Arc 3 Chapter 10 Part 2
The city’s wall was very high, more than ten meters tall. The inner part of the wall was made from dirt and mud. The outer portion was an iron wall, made by metal-base ability users. The outerwall was so smooth and even zombies weren’t able to even climb it. Behind the city’s walls, were cannons and ability users, who took turns guarding the gates. The protection was so tight, a sparrow wouldn’t be able to fly in unnoticed.
“Hey, you, the ones with ability above Level Two can go in for free, and bring one family member each. Ordinary people will need to pay ten pieces of crystal nucleus each. Before you’re allowed to go in, you’ll spend an hour in the isolation room.” A slightly built, nasty man casually said, as he spat out melon seed’s shells out of his mouth with “pei pei”.
The team’s crystal nucleus were all given to Yang Yuxing for safekeeping.
Yang Yuxing took a step forward, his face timely adjusted into a pleasant smile, “This sir, our team has a total of eleven Second-Level ability users! Excluding the eleven family members we can bring in, there are still two dozen left. How about letting us in for a total of two hundred crystal nucleus, how’s that?”
“If you can fucking pay, then just pay! If you are not paying, then get lost!” The man impatiently said, as if he was a lord. But the moment he turned his head and saw Shen Jiayan, a pair of triangular eyes1 looked straight.
Compared to this man, the ones he used to play with were nothing; they’re all so damn ugly and tacky. Look at those eyes of his, they’re provocative in every way. And look at that skin, in this apocalypse, how could one have skin that tender and white? If that mouth could suck his…… and that body’s temperament, he would have loved to have a piece of him.
Zhou Ming was originally a small-time gangster. He was one of those gutter rats who could be stepped on by anyone before the apocalypse. But after the apocalypse came, he followed the right people, and that’s why he became a small leader of the base.
Zhou Ming was one of those people who are mentally distorted. Before the apocalypse, the more unattainable a person was, the more he wanted to torment them to death. In this base, the number of boys he tormented to death wasn’t anywhere close to a hundred but it was still several dozens.

Zhou Ming threw down the melon seed shells in his hand, and looked at Shen Jiayan with hunger in his eyes, hoping to swallow him right at this moment. He was itching to go in Shen Jiayan’s direction and reach out to drag Shen Jiayan towards him.

Luo Shaoxuan didn’t answer him, his eyes were filled with vigilance, refusing to let down his guard. The ability of this man is very strong!
“We can do it this way. You help me complete a few jobs, and I will help protect your people. How about it?” The man arrogantly stated, as his eyes swept disdainfully over the people behind Luo Shaoxuan.
Luo Shaoxuan felt Shen Jiayan tightly grasp his clothes from behind, indicating that he must not agree.
In a corner where Luo Shaoxuan could not see, Zhou Ming said with deceitful mouse- like eyes, “Boss, do you really plan to take in that guy called Luo Shaoxuan? Wouldn’t it be giving him too much face?”
