Chapter 101: Extra Chapter: Valentine's Day Special Part 1

Hello my dear readers! I know that it has been days since the V-day but I still wanted to give you all my gift. A special chapters for you all, it is longer than my regular chapters which is why I did my best to cut it into two parts. I hope you will all like this special chapter. It was three years ago before Lucas got Ethan pregnant with their first child, Asher. A day before V-Day or Valentine's Day both Ethan and Lucas were preoccupied with their own work.
"Dr. Ethan, are you done with your rounds?" asked Dr. Anthony who was standing at the nurse station.
"Yes, I just need to visit one last patient," said Ethan as he fills up the patient's folder that he asked from the nurse that is in the nurse station.
"Oh, is that the VIP patient? How is his condition?"
"He needs to have another surgery next week but almost everything else is doing alright. There are no complications from the last surgery but there are times when he doesn't listen to me. Instead of resting, he told his assistant to bring his work here to the hospital *sigh*"
"Hahaha!! Typical workaholic"
"*sigh* right, I remember once when Daniel told me that Lucas is also a workaholic and even got himself admitted here twice and yet he still did his work. *sigh* if it wasn't for mom forbidding Daniel from giving any work to Lucas who knows what kind of sickness he had now"
"*giggle* speaking of your husband, do you have a gift for him ready?"
"Huh?"As if he heard a weird question, Ethan become so confused that is even visible on his face
"Huh?" The question that Dr. Anthony just asked wasn't that weird but based on the reaction of his friend he too became a little confused.
"what gift? Why do I have to prepare a gift? It's not his birthday nor our anniversary"
"Wait, don't you know what day is the day tomorrow"
"tomorrow?"
"yes"
"Dr. Ethan, it's valentine's day tomorrow rather 30 minutes from now it's valentine's day." Said one of the nurses. There are a total of three nurses in the nurse station at that time and as they watch the two doctors talk to each other. And when they saw the confused look on Ethan, one of them couldn't hold it anymore and speak out. As she said that in just 30 minutes it was going to be Valentine's Day cause it was already 11:30 pm. And all of them in there are working on a night shift, although Ethan wasn't supposed to be working that late since he only had to work until early evening. However, one of the surgeons who were to be on a night shift had to leave early due to a family emergency. Thus, the omega had to stay until late at night.

"Based on your reaction, I can tell that you have forgotten the date tomorrow. So you didn't prepare anything for your hardworking husband" teases Dr. Anthony.
"I think I should go and see my VIP patient…now, excuse me" Ethan just excuse himself and left everyone else. He didn't say anything anymore since he did forget about the current date and the occasion tomorrow. Every year he prepares a gift for Lucas, whether it is for his birthday, valentine's day, Christmas, and their wedding anniversary. But to think that he had forgotten that it is valentine's day in just a few minutes made him speechless.

After visiting his VIP patient, Ethan went straight to their locker room to change. He check the time on his phone and there he saw it is now 12:15 midnight, after checking the time he browse some items that he can buy as a gift for Lucas. While he was browsing he receive a call from the alpha himself.
---PHONE CONVERSATION---
"Hello hubby" Ethan answered the call immediately out of panic
"is my wifey done with his work?" sweetly said Lucas
"Yes, why do you ask?"
"I'll pick you up then"
"no need, I know that you were also busy with your work plus I brought my car with me"
"No, I'll pick you up since I am currently downstairs waiting for my dear beloved wife to go down"
"WHAT?! Wait have you been waiting long there? I'm going down now"
"*giggle* you don't need to rush, I just arrive here so take your time"
"I'll be there in 10 minutes, bye" Ethan then hung up the phone without waiting for the other to say anything in return. He immediately finish changing his clothes and got his bag with him before going out of the locker room. He passes by the nurse station to say goodbye to his co-workers who are still working until morning.
Upon arriving at the entrance of the hospital, he was able to see the car of Lucas at first glance. As he walks closer to it, Lucas got out of the car and walk a little closer to his wife while holding a bouquet.
"Happy Valentines Day My love," said Lucas
"Thank you. I'm sorry, I wasn't able to prepare anything for you" With a sad look Ethan accepted the flowers while apologizing for forgetting to prepare his gift.
"*smile* I don't think my lovely wife cannot give anything to me"
"*looks straight in the eye* then I'll give you my whole time for the whole day! Can that be counted as a gift from me?"
"It can but don't you have work tomorrow?"
"it's my day off so don't worry about it"
"Good then, let's go"
"huh? Go where?"
"you'll know" Lucas pulled his wife towards the front seat of his car. After securing that Ethan is comfortably sitting inside, he went towards the driver's seat. He didn't ask any of his bodyguards or his assistant to drive for him today. He only wanted to be together with his wife without any third wheels with them. Also, he gave all of them a day off so that they could spend the rest of the day together with their wives or lovers.
After 1 and a half hours of driving, they finally arrive at the destination that Lucas got for them to stay the night. There they entered an exclusive members-only beach resort that has 30 cottages that were owned by their members and one big Hotel in the middle.
Lucas directly went towards one of the cottages that were near the beach, that cottage was the one he had bought back before he married Ethan. After he had married the omega, he would always tell the other about the things that he buys whether it is big or small as long as it is for the two of them.
"Where are we?" asked Ethan, it was his first time in that place, and to see such a great place he wonder where they are.
"We're in a private beach resort that is owned by one of Mikel's friends. I and Mikel got membership in this place along with each of our own cottages. Let's go inside, I already ordered them to have our dinner ready." Said Lucas. He took his hand and walk towards the cottage that had a glass roof. Everything else is like a modern type of cottage would look like aside from the roof that was made of glass.
Once inside the cottage the whole place was prepared for their arrival, to some it might look like a place for a newlywed couple. With all the rose petals all over the place, candle-lit dinner, romantic music that goes along with everything, and inside the bedroom there is a heart shape of petals in bed while in the middle of it is a gift box.
Ethan was so shocked with the whole detailed decorations and the way it was all prepared for him and his husband was nicely done. As the omega looks around in shock, Lucas gave his wife a back hug as he asks him what did he think of the whole place.. Instead of answering his husband, the only thing that Ethan did was to give him a very passionate kiss which the other returned lovingly.
