprive the flames of oxygen, and Shoto once more uses his ice powers to cover the entire structure, and this time he successfully manages to snuff out the fire. The situation seems to be finally solved, but Earphone Jack detects someone nearby and warns her companions.

Playing a villain in the drill, Nejire Chan attacks the rescue squad, blasting them away with her Wave Motion Quirk, and captures Pinky by rolling her up with the tape. The students are surprised to see her, and she reminds them that there are still villains on stage. Suneater approaches from their rear, also playing a villain or at least he tries, because he is so nervous about the whole situation that he is unable to interpret his role, so he decides to leave, to the surprise and confusion of Class 1-A.

"This fucking kid… are we sure he will be a good hero?" I say seeing Tamaki walk away after approaching the class from behind.

"He's not my student, so not my problem. Though I'm sure they have their reasons for him getting this far. Plus you should know it doesn't take personality to be a good hero," Shota says to me with a smirk at the end.

"Yeah, fine," I say with a chuckle.

"Oh thank god! Nejire seems to have talked sense into him," I say with a grateful smile at her.

Nejire tells Tamaki that he can't walk away without playing his role properly, and tells the students not to do anything as she is holding Pinky hostage. Ingenium, Tsukuyomi, and Shoto attempt to surround her to rescue their classmate, but Nejire notices her presence and is upset for disobeying her demands, she attacks them with Nejire Wave, forcing Shoto to shield the group with a wall of ice, causing a strong shake that is used by Mirio to 'accidentally' fall into the river, needing to be rescued again in order to distract the surrounding heroes from focusing on Nejire. Ingenium prioritizes human lives, leaving the rescue squad to deal with Nejire. As he, Shoto, Tsukuyomi, Froppy, and Grape Juice go after Mirio.

"What do you want villain?" Deku asks Tamaki taking this drill seriously at least.

"I want to go home," Tamaki says making me more annoyed. Shota seems to find his attitude slightly funny though.

"This kid is no longer helping us in drills," I say to him and Shota just laughs at my annoyance.

"Though I can't let my friends down!" Tamaki says with conviction in his voice as he activates his quirk ready to fight class 1-A.

Suneater realizes that Invisible Girl is missing from the group. Deku then signals Uravity to deactivate her Zero Gravity Quirk, removing Pinky's weightlessness to bring her down, dragging down an unsuspecting Nejire with her. At that moment Invisible Girl jumps down from a nearby building to help Pinky. Nejire is surprised at her audacity and uses her Quirk to steady herself, but Invisible Girl uses her Warp Refraction to blind the villains. All this distraction is taken advantage of by Cellophane, who binds Nejire with his Tape, and Momo, who creates a net gun with which she shoots and pins her down.

With Nejire defeated, only Suneater remains. Tailman attacks him and fights him for a while until Suneater grabs him with his tentacles. Tailman signals Deku to attack. It looked like he was going to hit him, but Deku opts to simply grab Suneater and asks him to surrender. Suneater asks why he didn't hit him. Deku replies he couldn't bring himself to hurt him. Suneater criticizes Deku for his naivety and kicks him away, reminding him that right now he is a villain, and lunges to attack him.

"At least he is helping the students learn to not hold back even in a drill," Shota says hearing Tamaki/Suneater's statement. I just sigh and shake my head having given up.

Suddenly, a red car, powered and driven by Chargebolt, is speeding toward them with Red Riot on its hood. After activating his Hardening, Red Riot is blasted forward by Bakugo with his Explosion Quirk, headbutting Suneater. Bakugo, after complaining to Chargebolt because his charge was too slow, Bakugo blasts himself forward to face Suneater, who prepares to face him but is so scared by Bakugo's angry face that he cannot react, being easily knocked down by the student from Class 1-A. With his defeat, the drill ends. While all this was happening, Ingenium's team managed to rescue Mirio again.

The Class 1-A students celebrate having successfully completed the drill, although some of them think they could have done more. On the other hand, Bakugo is angry because he thinks Suneater went easy on him. The upperclassman tries to explain himself, but Bakugo's anger is so great that he does not listen to him and attacks him with a big explosion, knocking out everyone in the surrounding area.

"I warned him, once to control his anger seems he has a lot to learn," I say very pissed off at Bakugo.

"Don't hurt him too much," Shota says right before I launch myself toward Bakugo.

"Hey shithead! I warned you once what would happen, should you not get your anger in check," I say as I land with a loud bang having fallen from a great height behind the class and Bakugo.

"He didn't take this seriously! He shou–" Bakugo says before I appear in front of him and punch him hard enough to knock the air from his lungs and double him over. The whole class freezes up at my attack unsure what to do.

"Stay down," I say to Bakugo having enough of his attitude problems, as he struggles to stand up. He gives me a very pissed-off and bloodthirsty look as I stand over him.

"You do anything else before I tell you to, I will knock you out and drag you to the principal. Or you can stay down until I say otherwise and we can both walk to the principal's office," I say to him as he grits his teeth contemplating what to do. I can see his classmates are very nervous about a fight breaking out.

"Listen to Sensei Yagi, 'cause if you don't you're gonna deeply regret it later," Shota says having finally made his way over to us. Bakugo shoots him a sideglance while looking around at his classmates' nervous looks, before staring at me one more time with hatred.

"Fine," Bakugo says relaxing and laying on the ground defeated.

"Everyone leave with Sensei Aizawa, Bakugo and I have somewhere to be," I say without taking my eyes off Bakugo. The whole class nods before leaving with Shota and three upperclassmen leave with them too.
