From the barn, I took out a pitchfork and from inside the fishing equipment box, I brought out a headlight.
Yup, I’m about to head in and check out that huge hole.
「Old lady, if I were to die, let’s meet again… 」
While muttering, I descended down the stairs one step at a time.
Naturally, I never had any intention to die...
After what seemed like 10 minutes, I finally saw the last, illuminated step of the stairs.
And thus, facing downwards, I raised my face and something was on the ground, wriggling.
「Who’s there!! The person who made the hole underneath the tatami of my house!! I’m going to fucking kill you!!」
Imagining myself as a killer, I yelled out loudly.
