Hailey City, Western Continent;

At a certain apartment on the 3rd floor, a middle-aged man in his forties screamed as he wears his shoes, "Baby, I'm getting late. Hurry up."

"Just two minutes, Dad. I can't find my Biology notes." A voice replied from one of the rooms.

"Gosh, Scott. What are you in a hurry for? You are the boss. It's not like someone will scold for being late." His beautiful wife in her late thirties stated as she was stuck on to television.

"Honey, didn't I tell you last night that I have an important meeting? The Chairman's son is visiting our branch, today," The man gave a meaningful smile as he reminded her that he was in the list of nominations for the position of the Vice-President of the Company.

"Oh! Really? I forgot because I was busy getting tossed up all over the bed, last night..."

Their 18-year-old son spilled his coffee, upon hearing her comment, "Mom…"

As the man glared at her, the woman stared back, "what! You are the one…"

Before she loose tongue once again, Scott interrupted her, "Alright, alright… My fault…"

He once again called his daughter, "Baby, it's fine if you can't find it. I'll call your teacher and explain to him, okay."

"Dad… I'll drop Mia at the school in the cab." Rey urged him to go since it was important.

"Ah! Really… Thanks, son… I knew I can count on you…" Scott then, hurried outside, and took the stairs to save time.

After the husband let away, the lazy and irresponsible wife once again stuck to her tv, not paying attention to the kids, who left for school, after a while.

Meanwhile, outside of the apartment, two vehicles were parked for a while ago.

Inside of the vehicle, Wil was watching some videos of War Online, uploaded by Bran.

The only difference is that he wasn't alone, this time. Sierra was with him.

All the comments say that the couple looks good, whether they are a couple in real life, etc…

Reading them indeed made Wil angry a bit but for some reason, he also felt, it didn't bother him as much as before.

Perhaps he figured out after his trip to Ecrin that because he never enrolled into Ecrin University and become Sierra's bestie, both of them just became closer, a lot earlier.

"Young Master, the two of them also left. Lady Scarlet is alone, now." Silver spoke as he turned around.

He put the mobile back into his pocket and nodded, "good, let's go."

Leaving Aster behind, Silver and Wil entered the apartment building and went to the third floor.

As they reached the flat, Wil saw the door wasn't even closed. "Isn't she too careless? What if a thief breaks in…" Wil mumbled as he knocked on the door.

"Excuse me…"

The woman, who was watching a tv drama while lying on her sofa, quickly get up, "yes, coming."

Just as her eyes lay on Silver, she instinctively took a step back, "Silver?", her attention placed on the youth beside him.

"Phil?"

She shook her head. "No, he isn't it." She carefully stares at him for a few seconds and called out with a shaking voice, "Williard?"

Wil, who was standing outside of the apartment, opened his mouth, "good. You quickly recognize your biological son, Mrs. Quilton."

His expression isn't that of a son that longed to see his mom and neither his tone contained coldness that might indicate his hate for his mother who abandoned him.

Wil's expressions and words were exceptionally calm as if he was talking to a stranger.

Even when he addressed her formally, Silver felt it was so natural and thought whether Wil really doesn't care about his mom.

What he missed that, for 24 years, Wil's imagination of his mom is someone else. The person before him only reminds him of his master, who trained him for four years.

Other than that, there are no feelings in him that left for his mom, that's in front of him nor does he want to develop it, although Mia and Rey are a different case.

"Can we come in?" Silver asked her as she stood there like a statue.

"Ah! Yes."

Both of them took the seats, and Wil didn't open his mouth.

Silver felt the atmosphere turned awkward all of a sudden, realizing she doesn't know what to speak and the young master is probably waiting for her to start.

He broke the silence, "It's nice to see you, Ma'am, after all these years. How are you doing?"

"Yes, I'm doing fine, Silver." She replied quickly but attention was on Wil, who was silent.

"How… How are you, Williard?" Taking a breath, she asked him finally.

But, she received another calm reply and ended the conversation. "I'm great, Mrs. Quilton."

As she was wondering whether to speak about his dad or not, Silver then said, "Sorry for the sudden visit, Ma'am. We want to fix an appointment but…"

He glanced at Wil from the corner of his eyes and paused for a couple of seconds to say the excuse that he prepared beforehand.

But, before he continued, "it's alright, Silver. So, Uhh…"

She turned towards Wil again and tried to continue the conversation, "Williard, you are a college student, right?"

"Yeah, I enrolled at Leafway University," answered Wil.

"Leafway City?" She was taken aback a little bit, "but that's so far away. So, you aren't staying with Phil?"

"That's…" A trouble expression appeared on Silver.

Before he explains it, Wil answered, "Dad passed away. It's been two weeks."

"Oh my god…" She was taken aback by the news, her eyes widened because of the shock, I'm so Sorry…" She put her palm on Wil's arms but Wil, who didn't found any sadness in her eyes, stood up from his seat, "don't be. It's not like whether he lives or dies has anything to do with you."

"Can we have some water, please?" Silver then interjected before Wil say more hurtful words.

"Yes," She sounded a little bit disappointed and went to the kitchen to bring the glass of water for both of them.

Meanwhile, Silver grabbed Wil's arm and gestured him to sit before whispering, "What are you doing, Young Master? You have found your mother after so long. Why start with such words…"

"They are divorced, Silver." Wil calmly replied, "And Mrs. Quilton has her own family. Why my Dad's death does has anything to with her. If that's not the case, why haven't you called her for the funeral?"

His voice isn't low that it can't reach the kitchen. Naturally, Scarlet heard him. But, not knowing how to explain, she didn't come out until the living room became silent.

As she stepped out of the kitchen, she saw Wil was looking at their family picture.

"What grade she is in?" Wil suddenly asked her, who just passed him with a platter that had two glasses filled with water.

"You mean, Mia? She's now sixth grade. And Rey is a high school senior, by the way."

Without turning around, Wil then, threw out bait, "Is Rey, your husband's son from his previous marriage?"

"Ah! No, he isn't. He is…"

Wil then interrupted and asked another question, lingering in his mind, "then, is he really, Andrea's son?"

"Huh!" The platter on her hands almost slipped and Silver supported the stupefied Scarlet.

"Did she return?" Most people will ask things like how do you know but Scarlet's response was a little bit different.

As Wil turned around, he also saw a slight worry on her face as if she doesn't want her sister to return.
