"Mrs. Couvreur, I'm afraid I have to leave now."

Upon looking at his serious expression, Sierra's mother nodded, "I understand. Let's meet again for lunch, some other time."

"Sure," replied Wil with a smile before rushing towards the exit while dialing a number.

An automated voice replied that it was busy. Wil tried it again and again until it rang and was picked up by Aster.

"Hello, Young master! I apologize for ignoring your call. Storm is on the other line. He'll get angry with me if I disconnect his call. Can you tell me when your meeting with Mrs. Couvreur will be done? He's already at Hailey City, waiting for us."

Without minding his mistake, Wil patiently answered, "It was finished. I'm returning to the hotel. Before that, you need to…"

Just then, something clicked in his mind, and Wil suddenly stopped talking for a couple of seconds, before his voice turned serious, "Aster, did you have a talk with Mrs. Couvreur? I remember she knows my identity, at least my name even though we are supposed to be strangers."

Upon hearing him, Aster, on the other side, quickly denied, "of course not, Young master. The guards that are following you gave her a little bit of warning."

"Warning? When? I was with her the whole time… Don't tell me…" Wil's frown became deeper as well as his voice, "was my mobile phone tapped?"

As the other side went silent for a long time, Wil continued, "We'll talk about it, later. But, first, I need a capsule. Arrange it quickly at whatever price…"

"Yes" replied Aster without asking further.

Two hours later;

*Ding. Welcome to War Online.

As soon as Wil logged in the game, dozens of notifications started popping up.

Ignoring all the messages sent by the allies, Wil quickly sent a message to Evie as Aster forgot to take the chip along with him while Hyori went offline.

Time Traveler: SnowDew, I'm online. Please update me on the current situation.

In no time, he received a reply from Evie.

SnowDew: Big Brother, finally, you are online. What took you so long?

SnowDew: Forget it. Where are you, right now? Quickly, come to the Imperial training grounds at Capital city to join the army. The battle against the King is already started.

Reading at her message, Wil muttered with a frown on his face, "This girl… Did she really think we have a chance against the palace? Mirella is a half-dragon. Once she transforms, there's no stopping her."

Time Traveler: What about the invasion?

SnowDew: According to our sources, there are two battlegrounds. One is at East Ocean City, and the other is at the city of Blackburn along with the towns around it.

"Blackburn?" A frown appeared on Wil as he quickly opened the kingdom map. "This one is quite near to Eldershore region…"

Time Traveler: Okay, then. Listen carefully. Our guild won't be participating in the rebellion, and focus on the invasion, instead. Let everyone know the same.

SnowDew: Why? Isn't this the best chance? Supreme Master said this is the right time for you to become the king, and take control of the entire kingdom.

"Supreme Master?" Wil's frown became even deeper after realizing the identity of the one behind the idea. But, then, thinking of confronting him later, Wil sent one final message to Evie.

Time Traveler: No, there's another heir to the throne. Anyway, it doesn't matter. Tell everyone else that those who chose rebels must stand down or else, I have to cut them down myself for going against the king.

After sending the message to Evie, Wil opened the guild chat and was taken aback to see hundreds of people online.

"Scarlet has grown this much in these last few days? 2244 players? Huh? Looks like this little granddaughter of the Antolov family went lazy and just accepting anyone who applied. I need to clean up this mess after this is over," mumbled Wil as he ordered everyone else to stay away from the palace while messaging the same to the leaders of ally guilds to do the same.

While there was nothing but cheers in the guild chat, there's not much of a response from his allies as most of them already set out for the capital city under the leadership of Supreme Master, leaving their home ground to others to defend.

It was only after then did he place his attention on the notifications, sent by the system.

*Ding. The quest, Spy on Rikilda, is failed.

*Ding. You accepted the quest, Invasion.

*Ding. A rebellion has occurred in the kingdom. Please choose a side between the rebels and the King.

As soon as Wil decided to choose Mirella over the rebels, another quest popped up before him.

*Ding. You received a quest. Protect Mirella.

"Huh? What's this? I thought it would be killing rebels." Wil clicked on it.

Description: King Mirella is in grave danger with enemies inside and outside the palace. Meet the king.

Reward: Unknown.

After accepting the quest, Wil took out the Price medallion that was hanging around his neck and used teleportation that lets him teleport to anywhere within the Llyne kingdom.

Blackburn city, Llyne Kingdom;

In the outskirts of the city, an army containing thousands of NPC soldiers and tens of thousands of players under the leadership of Starlight guild was fighting against ten thousand enemy soldiers, who were cutting down the players like tofu, and sending them to nearby resurrection point.

As there was no penalty upon dying, the players became bold and reckless, yet, with facing no success except for a few exceptionals who are raking War points like crazy with the players Starlight and Rigel, on the top two.

Meanwhile, at the outskirts of a wild zone, a ten thousand elite player army under the leadership of an unknown player was marching down the south towards the capital.

Leading the player army were the ten Royal knights of Zuweth kingdom, with one of them being the fourth Prince who was sitting on a giant white crocodile, the guardian beast of Zuweth.

As for the leader of this party, Archangel Nebula, the stern-looking old man was flying in ease with two pairs of angelic wings on his back, resisting the restriction placed by the system, across the kingdom.

His gaze fell on the Imperial palace that's located a thousand miles away, and a smirk appeared on his face, "looks like you are waiting for something, Raziel. Let's see what you have planned…"

*Roar**Roar*Roar*Roar*

As they reached the edge of the forest, Continuous roars sounded in their surroundings followed by a team of eleven players, who are sitting on top of their summons in an inverted V-formation appeared in their view.

The old man glanced at them from the sky, and a frown appeared on him as his gaze landed on the boy in the front, who was standing at the tip of the formation.

"I'll leave them to you, your highness," spoke Nebula before flapping his wings and glided across the sky like a lightning.

Meanwhile, the unknown player, who was hiding his identity with the mask of tranquility, sneered. "These fools… Did they think they can stop a mighty army with just them? Even one knight was more than a match to them."

As if the Prince read his mind, he quickly ordered his mount to stop advancing and turned his head before pointing his finger at a Royal knight, "you over there. Get rid of them. It's beneath my status to take care of such weaklings."

"Yes, your highness." The Royal knight saluted him and brandished his spear, "Raiga, let's go."

Upon hearing the orders, the heroic grade horse started rushing towards them as if it was participating in a race.

Looking at the incoming level-250 knight, the 14-year-old boy, who was standing on the back of an ape, spoke, "Duplicate," and an Armored Ape that's twice as big as an average adult appeared before him with beating its chest thrice before rushing towards the enemy.

Kong

Species: Ape

Grade: Heroic

Status: Mutated

Level: 200

HP: 104 million

Looking at the incoming enemy, the knight raised the spear before thrusting towards its chest.

Just as it was about to pierce its chest, a voice spoke from above, "Kong, counterattack with Multi-arms. Use, Barrage of Fists."

As the knight was confused where the voice is coming from, all of a sudden, two another arms appeared from either side, right below its armpits, and caught the spear before the other two arms gave a solid punch to his head, successively until his head was exploded, shocking everyone around.
