*Ding. The imperial Dragon sword returned to its owner. The letter was discarded from the inventory.

*Ding. Mirella's favorability decreases by 5.

*Ding. Dragon princess died. The main story quest of Llyne Kingdom will take into a different turn.

*F**k. I messed it up. That damn 20% chance of critical hit appeared at such a worst time. Sorry Mirella, looks like you have to mourn for your mother, today.

Damn… why is that becoming too strong also causes a problem… What a waste of trip… my favorability… my wish… I just decided to ask the port after I return…"

His eyes turned in a rage as he bellowed in anger, "I'll wipe those rebels out of existence once I return to the city…"

Just then, suddenly, the bow in his hand started to shake vigorously before it fell onto the ground.

As he was about to pick it up, it suddenly hovered in the air on its own as another notification rang in his ears…

"What the…"

*Ding. The spirit of the Dragon princess possessed the Seraph's bow, temporarily.

Just then, the bow lost the power and fell onto the ground before several light particles gathered to form a spirit that's identical to that of Dragon princess, only that she was much younger, in the form of a teenager.

As Wil jumped back in reflex, the teenage dragon princess bowed lightly, "I thank you savior for freeing me from that depraved life form of mine filled with nothing but grief and hatred. I want to give you something in return. Say, do you wish to become a Dragon?"

*Ding. You received a quest.

Description: For freeing her spirit from the mortal body, the spirit of Averil wishes to reward. But, she has no treasures to give you in return. So, she offers you the power to become a Dragon.

Rewards: Change your race into Half-Dragon and Half-Angel.

"Hybrid race? Isn't that supposed to arrive last, after the Valkyries, Vampires, and Werewolves? No, it isn't exactly a Hybrid race but similar to it since it was only available for humans.

Getting such an overpowered race at such an early stage can essentially help my goal for sure but the only issue is its exp needed to level up will be twice than usual.

If I summon Felix and share my exp, then, it'll be even harder for me to level up. Not to mention, I will be losing the 20% race buff… But, the stats increase during the transformation can make up for that. Although I won't lose my divinity, still…

Argh… What am I thinking so deeply for… I'm 200 levels lower than Averil and yet, I have beaten her…"

After thinking for a long time about the pros and cons, Wil calmly nodded, "sure. I accept."

Upon hearing his response, Averil smiled, "Good. Here I go…"

Averil floated in front of him and put her hand on his hand before reciting her native Dragon language. For the process to go smoothly, Wil didn't put any resistance and accepted the magic energy that's flowing through his body while changing his body composition to change his race.

But, suddenly in the middle of the ceremony, the magic energy flow stopped and he received a notification.

*Ding. The process has been interrupted by Averil. The race change failed.

"Huh… What happened?" asked Wil with a surprised look on his face as he was expecting it would be finished soon.

With a look of exhaustion on her face and the increase of transparency of the spirit, she apologized, "I'm sorry. It looks like my spiritual power isn't enough to turn you into one…"

Just when Wil was disappointed and about to say, 'It's fine', he quickly swallowed the words as he heard her say, "However, there is a way…"

"Hmm, what is it?" asked Wil.

Averil didn't reply this time and entered the bow once again.

*Ding. Averil wishes to merge with the bow. Accept?

"Eh? A Spiritual bow? Like that famed Excalibur of SupremeConqueror's?"

As Wil pressed on accept, the bow started to glow for a while before teleporting into his hand while Averil appeared once again, this time, in her youthful appearance from the story mode.

Without waiting for even a second, once again, she activated the ceremony. While a tremendous amount of magic energy began to flow through Wil, the person in question was busy admiring his bow while inspecting its stats.

"What the… 50%, Oh, damn… I f****d up…"

In an instant, all of his happiness drained away as Wil realized that his exp gain is now only one fourth, and his share will even drop to one-eighth if he summons Felix or he was in a party with someone else…

"Sigh… I don't know whether to laugh or cry, now. On one side, I gain tremendous strength and on the other side, I have to work even harder and spend so much time on leveling from now onwards… Wait a second. If I got stronger, can't I just hunt high-level monsters and…"

*Ding. The ceremony is finished. Your race is changed to Half-Angel, Half-Dragon.

