Chapter 74

After they got back to the private suite of Lucas, Ethan locked himself inside his room. Lucas let him be for a while since he knew that the omega need to sort out his feelings. He just got a major blow of news about the new relationship status of his supposed to be the lover. Even though Lucas wanted to punch Ken, he chose not to since Ethan needs him to be there for him even though the two of them aren't in any kind of relationship.
Just a few minutes later, the door from Ethan's room opened and shock the two alpha who is waiting in the living room. Those two are Lucas and his brother Mikel who arrived 5 minutes after his brother and Ethan arrived in the suite. Ethan just walked towards Lucas without stopping he hugged the alpha.
"Ethan…" said Lucas who hugged back the omega.
"Lucas…you said that you love me right?" asked Ethan
"Yes, I do"
"are you going to leave me too if I love you back? I love Ken so much but he still left me"
"I won't"
"How can you prove that? He too said that he would be with me forever but he still married that omega"
"well, I'm not Ken and I won't be like him. I love you and it would be my greatest happiness if you are going to become mine forever and I am going to be yours and only yours forever"
"then would you marry me, Lucas? I know that I don't love you yet but I will learn to love you as long as you won't leave me" Ethan looked up as his tears continue to fall while he says those to the alpha he is still hugging. Lucas was taken aback by the sudden unexpected marriage proposal of the omega he is still hugging. He looked at Ethan with a little bit confused look on his face but as soon as his eyes met the eyes of the omega he can see the seriousness of the other and that made him smile as he caresses the right cheek of Ethan.
Mikel who was with them witness everything that unfold in front of him and just like his brother he was shocked to hear the omega propose all of a sudden. He wanted to shout and celebrate for his brother but he stop himself while he waits for the two to finish talking to each other.
"*sigh* are you sure you want to marry me, Ethan? cause I am willing to marry you and make you fall in love with me. Also once we have registered our marriage you will be my wife and there is no backing out after it cause I would never allow you to divorce me after. So do you still want to marry me, Ethan?" Lucas finally got out of his shock and asked what is in his mind.
"you love me right? And you won't leave me too so to seal or make you mine forever, I want to marry you and I would never divorce you, Lucas, as long as you will love me and won't cheat on me"
"*smile* Alright, Mikel call Allen tomorrow, tell him to call a judge that he is familiar with plus someone who can change Ethan's passport too. After we register our marriage he will use our surname so we need to change the surname in his passport. " Lucas looked at his brother who is like a fish opening and closing his mouth while he watches him and Ethan.
"a judge?" asked Mikel
"yes, or better yet we can go to a church tomorrow and get married there but we would still need to register our marriage." With a loving look, Lucas asked his now soon to be wife about their sudden marriage.
"Let us register it first then maybe we can just get married again in country A. I don't want to stay here any more than a week" Ethan is well aware that they would be leaving the country in two weeks but now that he had discovered the betrayal of Ken that he doesn't want to stay in the same country as everyone who had hurt him.
"Alright, I would make sure that you would love our wedding. Mikel, you heard Ethan, right? Call Allen and tell him that my fiancée and I would need a judge to register our marriage. I'm sure Allen knows someone from the civil office who manages the whole marriage certificate."
"*sigh* Alright, I'll call him and leave the two of you now, oh! right, Congratulations in advance to the two of you. I look forward to the day that I would meet my future nephew or niece *giggle*" just before Mikel left the private suite, he teases the new couple after giving his congratulations. He is so happy for his brother that after he called Allen, he also called their parents to let them know what just happened.

Back to the private suite, Ethan and Lucas are now sitting on the sofa as they both process what has just transpired. A sudden proposal the very day that the omega had discovered the painful truth about Ken. It might be a rash decision but after wanted to start a new and if marrying Lucas would be his new starting line then he would do so. They would get married tomorrow and for the two they both felt like something big just happened.
"Ethan…" Lucas was used to calling the omega by his name but after tomorrow Ethan would have the same surname as him.
"Yes?"
"Nothing, I am just excited for tomorrow. I know that you are not in the mood but would you like to have a romantic late dinner with me?"
"…Lucas…I'm sorry if I am forcing you to marry me, I just want to-"
"You didn't force me, Ethan, I told you, I love you and in all honesty, if you didn't propose to me I would have proposed to you but you beat me into that"
"*smile* Thank You, I will do my best to become the best wife you will have. I might not fully love you yet but I know that I would love you someday."
"I know, I am willing to wait for you."
"Thank you" Ethan fell asleep in the arms of the alpha. It might be due to him tired from crying that he felt so exhausted and sleepy. Lucas just supported him and let him sleep while they are still hugging. It might be unfair for some who will see what just happened but for Lucas, it was an opportunity to have the omega for himself.
The two would register their marriage tomorrow and that would be the start of their new relationship. A relationship wherein they would not just be friends but rather a husband and wife.
