Maybe, he is missing his daughter too much. While Wil was busy with quests outside of the kingdom, Flame Emperor (Reuben Antolov) left East Ocean City and joined the Scarlet-B guild under his daughter.
Originally, he has no problem with him but after knowing their real-life identities, Wil's feelings towards them took a downturn.
He still treats SnowDew like his little sister as she was innocent but on the other hand, he can't say the same with her father.
After all, he's Dexter's only son and the one that supposed to acquire Dexter's inheritance in the end. Wil doesn't know what he is planning behind the back either.
Because of him, Wil wouldn't even try to converse with his real sister, worrying that she might become his liability if he were to connect the dots and report to that old man.

A while later, Akiko returned to the Vulture city along with her advisor, Kiyumi appointed to her.
Wil knew about his identity from Akiko previously.
Publicly, He was a mathematics professor at Ares University but in secret, he is a retired agent of Galaxy Net. Akiko claimed that not only does he possess great wisdom, he's also smart.
Just one look at Wil's in-game picture, long ago, he informed Akiko about Wil's intention behind his fake appearance.
And now, by observing the people around them, he also came to a conclusion that the color on his name turned purple must be because of an enormous number of killings. That's why he was extremely feared by natives.

As someone who participated in the world auction before, he knew their purpose. He kept it aside.

He clicked on the party channel and then, selected the four people, Mia, SnowDew, Athena, and Doctor Len.
As they accepted his invitation, they reappeared beside him.
Coincidentally, Mia appeared beside him. It brought him happiness for a second before she stood up and exchanged her seat with Evie's.
Akiko felt uncomfortable for reason. Maybe, she's jealous or maybe, it's another reason, even she doesn't know it yet…
However, she didn't let it bother for too much time as the screens in the auction house were switched on, followed by an appearance of a beautiful A.I. on the platform.
