When he received the text message from Yasuhiro, he thought that they would be meeting at a certain restaurant but somehow it ended up at the house of his cousin. Grandpa Go wanted Ethan to be the one to run the company which is fine with me since I need to run my own company too. We had been friends since high school, he is also close to Minami which is why we had decided to just have dinner here. While the other one is Mr. Lucas Smith, he is a business partner and friend of Allen. He is interested to start a business here in our country that is why Allen was showing him around for a while to see if he will start up a business here or not." While Yasuhiro was introducing the two men to Ethan, Ethan walked near them to shake hands with both of them.
"I am so glad to meet you, Mr. Aoki, I hope the two of us could start a great partnership." Said Allen when he and Ethan were shaking hands.
"Pleasure to meet you too Mr. White, I am still lacking when it comes to business management but I also hope that we can have a great partnership," said Ethan in which he earned the nod of Allen.
"Nice to meet you, Mr. Aoki," said Lucas which made Ethan shock when he heard Lucas talk to him in Japanese.
"Wait, You know how to speak our language?" asked Ethan while he is shaking hands with Lucas, Lucas on the other hand just gesture to him that he only knows a little.
"Anyway Ethan, I called you here to hear about the proposal of Allen. He wanted to establish a partnership with our company and his. He will be expanding his business here and since our company also has the side of the architectural industry that he wanted us to help him out." Yasuhiro had been doing a lot of work for Go Corporation. Go Corporation originally specializes only in furniture making, however ever since Yasuhiro became the acting president, He asked the permission of his grandfather to expand the business in another sector. He is a graduate of architecture while his wife was a graduate with an interior designer degree. The company that they have to establish was mainly for interior design while they still hire other architects or engineers. Which made him decide to propose expanding Go Corporation in Architecture Industry. When Grandpa Go saw the proposal, he agreed to it, and after that Yasuhiro started contacting some of his schoolmates or friends who are in those fields to invite them in working on the company. He also started having contacts with a known architect, engineer, or even exterior and interior designer. The first year of that industry in Go Corporation was a little bit bumpy however it became a lot more successful as the years go by. And at present, the company now have a lot of clients and business proposal involving in both furniture section and Architectural section.
"I see, alright, If I could be of any help please let me know" Ethan had been learning about running a business under the supervision of his father. He might still be lacking but when it comes to new ideas he has a lot.
The four of them started to talk about business until the time Minami knocks at their door to let them know that dinner is ready. During dinner, Minami never wanted to talk about work nor business at the dining table which everyone respected. They are all just having a fun conversation while eating their meal. Unknown to Ethan, the eyes of Lucas would always take a glimpse of him. One could say that Lucas is attracted to Ethan ever since he saw him enter the study room of Yasuhiro.
When their dinner ended all of them were sitting in the living room to continue what they are discussing in the study room of Yasuhiro. This time Minami joined the conversation, sharing her thoughts and ideas like what Ethan did. Ethan on the other hand was playing with his Niece Nina while listening to the discussion. Although Lucas was not part of the whole business thing that they are talking about he still joined the conversation while playing also with Nina.
A little while later, Ethan receives a call from Capital General Hospital asking him if he could go there. It was an emergency call coming from one of the nurses of the emergency room, telling him that they are receiving a lot of patients at that moment due to a road accident that involves a lot of cars. They need a surgeon at that moment and it just so happen that some of the surgeons that were on duty are already inside the OR doing their scheduled operations and some of the sudden operations leave them no option but to call Ethan. When Ethan received that call he stood up until the call ended, he then excuses himself from everyone else telling them that he needed to go.
"Ethan, who called you?" asked Minami who took Nina from Ethan.
"It's from the hospital that I am working at, they are receiving a lot of patients, and some of those needed surgery. But most of the surgeons that are on night duty are already inside the OR. I'm so sorry Bother Yasuhiro, Sister Minami, Mr. White, and Mr. Smith. I need to go now" Ethan was getting his stuff as he is explaining who called him. When they all heard what Ethan said they understood that he needed to do his duty as a doctor.
"It's alright Ethan, You can go and please drive safely, ok?" Minami saw that Ethan is in a hurry and got worried that he might get into an accident.
"I will, thank you for the dinner sister and I will just visit the office brother Yasuhiro! I'll be going now" Ethan rush out of the house of his cousin and went inside his car. As soon as Ethan left the vicinity they all went inside the house again. While everyone else went inside the house, Lucas stayed outside looking in the direction where Ethan's car went. He knew that what he is feeling was not just a mere attraction but something else He even asked himself if had fallen in love at first sight with Ethan cause if he did then he wants Ethan to be his partner or if possible his wife. He never had that kind of feeling before even towards his previous lovers that he only treated as a business partner. He wanted to confirm his feeling but he just didn't know-how.
