Ethan was finally done taking a shower, his conversation with Mikel got longer that Lucas had to remind him about his plan of going out that afternoon. Ethan rushes towards the bathroom to have a quick shower while the two brothers just waited for him in the living room.
"I wonder how Ken is doing these days, I miss him so much. I want to tell him everything that my so-called family did to me." Ethan started to talk to himself while he is getting ready. He only needs to dry his hair since he is done dressing up, he is not a woman who takes a long time getting ready but for some reason, he wanted to look good in front of his lover whom he had not met for a long time.
Once done, he went out of his room and told the two alphas that he is ready. Lucas stood up and told him that Daniel and Leo are now waiting downstairs together with the bodyguards. While Mikel would stay a little longer inside the suite since his brother left him a few things to work with plus his lover Louis would be calling him via video call after Lucas and Ethan left.
Lucas led Ethan to the elevator that they need to take, their ride are now at the front of the hotel waiting for them to arrive. Just like how Ethan came to the hotel, he need to cover his face with either sunglasses or a mask that covers half of his face. Ethan choose the sunglasses since it was still afternoon and it is a little weird for him to wear a mask in a hotel lobby that is very busy during that time. It would attract a lot more attention than anything else so he chose to play safe with the glasses.
"Ethan, what is that you are holding?" asked Lucas, they safely arrived inside their car that is now driving in the direction that Ethan had told them. There are only four of them inside the black Mercedez-Benz car. Together with Ethan and Lucas are Daniel and the head bodyguard of Lucas's team of bodyguards. There is another car with the same color and brand and inside that car were Leo and three more bodyguards. They would be following the car in front of them since they have no idea where they will go plus all of them are foreign to the country.
"This is my surprise present for Ken, our anniversary is next month so I want to give him a present, I asked Louis to make this for me. Ah! but I designed it so that Ken would know that I designed it while thinking about him and our future" Ethan explains it happily that Lucas had to look away in case his jealous face would be visible.
"I see, that is very sweet of you, I just hope that he would appreciate it whole-heartedly" deep inside the heart of Lucas, he wanted to yell at Ethan and repeatedly tell him about what Ken did. But seeing the happy face of the omega, he couldn't bring himself to say it.

Half an hour later they arrived in front of the family house of Sato's where the parents and grandparents of Ken were living. It is even big enough to be called a mansion but the family living there prefers it to be called a house. It might be a big house but they didn't have a big garden and the house was just a few steps away from the gate. Ethan look over the Sato house and he got excited over the fact that he will soon see his lover.
"It's time…" said Ethan as he was about to get out of the car but was stopped by Lucas.
"if you need any help just call or text me, ok?" said Lucas
"*giggle* alright! I'll be back later" Ethan then left the car and went directly in front of the Sato house gate. Just before he press the doorbell, one of the maids who is familiar with Ethan saw him and immediately let him in. She knew that the whole family of Sato would want to see the omega after a year.
"Young master Ethan! long time no see, how have you been?" said the maid to Ethan while she opens the gate to let the omega in.
"I'm good, thank you. Is Ken inside? I heard that he is back in the city after working in the countryside. I want to surprise him today so is he here?" Ethan wanted to see Ken as soon as possible which is why he asked the maid as soon as he replied to her question.
"Yes, young master Ken is inside, why don't you go in while I go and inform everyone of your arrival."
"sure! thanks, I will look for him then." While the two of them are talking they reach the front door, it might be a short conversation but that is enough for both of them. The maid opened the door to let Ethan in and once they are inside the house, the maid went towards the stairs to call out her bosses which are the whole family of Sato.
Meanwhile, Ethan walks towards the living room, his steps are not in a hurry since he wants to reminisce about the familiar surroundings. He had been in the main house of the Sato a lot of times that he couldn't remember how many. As the omega approaches the location of the living room, he can hear the voice of his lover from afar.
"Ken…" he thought that his lover might be with his siblings since he could hear him laughing but by the looks of it he was not. Rather the person that he was with was someone that Ethan doesn't even know.
"E-Ethan! Wh-when did you arrive?... I mean…" when Ken heard the familiar voice calling his name he looked in that direction and he saw the omega whom he had once said he loves the most.
"who is he?" Ethan tries to remain calm since he is aware of how friendly Ken was even with an omega. He is an omega and for Ken, no matter what gender someone is, he would still treat him or her the same way.
"That…"
"Ethan, when did you arrive?" asked Dr. Akifumi who rush to the living room after hearing the arrival of Ethan. The rest of the family followed suit, leaving Ken's younger siblings upstairs together with their nanny.
"By the looks of it, you all have a special occasion that you are celebrating, is it the arrival of Ken? I heard that-"
"We are not celebrating that Ethan…" said Grandpa Sato, the current owner of the Sato Private Hospital and the grandfather of Ken.
"then…" this got Ethan confused and nervous at the same time, he felt that something bad is going to happen.
"Dad, please let Ken tell him," said Dr. Akifumi.
"HMP! Fine, Ken tell Ethan the reason for our gathering today"
"That…Ethan…I'm sorry"
"sorry? Why? did you do something? You are making me feel nervous Ken, you didn't even say who he is and here you are saying sorry? What the hell is going on Ken?"
"He…He is Yuki, my wife" Ken closes his eyes as he says the word 'wife' in front of Ethan. Yuki can see the tension in his husband's shoulder that is why he walks forward and held his hand. Ken felt the warm hand of the omega and smiled at him lovingly forgetting the now crying Ethan in front of him.
"wife…? I- I…how? I am your lover Ken! I…" Ethan cannot seem to say what is in his mind. But when he saw the gesture of the two and the way Ken looks at Yuki he can tell that the person whom he loves the most lost his love for him.
"I'm so sorry Ethan but…it just happe-"
*SLAP*SLAP*
Just before Ken could finish his word, Ethan had slapped him on both sides of his cheeks. And it shock not only Ken but everyone in the room, they knew that the omega was angry but they didn't expect him to slap Ken 2 times. Dr.. Akifumi wanted to stop Ethan but his husband stopped him while telling him that their son needs to have that from the person whom he had hurt.
