"Welcome, young Miss!"

Long Yuyin nodded weakly to the Long family guard while she walked to the small pavilion where the leaders of the Long family and the Tang family were gathered.

The Yun family and the Zhang family would work together, as well as the Tang family and the Long family. Similarly, the Ming family and the Ze family would be working in teams and the roles and hunting areas would be distributed.

The Yun family and the Zhang family had already left, while the Ming and Ze families were currently leaving. The Long family and the Tang family would leave the city after the last two families.

The guard was surprised to see traces of drowsiness on Long Yuyin's face, but he did not say anything.

Long Yuyin had not slept at all the previous night and even had dark circles under her eyes while her eyes showed clear fatigue and tiredness.

Long Yuyin had her mind and heart a mess inside.

Since she was young, Long Yuyin loved martial arts and longed to become stronger, reach the top of martial arts and even surpass the level of power that her father had, who was the Lord of the City, which was the Legend rank.

Legend rank was her lifelong goal, until she met Ling Tian.

Undoubtedly, the power emitted by that young man far exceeded the power of her own father, so he had actually reached the mysterious Divine rank.

At the time when the group was facing that fearsome and fierce demon beast, Long Yuyin thought that she was going to die at that moment. Although her inner power had reached Great Heaven rank, she still had a long way to go. Her father, who was a Legend rank, could do nothing but defend himself heavily against the demon beast, therefore, the power of herself was not enough.

When she thought that she and her father would die, that great brother suddenly appeared and easily disposed of that demonic beast that had caused even the Emperor ranks to perish and made the Legend rank difficult.

By controlling his sword from a distance and then flying it into the skies, he subverted the world of Long Yuyin completely.

Long Yuyin knew that the God rank was powerful, but she did not know that such a rank was so amazing and wonderful.

To be able to fly over the skies and use one's power to control things like one's sword was certainly something longed for by any martial artist.

Long Yuyin searched for Ling Tian's whereabouts, but did not find him for several days.

When she found him, they both made a bet and Ling Tian vanished like the wind itself, leaving no trace.

Long Yuyin wanted Ling Tian to be her Master.

She wanted to be strong like him!

He was the only one who could guide her!

Long Yuyin wanted to be with this great, amazing brother!

So when she went to her sister Mu Shuiruo's house, she was surprised to see Ling Tian there and without thinking, she quickly went and grabbed him, fearing that he would escape again.

She admired this powerful young man, so she came to the conclusion and insisted that she wanted to be his disciple and teach her. Her mind had only one goal, which was to be his disciple.

Because of that, she always followed him and did not turn away from him. Although she felt strange and different inside, she didn't think about it and focused on him accepting her as his disciple.

Long Yuyin didn't care that they were both the same age, as long as one was versed and very competent in something, that person could be called Master.

Even though Long Yuyin forgot the ceremony to worship the Master, she still hoped to do such a ceremony, but she was afraid that Ling Tian would not want to. But even so, she would still call him Master, because that was how she saw Ling Tian.

But, the moment she saw Ling Tian and Mu Shuiruo hugging and then found out that the two of them were together, her heart ached and she felt uncomfortable and even upset by that fact.

Long Yuyin did not know why she felt this way at the time, so from the moment she arrived at her home and rested, countless questions and discomfort arose from her.

Long Yuyin did not know what these chaotic feelings were inside her. It was the first time she had ever felt this way.

Anger, jealousy, discomfort, and even hope could be felt in her heart.

Was she really in love with Ling Tian?

When this question was asked in her mind, Long Yuyin's cheeks blushed at the thought of such a possibility.

She had never fallen in love before, and not even a single man in the city had caught her eye. Long Yuyin was always training to become stronger. She only had a few friendships with some women, so she never had relations with men, and for some strange reason she always avoided them. Therefore, she somehow did not know how to relate to Ling Tian and get close to him.

That she fell in love with Ling Tian because he saved her could be one of the factors, if not the most important one in her feelings towards him. Every woman dreams of having a man who supports her and makes her feel safe in times of need and consolation as well. Ling Tian left a good impression on her by saving her and her father from that terrible death.

What should she do?

Mu Shuiruo was her sister since her childhood, along with other sisters.

Long Yuyin was happy for Mu Shuiruo that she had someone to love and feel happy.

When Long Yuyin saw Mu Shuiruo's happy and loving smile at that moment, she was very happy for her sister, but she was also somewhat sad, hurt and disappointed.

Finally, after a long time of thinking about it all night, Long Yuyin had understood her feelings for Ling Tian.

She had fallen completely in love with him.

Falling in love and loving is different, but still, he was the first man she started to feel all that for, but... it was too late.

Ling Tian already had Mu Shuiruo.

Long Yuyin could fight if it was someone else and try to make Ling Tian fall in love with her because she had always been direct and determined, but, Long Yuyin couldn't do that to Mu Shuiruo. She was one of her sisters.

Should she bury those feelings?

Or should she fight for Ling Tian?

Long Yuyin shook her head in response. The image of Ling Tian kept appearing constantly. That ever-weak smile on his handsome face and that straightforward look, with his jet black eyes that made one feel like one's soul was beginning to lose its way when one saw them, certainly made Long Yuyin's heart beat.

"Sister Yuyin."

A soft, charming voice, it drove Long Yuyin from her thoughts when she felt soft, delicate hands holding hers.

Long Yuyin looked up and it was Mu Shuiruo who had taken her hand.

Mu Shuiruo had a happy smile and a lovely look on her face while watching Long Yuyin.

"Sister Shuiruo..." Long Yuyin could not look directly at Mu Shuiruo, feeling slightly guilty.

Mu Shuiruo watched her reaction and worried, "Are you all right, sister?"

"Emm." Long Yuyin nodded and slowly looked at Mu Shuiruo.

Her worried, tender look eased Long Yuyin's guilty conscience somewhat.

Remembering Mu Shuiruo's natural shyness, and that Mu Shuiruo was the most shy and nervous of all the sisters since childhood, Long Yuyin smiled happily: "Sister Shuiruo, congratulations on finding your future husband..."

Long Yuyin's voice shook slightly at the end as she tried to congratulate Mu Shuiruo.

"Th-Thank you..." Mu Shuiruo blushed completely when she knew what Long Yuyin meant. However, she did not let shyness overpower her and smiled in response, with a very happy smile.

Long Yuyin observed this and felt both happiness and pain at the same time.

Long Yuyin knew that she no longer had a chance.

Both girls started walking towards a rest area as the other teams and families finished their departure, attracting the gaze of all the men around them.

Long Yuyin asked Mu Shuiruo about her decision to participate in these missions.

Mu Shuiruo told Long Yuyin about why she wanted to become stronger.

Long Yuyin listened carefully, while her heart continued to conflict.
