[Welcome to War Grounds! As a new user, you are required to undergo through the introduction of the game, before playing your first match.]

"Tsk. Hey, SARS! Where are you now? My first battle will start after the tutorials!" Al was in a panic, not sparing any trace of attention to the game's description and instruction.

[War Grounds is a virtual reality game designed to test the technical skills and creativity of players.]

[All players will be granted with only one entry pass per day. As long as you are not defeated in any matches, you may continue to play the different modes offered in the game. However, if you're defeated, even in your first match, you'll wait for the next day to join again in matches.]

[There are three modes in this game.]

[First is the 'Ranked Mode - Party'. Up to a maximum of five team members, the group will be sent to a random battlefield, under arbitrary rules, which will be announced at the start of each game, and battle, other teams. If there are no available nor suitable matchups against other parties, the system will pit the challengers against a group of random players. Note that party mode is restricted by race and rank. You may only invite the same, allied or neutral races with the same rank, regardless of tier. For winning teams, the team leader may revive their slain members in exchange for equivalent merits - the higher the rank, the more merits required. Experience gained by the party in these matches is average in nature.]

[Second is the 'Ranked Mode - Solo'. Players will be sent to a random battlefield, with a random teammate, or in a one versus one battle. Each battlefield will have its own rules, which will be announced at the start of each game. There are times, wherein a hostile race will be your teammate and note that they may attack you. Experience gained in this mode is above average.]

[Third, and the last mode is the 'Open World Mode'. After winning straight two matches in a day, a player will be granted entry to the 'Open World of War Grounds', wherein they may grind equipment and skill books. Note that since this is 'open', 'player kill (PK)' is allowed. Those who are slain inside the Open World will drop 40% of their loots and will be barred from partaking that day's matches, including Ranked Mode - Solo or Party. Kills and deaths in Open World Mode will not affect the player's rank but will increase or decrease the player's EXP and LVL. After the daily reset, players that are already inside the Open World will not be required to partake two matches anymore and could continue playing until their subsequent death. Experience gained in this mode is below average.]

[There are nine ranks with five tiers each in the War Grounds' system. In ascending order:]

Rookie V, IV, III, II, I

Bronze V, IV, III, II, I

Silver V, IV, III, II, I

Gold V, IV, III, II, I

Dark Gold V, IV, III, II, I

Diamond V, IV, III, II, I

Platinum V, IV, III, II, I

King V, IV, III, II, I

Lord V, IV, III, II, I

'Special mode - God Mode' will be granted to players ranking higher than Lord I. More details will be revealed upon reaching this stage. To get an increase in rank by one tier, one has to win a match in either Solo or Party Ranked Mode. Conversely, a defeat also means a decrease in rank by one-tier.

[Attributes and Players Level]

200 is the current maximum level in the system. For each level up, players will get three attribute points to allocate. Three primary attributes are common to all players, regardless of race:

Agility

- for every one point of agility increases the user's attack speed by .05%, and dodge rate by .05%.

Strength

- for every one point of strength, adds 50 Hit Points (HP), 2 Stamina, and .5 Armor.

Intelligence

- for every one point of intelligence, adds 25 Mana Points (MP), and .5% Magic Resistance.

Other hidden attributes are unique to each race and class, and for players to discover.

[Equipment and Skills]

At the start of the game, all players will get a common loot box, wherein they could choose their starting equipment and three basic skills.

Equipment is divided into six main types, in ascending order

- White-coloured label

Elite Type

- Green-coloured label

Legendary Type

There are also unique weapons that could be received through limited events or products of craft:

As of the current meta, players will only be limited to a maximum of five active skill slots during battle. You'll start with three skill slots, which will increase by one for every five levels, reaching the maximum number of slots at Level 10. After that, you may continue to learn other skills, but they will stay in your arsenal, which you could access during preparation in each match for swapping or replacement.

"Shit! Shit! SARS! I was kidding a while ago. I need you here now. I'm not knowledgeable of this 'Creator Class'. Shit!" Al panicked.
