Chapter 423: Patting Heads And A Jealous Cub

Rui Yewan was almost his height and his facial features were more defined now that the baby fat had disappeared. He looked like a charming young man with killer eyes that could mesmerize anyone only for them to wind up having a nightmare. He now suited his image of the prince of nightmares perfectly.
"Uh uh uh, that's enough patting for today, " said Rui Fei while taking Ji Yao's hand away. He entwined their fingers together as he pulled him closer. Ji Yao didn't even need anyone to tell him that his cub was eating sour lemons.
Ji Yao raised his hand and gently rubbed Rui Fei's head soothing the jealous pup but as he retrieved his hand Rui Fei grasped his wrist. He let go of Rui Li who had already calmed down, in fact, her eyes were sparkling anticipating her daily bread that is the glorious dog food.
Rui Fei pulled Ji Yao's wrist his gaze dead set on the man's face. Because Ji Yao didn't know what he planned on doing he tried to free his hand while coaxing him.
"Ah-Fei don't, don't mess around... everyone is watching," he whispered as he moved a step backwards but Rui Fei was unrelenting. With this 'you run away and I follow act' it was inevitable that he would reach the railing of the ship.
As his heel touched the railing he found himself sitting down with nowhere else to go. A strong arm suddenly wrapped around his waist pulling him up.
Because of the momentum, Ji Yao's body slammed into Rui Fei's chest. When he raised his head to scold Rui Fei he was met by that deep gaze making his breath tighten.
All that anger was expelled and he became as soft as a marshmallow. His gaze involuntarily looked at those tantalizing lips and found himself thirsty for some reason. Thinking how soft those lips were when they last kissed he found himself tempted to do it again.
His scalp went numb as Rui Fei's face moved closer and closer. He half gasped as he squeezed Rui Fei's arm. Butterflies sprung up in his tummy in anticipation of that kiss. The hand holding his wrist tightened making him raise his gaze to look up into his eyes.
But instead of a kiss Rui Fei raised his hand and patted Ji Yao's hair with a gleeful smile. Ji Yao's heart skipped a beat as he felt that hand touch his hair. He was a little disappointed that he didn't get kissed but that touch was definitely compensation enough.
"I wanted to pat your head too, my little peach," whispered Rui Fei, "it's so fluffy and soft." The tips of Ji Yao's ears turned red with embarrassment but when he realised that Rui Fei had called him little peach he immediately retorted.
"Nope..... you aren't going to fuckin call me that. I veto it," he said shoving him away.
"Oh come on," replied Rui Fei as he watched Ji Yao create some distance between them.
Ji Yao who had been drawn into their own little world by Rui Fei abruptly came back to earth when he saw everyone except Xunshi Zhe, Big Hei and Rui Yewan staring at them with multi-coloured expressions.
For these three this was the norm and for Rui Li, it was what she lived for. As for the rest, it was a WTF moment. They had heard some rumours but rumours weren't comparable to seeing it in person. These two were indeed a shameless couple that sprinkled dog food everywhere like it was christmas.
Out of all of them, it was Zhang Ci who took the biggest hit. He couldn't believe that this was the same Ji Yao who walked around with an expression like someone owed him millions.
When he tried to chat him up in the past he was met by an iceberg much bigger than the one that sank the titanic. But in Rui Fei's hands he was like silly putty getting moulded into whatever shape Rui Fei so desired. That wasn't even the scariest part. What was more terrifying was that he blushed..... he fuckin blushed!!!
That realisation shocked Zhang Ci that his soul almost flew out of his body. 'I quit..... I fuckin quit. Who can compete with this asshole?' he asked himself throwing in the towel? Unfortunately, him giving up didn't mean that he was safe.
Rui Fei who had suddenly noticed him glared in his direction terrifying Zhang Ci so much that he yelped involuntarily. "Argh.....," he screeched before placing his fist on his mouth to prevent other noises from coming out.

"Ha ha uh, Cap-captain Ji..... it's um, um good to have you back. We missed you... I no, no, no I meant we as a collective..... were worried about you," he stumbled over his words but only dug himself into a pit.
Seeing Rui Fei's expression turn darker and
darker with each word he decided to think fast. Grabbing Shuijing's shoulder he pulled her closer and said, "I, I have a girlfriend now ha ha," while pointing at her.
Shuijing, "The fuck?"
He most definitely had a death wish otherwise why would he choose her to play pretend with him?

This here was the sound of Zhang Ci's good looking face meeting Shuijing's mighty punch. Don't blame her, blame him for picking the wrong person to play house with.

Annoyed Rui Fei grasped Ji Yao's waist before carrying him up his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. "Shit..... Ah-Fei what are you doing? Put me down," said Ji Yao raising his upper body in an attempt to free himself but the sad part was that he couldn't.
It was as though Rui Fei's arm around his waist was made out of latrion, unbreakable and tough. Rui Fei wasn't in negotiating mode. He chided him saying, "Be good," before unceremoniously smacking his bottom with a loud Pa!

"Ah-Fei, do you want to fuckin due?!" yelled Ji Yao with a face as red as a ripe tomato. Rui Fei knew he went too far but there was no use being regretful. Mistakes were made and it was impossible to go back in time.
While passing Zhang Ci who was half lying on the floor touching his burning cheek Rui Fei deliberately kicked his leg. Zhang Ci who had suffered a double blow swore as he drew in a cold breath of air.
Rui Fei opened the door to the captain's cabin and walked in before shutting the door with a loud slam. It seemed the vinegar jar had tipped over and the strong stinging smell diffused to the entire ship.. Since mummy and daddy were having a heated discussion it was best that everyone made themselves scarce.
