A few days ago at the Sato residence, the day that Ken was going to arrive everyone was so excited to see him after so many months. Ken was supposed to stay in the countryside for only three months but due to the lack of staff in that hospital, he volunteer to stay there along with the original team until the hospital is capable to operate without them. Dr. Sato and his wife agreed to that since their son wanted to gain more experience in a different hospital.
"Taichi, what time will Ken arrive?" asked Dr. Akifumi to his husband. The two of them had taken a day off for the arrival of Ken. They are now waiting at their house along with their other kids and Ken's paternal grandparents.
"hmn…he just texted me awhile ago saying that he is near the area so any minute now he will arrive." Said Dr. Sato.
"did he say anything about what he wanted to talk to us?" Ken actually told his parents that he wanted everyone at home when he arrive which is why both Dr. Sato and his wife had to adjust their schedule.
"he didn't he just said that he want us all here. Do you think he will arrive together with Ethan?"
"hmn…Ken said that Ethan went to Hawaii to visit his grandfather so maybe he came back and Ken would announce something to us together with Ethan *smile* I hope it's their marriage!" Dr. Akifumi got excited with the thought of having Ethan as his son-in-law.
"HAHAHA!!! You really do like Ethan, huh, well let's hope that is the reason of our st*pid son making us adjust our schedule for his sake" said Dr. Sato, he might be harsh to his words but he loves all of his children and his wife, of course.
"Hey! Don't call him that!"
"hahaha! Sorry…oh! looks like he's here! KEN! Welcome…home…who is he?" Dr. Sato who was about to welcome his son with open arms was shocked to see someone with him and what is even more shocking is that the two of them are holding hands.
"Ken…who is he?" This time it is Dr. Akifumi who asked his son. The rest of the family just kept quiet ever since they heard the voice of Dr. Akifumi, right then and there they knew that the omega is on the verge of anger.
"Mom…Dad…I want you all to meet my wife Yuki Yamamoto." Said Ken as he introduces his new wife to his whole family. No one said anything as if they are trying to process what just happened. Ken's siblings are just quietly looking at their mother waiting for his reaction. Eita, the second son who is an omega can roughly guest what might happen between his older brother and mother.
"wife…what do you mean by that Ken? Your lover is Ethan and not him. Are you making fun of us, son?" asked Dr. Akifumi who talked first among everyone else.
"No mom, Yuki and I just got married a while ago and also Yuki is pregnant with my child so…"
"So it is a shotgun marriage?" it might be a straightforward question from Dr. Sato but that is one thing that was normally asked by reflex whenever marriage involving pregnancy was talked about.
"Dad!"
"SHUT UP!" with the loud shout from Dr. Akifumi all of them were now scared that even his husband can't do anything whenever his wife is angry.
"mom…"
"WHAT ABOUT ETHAN? DID YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT WHAT WOULD HE FEEL?! HOW COULD YOU CHEAT ON HIM?!"
"MOM! I know that what I did is wrong but I would explain everything to him so please can't you just be happy that I am now married and you will soon have a grandchild"
"happy? In exchange for the pain of another omega who loves you so much, you said that you love him too but here you are telling me to be happy that you are now married! How? How can I be happy? Can you tell me how should I do that!"
"Aki, calm down…Eita can you get your mom a glass of water" Dr. Sato went beside his wife while he asks his second son to get a glass of water. While his mother(grandma Sato) took their youngest upstairs after noticing their daughter got scared from all the shouting.
"Ken…You don't know the pain that you are about to give to Ethan. The two of you are even planning to get bonded and married but how did it turn from Ethan to him! I can't just accept this!" Dr. Akifumi then stood up and walked towards the stairs ignoring everyone.
"*sigh* Ken just let your mom for a while, he would, later on, accept your wife. He is also pregnant so make sure that you take care of him but just like what your mom said Ethan would be hurt."
"I know that dad but I can't just leave Yuki behind. I already promised him that I would take care of him and our child. I married him because I love him and our child so dad, I know that Ethan would sooner or later find out about it and by that time I would make sure to explain to him everything." Said Ken as he holds the hand of Yuki tightly.
"you love him huh…your mom would not like that when he hears that. you might not know it but your mom had an ex-lover who cheated on him and with you doing the same thing as that man must have made him recollect that bad memory."
"…maybe, I'm sorry dad…"
"I think you are apologizing to the wrong person, you should apologize to Ethan who still sees you as his lover" Hearing that made Ken feel a sudden pain in his heart. He had been feeling guilty ever since he realized that he had fallen in love with Yuki. It got worse after they discover that he got the omega pregnant while they are staying in the countryside.
"I will apologize to him, I would ask his forgiveness even if it takes years"
"Hmn…Ken did you know that Ethan had resigned to our hospital as well as in CGH. I heard that the reason that was told to me and the president of CGH is not true. Ken we all know how the two of you felt with each other after so many years, to think that with you both not seeing each other would result to this. Ken, your choice would be connected to you forever" said Grandpa Sato who had been silent ever since the arrival of Ken. Grandpa Sato is just one of the people who had witnessed the love that blo
om between his grandson and Ethan. He never thought that love would be gone after just a year of not being together.
"not true? What do you mean grandpa?"
"one of the doctors in CGH who was also the mentor of Ethan mentioned to us that Ethan would no longer work in any hospital within the country. He also told us that he is not in Hawaii just like what was told to us. I wanted to know where he is but that doctor didn't say anything about it."
"I see…" Ken then became quiet as he thinks of Ethan, the omega whom he had the promise to love forever but didn't do so. Dr. Sato can see the concerned look on his son but when he looks at the omega beside Ken he can tell that his son is loved. Remembers the time that Ken had told him so many times about his love towards Ethan he now wonders what went wrong.
"Ken, an omega who had to lose something or someone they value the most is not the weakest but rather the strongest. Their pain becomes their strength especially when they were hurt by the person they love. Ken, when your mom got cheated by his ex-lover, he hated Alphas that even I had to work hard to get his attention. He won't look nor have a conversation with any alpha that is why when I finally got his love, I promise myself that I would value and love him much more than anyone else. I married him not on a whim even though I got him pregnant too, it was only a matter of time with us but for you, you married your wife out of a sudden love and responsibility right? Your feelings would bother you as long as you haven't talked with Ethan. Make sure that you settle things with Ethan first then you can talk again to your mom. Take your wife to your room so that he can rest, I'll go to where your mom is" Dr. Sato explain everything to his son as he tells him what his own mother experience. He left the two and went to the room of their daughter, he knew that is where he can find his wife.

I know that some or most of you hate him because of what he did to our dear Ethan but this is just a bit part of him.