*Ding. Dragon mode is added to the skill panel.

*Ding. New skills added to the Dragon mode.

*Ding. Angel race passive buff is removed.

While nothing changed in his appearance overall, Wil felt a little bit of rage in his heart as if he wants to go out there and kill the players for no reason.

Calming down himself, he opened the skill panel and inspected the Dragon mode.

"Hmm, not bad but compared to my other skills, they pale in comparison. So, it might not be much use to me, at least, right now. Perhaps… after a year when the Dragon Kingdom opens… Oh, I almost forgot about the drops. Let's see…"

Llyne City;

At a restaurant that belongs to the Starlight guild, Rigel and Starlight are once again having a discussion about the terms they were going to put for an alliance with the Scarlet guild.

"No, Rigel. This kind of terms will be rejected on the spot. If we want to set the terms, we have to be in a position to do that. You saw how powerful he is.

Even 7000 elites of Dreamwalkers can't even defeat him. Our Elite strength is more or less the same as them. That's why we had to be more submissive, right now."

Upon hearing Starlight's opinion, Rigel asked, "so, what is your plan?"

Starlight smiled, "I will gift the town scroll expressing my goodwill and then, Starlight will withdraw from the eight cities in exchange for control in the capital city."

"What…"

"Guild Leader, are you crazy. How can you give up a town scroll that we acquired with so much of difficulty?" asked Rigel as he stood up and slammed the table with both of his hands in a little bit of anger, making the chair fell from the impact while the food on the plate didn't even move an inch, surprisingly.

As his actions attracted attention from a few players as well as the natives nearby, Starlight gestured him to sit down, "calm down, Rigel. It's just a town scroll. If I can get one, then, I can get another…"

"B***s**t. To buy that scroll, we didn't even put anything in the guild store and traded all the equipment in the guild shop in exchange for fame.

You even lost the chance to become an Earl.

And now, you want to give it to Time Traveler just a sign of goodwill? This time, I won't accept your decision. Did you forget that it's our hope of… " Rigel scolded his guild leader for a while before Starlight interrupted him with a serious tone, this time, "I told you to calm down Rigel. Hear me out, first."

Looking at Starlight's expression, as Rigel quickly sat down obediently, Starlight continued with his explanation. As time passes on, Rigel's facial expression changed from displeasure to calmness and then to amazement.

"I'm really sorry, guild leader. I just…"

Starlight waved his hands with a smile, "I know. I can understand that you are frustrated because you worked very hard to collect equipment to help me in acquiring that scroll while I was busy with WBT. I really thank you for that but, we need Time Traveler on our side more than this simple scroll."

"Guild Leader, I…" Rigel sighed as he doesn't know what to say as he was frustrated not because he worked hard for it but he felt the town's scroll will solve all of their problems with funding.

Once it was constructed, they no longer have to depend on the funds sent by their parent company. That was what he wants to say but in the end, Rigel didn't bother to clear the misunderstanding and nodded, "yeah. That's true."

Meanwhile, at the Marsh Islands;

Wil flapped his wings and dodged aside as the giant shark attempted to snap him with its sharp teeth while Felix was sitting on the beach, watching the battle and occasionally helping Wil with 'Bark' skill.

Aiming at its mouth, Wil conjured an ice arrow before shooting at the target. As the ice arrow about to pierce through its mouth, it forcefully changed its direction a little at the last second and the arrow pierced one of the teeth before activating the freezing effect, which didn't last even half a second.

Looking at the cooldown time of Heavenly push skill, Wil sighed, "It's still more than 20 minutes away and I can't use Golem in waters."

Suddenly, as something clicked in his mind, "How about trying that new skill? I have the perfect partner to test it on."

"Activate Dragon mode, partial Transformation."
